About: I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of animals large and small as long as I can remember. Dogs especially just bring so much fun and joy to a home. I am excited to meet your four legged family member! We like to stay home on the weekends, except for a few hours at church on Sundays, so we have plenty of time to devote to your pet(s) over the weekend. We are hoping to open up more weeknight availability as we get used to using Rover. We work full time but have flexible schedules, so feel free to send us a request, even if it’s outside of our “availability.” We have a fenced back yard and a friendly black lab to keep your pup company. We have two young children. One wall of our fence is only about 4 feet, so it may not be suitable for dogs who can jump! We do not have crates, but we have the space to accommodate them. We have plenty of toys and are open to any needs you may have for your pet!

About: Growing up, my family always had a pet in our house. From dogs to cats to chickens to goats, I have grown to be comfortable with various types of animals. Growing up with pets of my own, I know how it feels to make sure your pet is well taken care of and safe. As a health professional, everyone (including our pets!) deserves the best love, attention, and care. I am always willing to work with your schedule. I am available most days of the week even while working a normal job. I am almost always available during the weekends and every afternoon/weeknight during the normal business week. Your pets happiness is a priority in my house. Your pets will have access to all parts of the house, along with an open yard. There is lots of opportunities for walking near my home since it is in a development with lots of sidewalks. There are no pets or children in the home, allowing for pets who may be uncomfortable around other animals or children.
About: I LOVE DOGS! Throughout my life, I have experienced so much joy in caring for not only my dogs, but for the dogs of family and friends. I am the person that gets the call when people go out of town. I am the perfect fit because I homeschool my children and have a lot of flexibility. I have a 14 year old yorkiepoo and a 3 year old lab. I’m used to both puppies and senior dogs. I am the primary caregiver for my dogs because I am home all day long. You can certainly feel at ease with your dog in my care. I walk my dogs every day and am extremely vigilant while doing so. I am also a very respectful person and you can trust that I will keep your property in the same condition that it was in before I was there. I am looking forward to helping care for your dog!
About: I volunteered at the Humane Society of Harford County for 5 years. I walked dogs, fed them, played with them, and cleaned up their kennels. I also fostered dogs, many were adults but some were puppies. I have experience with all types of animals including reptiles, birds, and amphipeans. I have had 5 dogs of my own that I loved dearly into their old age. I currently have 3 cats, 2 corn snakes, and a goldfish. I will treat your pets like they are family. I have experience with potty training puppies and training experience though I'm not a master. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. About: The last thing you want to do is worry about your pet while you’re away for work or vacation - I get it! My goal is to make your worries go “POOF!” and know that while you’re away your pet is happy, healthy, and safe. I’ll work with your pet’s schedule and give them constant care and attention while you’re away. Walks twice a day? Check. Playtime? Check. Tricks and treats? DOUBLE check! After all, your pet deserves to feel like they’re on vacation, too! I believe that communication is highly important so that you can rest easy knowing your pet is in good hands. While taking care of your pet, I’ll be in contact with you sending updates, pictures, and videos of our time together. Time away from your pet no longer has to be stressful for you or your fur baby! I currently work full time from home, which allows me to be with your pet throughout the entire day. My work day is from 7am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, and 7am-11am on Fridays. I live with my fiancé, Devin, who also helps out when needed. We live in a clean, smoke-free home at the top of a hill where there is very little traffic. There are water bowls throughout the house and plenty of treats and toys (feel free to bring your pet’s favorites as well). I also have a bathtub where I can bathe your pet if needed!

“Val has Pet sit for us and our 4 cats and 4 dogs on several occasions over the past few years. (Almost every year since 2018.) Her reliability, consistency of their schedules (a few senior pets- both cat and dog and younger puppies), good communication, Love for our pets like they are her own (they ALL come out of hiding to see her!!!) are why we trust her to keep watch while we are away. She was always on top of things if some pets were not doing well- communicating her concerns and observations. She always kept their areas clean and made sure they were let out or walked if need be regularly for potty time or exercise. The waterbowls were always full and had fresh water and the food bowls were filled at the scheduled times. Some of our senior pets were on oral medications which were given at the correct scheduled times. We have never had cause for concern because she was on top of things and again- did I mention our pets LOVE HER?!?? (Even the ones that like to hide!). If you are considering her to watch your pet, stop looking and give her a buzz. You won’t be disappointed! She will work with you to come up with a schedule and you can do what you need to do and she will take care of your babies!”
