About: I have owned diabetic dogs and one with epilepsy. Friends and coworkers always ask me to watch their furbabies because they know how good my husband and I are with our own. They trust us and coming from someone who rarely traveled and when I did I took them with me because I don't trust others would take care of them like I do. I understand the anxiety that comes with having to leave them behind for whatever reason. Knowing they will be loved and have fun makes it that much easier for both you and your pet. Safety and security are also most important to us so rest assured they will be okay. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband's business is from home so we are both always here. We never leave for more that 3 hours due to our 2 dogs. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run around. My brother also lives across from me and has over an acre of running room as well if needed. My husband and I work from home and are always available. We used to have dogs with medical issues and couldn't really leave them with anyone. My husband and I love animals and know how hard it is to leave them anywhere. Even at petsmart hotel they stay inside a small area and the play area isn't that big. We work from home and are never away longer than 4 hours. We have a 2 year old who is really good with the dogs as well but Rest assured we never let her play with them unattended. We have a large yard for dogs and know that they will be taken care of and loved while visiting us. All pets need love and attention. Even pet hotels leave them alone overnight and the thought of them having to hold it or use it in their space to feel ashamed is aweful. With us you get peace of mind and that's priceless In my home they will be treated like our own. They can play outside as long as they want. They scratch on the door ahead. They want in or out. They sleep inside on our bed with us of course. We want them to sleep wherever they feel comfortable. My dog buddy sleeps in his cage when he stays with others because he feels safe there so we understand everyone is different.

About: Hi! I am a grad student looking for pet care opportunities. I have grown up with pets all of my life, including dogs, hamsters, lizards, mice, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I currently have a dog at home that is a lab-mix and over 100 pounds, so walking bigger dogs is not a problem for me. My dog at home is an energetic dog with a big personality, and he requires long walks to tire him out. Not only do I enjoy these long walks just as much as he does, but this has given me great practice walking big dogs and dogs who pull. In terms of previous experience, I have babysat and been a dog walker for family friends while they have been on vacation. As an animal lover at heart, I'd love to be able to take care of pets as a job! I’m currently working part time! I am available on multiple weekdays and select weekends for boarding.
