I have been taking care of dogs my entire life (springers, puggles, Bernese mountain dogs, etc.). I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am recently retired and will make your dogs my priority while they are staying with me. I would love to know your dogs normal schedule at home and will replicate as closely as possible. I have a large yard and will take your dogs for walks throughout the day. About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.
“Jacob took the best care of our golden retriever, Nala, while we were gone for 8 days for our destination wedding! She loved playing in his fenced in backyard (which we saw in pictures he sent us). It was so nice leaving her knowing that Jacob works from home and would give her all of the attention outside of his working day (although I’m sure Nala tried to distract him during work too LOL). I promise to treat your furry family member with the same care, respect, and love that they would expect at home. I have a flexible schedule and would like to fill my free time. Although I plan to go back to school in January, I’ll still be available for pet sitting. I have a fenced yard where your pup can play freely, and a cozy, smoke-free home perfect for snuggles. Loyal to my fellow dog loving friends sharing word of mouth recommendations, fostered a giant breed and helped find his forever home, loved my first dog for nearly 8 years, and now I would like to fill the void by helping care for your four legged family member. I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies as well. I work fully remote, so I appreciate the screen breaks. I am able to go out for walks or outdoor time often. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. Living on 3 acres in the country, so a great space for outdoor activities. I am quite respectful when residing in another’s home and great at following instructions and/or preferred routines.
