Dog Walkers in Irving, MI

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m currently looking into part time or less demanding full time jobs, and I’ll be actively looking until I land one, until then, I should be mostly free, and I’ll definitely keep my schedule updated as life moves forward and changes. As of now, I have appointments on Wednesday, I try to keep them consistent each week, but they’re subject to change due to scheduling. With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: I have taken care of my family’s pets since I was in middle school, including animals that have had issues with separation anxiety and abandonment. I am a student who is home for the summer (until August) before attending law school at Case Western Reserve University. I am available almost every day at any time of day, but am only available until August. I take my own dogs on walks and am good about reading their signs for when they want to stop. I will show your pets lots of love and affection, as well as having plenty of experience playing with my own dogs and cats.

About: I have over 30 years of experience working with and caring for dogs. I have owned many dogs of various breeds and sizes over the years. I have experience competing in different dog sports with my personal dogs. I have 32 years of experience as a Professional Staff Trainer at Paws with a Cause, where I trained Assistance Dogs. I use positive reinforcement when training and caring for dogs! I have availability during weekends and evenings after 5:00. I do have one rotating day off during the week that I am available as well! Safety is my main concern when caring for your dog. When outside, your dog with always be on leash or in a fenced in area.

About: Hello my name is Justin L, I am 39 years, single, no kids and work full time. I lost my dog about 5 years ago and it was very hard to deal with. I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so I figured I might as well get my dog fix by helping others out on their vacation or their busy schedules. I always grew up with dogs and have had them all from small to large. Dogs are a mans best friend is the most true statement and I will always provide the best care for those dogs. Life would be so boring without dogs in it. I hope at some point in the future to get my own dog. I am available after I am off work. Depending where I’m working and where you are located I can possibly swing by during lunch time as well. I like to listen to what the owners say as far as what their preference for how they want their pet to behave. Any parameters with the house they typically write them up and I keep them updated throughout the day with photos of the pets.

About: I am a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine company and just enjoy aniamls and just can't get enough of them. I want to let you have me time and know your babies are in good hands. I work weekends mostly so I am free during the week alot and can even to weird 3rd shift hours if needed. Very flexible when I can be. I like to try and meet up before the sitting so I can know how your pet is taken care of so I can keep them in the same routine even when your gone.

About: We’ve always had dogs in our family! I’ve also watched and walked many pets of my friends and family’s! I love all types of dogs! I am currently a part time server who goes to school 2 times a week. I am available any times in the morning and night, just not as much during the afternoon. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!

About: I’ve been living with dogs since I can remember. I watch my friends and families dogs often. I worked at Chow Hound pet supplies and learned a lot about what special needs certain dogs require. I am working part time along with attending college. I am completely free on the weekends and most days during the week. I have a lot of free time overall. I have two dogs at my home. One is currently being crate trained, so I am familiar with training puppies. I watch dogs that require medication, so I can trusted with dogs that require special attention.

About: I have 14 years of experience as a pet owner and 8 years of experience as an animal sitter/walker. I have a large husky, a medium sized mixed-breed dog and a senior cat. My dogs are high energy so I walk them multiple times per day. I love walking and playing with dogs and will treat your pets as my own.
