About: I’m Ivy! I am a dog and cat lover who would be honored to spend time with your fur babies. Whether you’re looking for a mid day walk or a multi day pet/house sit while you enjoy your vacation, I’m your girl. **I can only accept bookings 2-3 months in advance** I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own. I have experience caring for dogs as small as 20lbs and as big as 130lbs. Ages from puppy to senior are okay. High energy dogs who need a run are a-okay too. Something that sets me apart is I’m an adult with a fully remote job so my time with your babies will not be interrupted by a 9-5. My experience with farm animals is limited, but my family has horses. I’m comfortable with water checks and grain / hay feeding, I work remotely full time so I can be present and on site all day. I do train in the evening a few days a week and would appreciate being able to swing by my house for a quick visit in the middle of the day. I’m happy to work with you on scheduling. I would care for your pets in your home in the manner you request. I leave each home better than I found it and will ensure your pets’ are treated like my own.

About: I grew up with animals and as an adult i have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have also enjoyed caring for friends and family pets when needed. I have volunteered at the ARL and received some training. I have an open schedule with lots of flexibility that allows for plenty of time to take care of or hang out with my furrbabies. I prefer to keep dogs leashed when a fence is not available. My cat stays indoors. I treat my pets as my children. For outdoor cats, it depends on the owner. I have seen GPS used to keep track of their location outside.

About: I've had cats my entire life, and my husband and I currently have two amazing but SUPER high energy little kitties named Eli and Finn. We are very obsessed, and they're spoiled! I have grown up in a very close, tight-knit family with LOTS of dogs and cats, and I've pet-sat more times than I can count. I LOVE animals and they tend to like me as well. I have experience with feeding, medicine, walking, vet visits, picking up animals from pet hotels, etc. I pet sit, house sit, and babysit for a lot of my family and friends, have been a nanny to my godson who has medical complications, and am well-trusted. My husband and I are going through fertility treatments, and the profit from my pet-sitting business will be supporting us in building our family! About: I have had dogs since I was but 8 years old and cared for them ever since. I have babysat friends’ dogs and take care of my own puppy daily, in addition to pet sitting for cats. I absolutely love animals and spending time around them. I am currently a full time online student at DMACC and nanny after school, with full weekend and daytime availability. Thus, I will usually have more than enough time to care for pets! I have my own puppy who is two, Nova, who loves other dogs, if you have a dog who does well with others, as well as access to a dog park. I am also comfortable taking care of pets in your home!

About: I’ve had for dogs of every age and size for my entire life, but have been a serious caretaker of them for about 10 years. I can give medicines including insulin shots, and will heed every dietary and exercise need given to me. I’m currently working full-time, however I commute from Ames to Des Moines every day so I am used to driving long distances. I also have a very flexible schedule and can work from home if I can give at least 2-3 days notice; I can leave for long periods at lunch; and I can get off work early if a drop-in visit is needed before 4:00. I can also stay as late as necessary into the evening, as long as expectations are communicated beforehand. I am extremely communicative and I will let my clients know if I am early, behind, or unable to complete a task. I cannot take pets into my apartment or workplace, however, I have experience with strictly and loosely trained animals in just about every situation under the sun. I am comfortable staying the night in a well secured home, or taking a few minutes to play with the pet(s) in the middle of the day. I am extremely clean and organized and will strive to leave my clients’ homes in the same shape or cleaner in case there are any accidents, as I am also well-versed in cleaning up after any mishaps from being left alone or too excited.

About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. I will take the best care of your pet and love it like my very own. Hope to hear from you soon. I'm available for house sitting on weekends and some week nights just ask me. Availability for pet care all week depending on the hours needed. I always accompany pets when they are outside even in a fenced in yard. I take short or long walks depending on what is requested.

And my dog gets long walks every day the weather allows, so walking alone is not the draw here. Ali communicates beautifully with me as an owner, does great follow-up when she returns from the walk, and clearly loves what she does. No complaints in my house. About: Prices are negotiable. I understand when having multiple dogs it racks up to a lot. I am willing to work with you on prices. I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old. My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.

About: I have raised multiple dogs throughout my life including Chihuahuas, huskies, german Shepard, lab, and beagle. I have also worked at different doggie day cares and animal shelter as well. I have an open schedule just need a 7 days notice. I also work full time from home Monday-friday 8am-4:30pm. Just let me know in advance before. I have only have 1 dog at my home currently a beagle. About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school on weekdays, but I'm available for walks during the lunch hours from 11am - 1pm. I'm also available after 5pm Monday - Friday and have full availability on weekends. Your pet's comfort is my number one concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore or older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has a vestibular issue, so I'm experienced lifting pets to help them up and down stairs and getting into cars. I'm also experienced giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nails, and bathing.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 15 years old when I adopted my first dog Fez while working at the local animal shelter. I've also worked at the Louisiana SPCA for a year where I spent a lot of time getting to know all the different times of breeds and temperaments of both dogs and cats. Growing up, my family always had dogs ranging from small to large breeds, so I’m comfortable with all sizes and personalities. I’m a teacher, so during the summers I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to help with walks, drop-ins, feedings, or overnight care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and go on walks or potty breaks as needed. I also make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m respectful of each client’s home and always keep things clean, organized, and well cared for.
