“Charlie, loved his visit with Macy and Luke. When we met Macy, she immediately greeted Charlie with tender attention and warmth. We received cute photos while we were at the football game, and we didn't worry about him at all while he had his "sleep over:) When we picked Charlie up on Sunday morning, Macy was ready with him outside, and he seemed so calm and happy. Our dog has issues with anxiety, but it was immediately evident that he felt comfortable with Macy. Normally, he'd race to us with a "take me home" look, but he stayed by her side until we reached down to pick him up:). Our son is in grad school in Iowa City, and we would absolutely leave Charlie with Macy and Luke again while visiting town. We recommend them very highly.”

“This was the first time we used Rover, and I was so happy that we found Kasey and her family. It was obvious from the moment I met her and her family that they loved caring for animals. Pepper enjoyed his stay and was given such great care. Kasey was such a great communicator- I received several pictures and updates that made me realize that he was getting lots of attention and love. This really helped calmed my worries regarding him while I was away. I can't say enough great things about Kasey and her family but was so grateful for their willingness to take care of my dog like he was their own. About: I have my own dog at home who I have grown up with. I have also grown up taking care of neighborhood dogs and my uncles dogs who I have taken care of since they were puppies. I have also taken care of many of my neighbors cats and other various pets. I am currently a full time student technically but I have a lot of open times that I would love to come hang out with some pets who just need some extra loving or taking care of. This also helps me have a break from life and focus on just spending quality time with some pets who are fun to be around. I always put the pet first. I make sure I remember times I went over or left and how long I have stayed at a residence so they have enough time outside of kennels or for play time. I want the pets to feel like they can be calm and chill or be crazy and I’ll play with them or walk them when they just need some energy out.
