“Luna has separation anxiety when I leave her with new people/places. Sarah was great with Luna, providing a safe environment for her. Luna seemed happy when I picked her up.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. Growing up, there was never a time without one around, and through college and beyond, I always found myself living with roommates who had dogs. Naturally, I was more than happy to help with walks, feeding, and plenty of playtime. Three years ago, I finally got my dream dog, Daisy. Since then, caring for her has become fully woven into my everyday life. Walks, exercise, mealtime routines, and quality play are part of my daily rhythm, and I truly love it. Being around dogs is something that brings me peace and happiness, and I treat every pup with the same love and attention I give Daisy. I’d be excited to meet your dog and make them feel safe, loved, and right at home. Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine. Since getting my dog Daisy three years ago, walks, playtime, feeding, and general care have become a regular (and favorite) part of my day. I’m used to planning my schedule around her needs, and I enjoy doing the same for the dogs I watch. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon potty breaks, or evening play sessions, I make sure pets are cared for consistently and lovingly. Even on my busiest days, I always carve out time for attention, activity, and bonding. Dog Walking: I always walk dogs on a leash, ensuring their safety and respecting community regulations. I tailor walks to the dog's energy level and needs, whether it's a brisk walk or a leisurely stroll. I may engage in friendly interactions with other dogs (if the owner permits) to promote positive socialization. I prioritize the dog's safety, avoiding dangerous areas and traffic. Pet Sitting: I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding times, portion sizes, and specific food. I ensure a constant supply of fresh water. I take the pet outside for regular bathroom breaks, cleaning up afterwards. I provide playtime and mental stimulation through toys, games, or short walks. If needed, I administer medication as prescribed. House Sitting with Pets: I provide all the care mentioned above for pet sitting. Home Maintenance: I may water plants, bring in mail, or adjust blinds to maintain a lived-in appearance. I ensure the home is secure, locking doors and windows when necessary. I keep the owner updated on the pet's well-being and any significant occurrences. I maintain the pet's routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I strictly follow the owner's specific instructions for each pet. I know how to handle emergencies and have the owner's contact information readily available. I use positive reinforcement techniques to build a bond with the pet and encourage good behavior. I prioritize the pet's well-being and avoid any actions that could harm them.
“I was in DSM for a short trip and needed a last minute sitter for my dog Louie and was so lucky to find Kevin had availability to take him for a whole day. I didn’t have time to do a meet and greet, I just trusted the reviews he already had and they are all on point. From start to finish Kevin was responsive, respectful and responsible with me and my dog. I would trust him over and over if I lived in DSM. Highly recommended!”

“Ashley & Oziel we’re so accommodating when I explained that my pup had recently been sick & might still have some issues with vomiting or diarrhea. They sent me a pic in the afternoon & we’re very open to our picking him up whatever time we needed. Would highly recommend this nice, dog loving couple!”

“What a wonderful daycare for our 11 month old, high energy black lab. Mackenzie had to deal with a lot from our Eddie, and she handled him so well. Her other dogs are such a delight, fun and happy!”

About: I have raised dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, and chickens my entire life. I currently have a Pug and a Boston Terrier, both puppies. I work from home and can provide day care, over nights, walks, pop-ins, etc. I am right down the street from Gateway so if you need a place to drop your animal off on your way to work downtown, I make a convenient drop off location. Very flexible with times. Air conditioning inside, large fully fenced backyard, and walks daily. 24/7 availability for pet care so long as we communicate in advance. I work from home and can be available based on your needs. I am available for drop off and pick up any time. There are a few times throughout the day where I will be driving my kids to and from events. We can communicate and work around those times. I also have a keypad. Animals are watched closely in the home and kept inside the fence in the backyard under supervision. When on walks animals are always on leash and are one on one with me. Separate food and water bowls are used. My yard is cleared of excrement daily. All animals must be up to date with shots and worming and flea/tick prevention.
“Heather was wonderful! She sent me updates all day and it looked like Bodey had the best time in her big yard with her other dogs. She was very accommodating and was a great help when we needed her last minute. Can’t wait to use her again :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12. Friends and family have relied on me for pet sitting whenever they are out of town. I currently work full-time Hybrid. I work from home Mondays and Fridays. During this time I can provide care specific to your pet and their needs. I can provide potty breaks every 0-2 hours at least. I have a giant fully fenced back yard and 2 friendly dogs. One dog prefers more to watch the other dogs play while the other dog loves to be in all the action!
“Zero, my Whippet puppy, has severe separation anxiety and refuses to be alone (even in rooms). I am SO thankful to have found Tanya. She has amazing reviews and repeat clients for a reason! From our meet-and-greet, I could already tell that she had a strong passion for animals. Today was the first time leaving Zero with Tanya, and she was AMAZING from pick-up to drop-off. She took so many wonderful photos of Zero and went above and beyond to treat him as if he were her own! Seriously, thank you so much for all that you do. Your time and skills are invaluable to the rest of us.”
“Megan had a great time at Jessica’s. It was Megan’s first daycare experience and she didn’t even hesitate going in. Megan came home exhausted, which made for a nice relaxing evening. We will definitely be booking with Jessica again.”

“This was our first Rover booking for a day of daycare. Our sheepadoodle was pretty anxious when we arrived. Scott did a good job of putting her at ease. His dog Brinley is gentle and did her part in making our dog less nervous too. It wasn’t long after we left that we got a video of her playing with 3 other dogs. That was very reassuring. We chose Scott because we liked that he and Jess were full time dedicated to the care of dogs. We liked that there would be other dogs there because we felt being busy with playmates would be a positive. It’s clear that Scott is serious about providing great care to dogs and it appears he has earned many loyal customers. I don’t think anyone should have any qualms about giving them a try! I am glad we did!”

“First time ever using this app and Lucia made it easy to book with her, nice and responsive! She sent me a video of my dog and that was comforting! Kona was happy and got to play her little heart out! Thank you so much!”

Ingersoll Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mojo and Bailey absolutely LOVE Andrew, and I feel like I hit the lottery in finding him. He's super positive, wonderful with the dogs, and happy to help in any way, whether it's stopping by my house for visits when we're gone or picking the dogs up and taking them home to his for daycare when we're entertaining. Either way, my pups are thrilled to be with him, and I'm relieved to know that they're happy and well cared for.
