“Erin and Chris are amazing!! They were super responsive. Genuinely listened to all of my dog mom concerns and were gracious and accommodating!! I got lots of pictures with updates and reassurance that everything was going well!! I will absolutely rebook with them when I have future needs!!”

“Our little dog, Sophie, is an older Dachsund mix and very shy with strangers. Lisa is wonderful with her and always keeps us updated on how she is doing. We had an emergency this time and needed an extra night and they came through for us! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a caring, patient and reliable sitter for their dog.”

“Bella could not have been happier when we picked her up from two nights at Rachel’s...in fact I don’t think she has ever been so sad to say goodbye to a sitter!! We are already planning our second stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rachel. She is a very clear and honest communicator and I trusted her to let me know if something wasn’t right.”

“Alice was fabulous!! She sent photos and a video and updates as to how our pupster was doing. We felt confident that she was in very good hands. Our dog is usually anxious around other dogs but she warmed up quickly to Alice’s little frenchie and they even had some play time. We will use her again if we need this service in the future.”

“Kylie and her family were phenomenal! My pup felt right at home with her 2 other dogs - who are the sweetest and well behaved. Kylie was so great and sent photos daily to show how happy and just how much she was being loved on!! Would recommend her to all for anyone needing a loving stay-cation for their dog🙂”

“We came to Iowa for a wedding. Cory took good care of our 2 senior dogs (labs). One has separation anxiety that he was able to comfort and the other took a nap on his bed. He walked and fed them.”

“Ashly took great care of Hank! He’s a very timid, skittish boy, but she did great getting him to warm up and settle in for the weekend. By the end, he was snuggled in, and he made himself at home on her lap! We’ll definitely be using Ashly again in the future!”

“Kevin was amazing at working with me when I change her drop off time twice due to flight changes. He sent me pictures and videos and let me know Cookie was warming up to him (as I was worried about that, as she is wary of people she doesn't know). He was also accommodating in letting someone else pick up cookie for me as I wouldn't be able to. Cookie seemed to be her normal self when I returned home and hopefully she was good for Kevin during her stay. I would book with Kevin again as he was very chill and laid back about Cookie.”

“Lucia took great care of our dog and did a great job communicating with us. When an unexpected travel complication came up, Lucia made us feel comfortable knowing that our dog was taken care of”

“Melanie and family took care of Maxim for more than a week like a family. They shared updates regularly and were very caring. We are so happy and would definitely recommend them.”

About: I've personally had many dogs of different sizes and energies, including a Border Collie, Boxer, American Bulldog. I have experience in training (reward training). I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. I regularly care for a Tibetan Spaniel and Irish Setter, helping my daughter get them ready for dog shows. I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. My schedule is very flexible and can adapt to your dog's feeding, sleeping and play schedule. I have no issues waking early, etc.
“Andrea was one of a kind sitter. She took great care of our fuzzball, so well that we could enjoy our vacation without worries. She responded quickly to all our messages and sent us pictures. She went above and beyond to accomodate our delayed flight. So very sorry, Andrea. Will definitely book again when we are in the area. Highly recommend Andrea!”

“Jessica did a great job with my girl Chloe. Her communication was great, she sent pictures and videos and updated me throughout the time Chloe was in her care. She definitely spoiled Chloe lol, she definitely went through withdrawals and was so sad the day after. I definitely recommend Jessica, she gets 5 stars from me!”

“Jenevieve was more than we ever expected. She and her family treated our Suzi like one of their own. Sending pics a couple times a day made us feel so good to know we made the right decision. Suzi has found her home away from home! ❤️”

“Our dog had a cut on his paw and eye from a bad grooming experience. While we were away for the weekend Tanya took him to the vet and took care of all of his meds (and cuddles) while he was healing!”

About: Hello! My name is Rachael and I live in Windsor Heights! I’m happy to help take care of your fur babies! I currently own two rescue dogs and a cat (Baloo Galaxy and Amelia)! I’m happy to help with your dog walking and dog boarding needs as I am able! I enjoy running and walking and love exploring new parks. I have a fenced in yard. I currently work from home and my schedule is very flexible! I was raised with dogs and got my own dog after I graduated college in 2009. My second dog was a foster that I found in 2015. Both typically get along well with other dogs after a meet and greet. I look forward to talking to you soon!
“This was my first time leaving my senior rescue pups with a Rover sitter. Alexandra was patient with my dogs and the time it took them to settle in, get comfortable and bark less. Appreciated her prompt responses and communication. Her setup was great for my dogs and she has a giant fenced in backyard!”

“Our yellow lab (who has lots of energy and is very social) seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her time with Scott while we were out of town. We appreciated receiving regular photos of her having a good time playing with other dogs. We'd be happy to use Scott again.”

Ingersoll Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Holly was absolutely fabulous. She graciously took our dogs last minute before Thanksgiving and they loved her! She took them on tons of walks, sent fantastic pictures and was always in regular correspondence (very quick responder), which reassured us that our boys were in great hands. 10/10 recommend!

This was Rogue’s first time at Tiffany’s and it was a weeklong stay. Once Rogue settled in, she was right at home. Tiffany sent us updates and was very communicative with confirming drop off and pickup times. We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was great. Would highly recommend and would book again when we plan another vacation.

Rachel and Noah were fantastic hosts for our dog and had the perfect home for him to stay. Murphy felt right at home with them. They were very communicative and kind throughout and even brought him to our wedding for pictures! They were our first experience with Rover and will definitely be booking with them again!

It was like Molly had been to Cassandra's before. She went right inside. I think animals get a vibe from people, and Molly just knew. I think Molly had a very good time at Cassandra's. I was afraid since there weren't any other dogs there, Molly would be bored. But from the pics and video Cassandra sent, Molly was having a fine time. Won't be anxious at all to drop Molly off next time.

Andrea was one of a kind sitter. She took great care of our fuzzball, so well that we could enjoy our vacation without worries. She responded quickly to all our messages and sent us pictures. She went above and beyond to accomodate our delayed flight. So very sorry, Andrea. Will definitely book again when we are in the area. Highly recommend Andrea!

Joseph was very accomodating as this was a last minute reservation. My babies seemed to be at ease there, enjoyed the backyard, etc. Joseph sent pics to us as well so we could see how well they were acclimating to his home. Would highly recommend and will definitely reach out to Joseph the next time we are needing care for the pups when we are out of town.
