Our dog was anxious but Justin was able to keep her company and sooth her while we were gone for a few hours, she eventually relaxed and laid her head on his lap! She’s very attentive to his bathroom needs, which is so important at his age, and her yard gives him a great space to safely sniff and explore. Her home is set up perfectly for dogs, with plenty of cozy beds and spots for him to relax. The fact that she’s always nearby really helps keep his anxiety low, which gives me so much peace of mind. She also has a sweet little dog who gets along great with others. it’s been such a bonus for my dog to have a companion during the day. Christy is also very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which makes scheduling so much easier. I especially appreciate the regular photo updates she sends. they always brighten my day and reassure me that my dog is happy and in great hands. About: I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family since I was a kid. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats. I can’t walk past a dog on the street without asking politely to pet them! Two years ago I rescued my dog, Stanley, who is a 24 lb terrier mix. He was abused and took a very long time to warm up, but after a lot of patience and love he’s now thriving and the best boy. I learned a lot with Stanley and feel equipped to work with shyer dogs. Stanley also likes hanging out with other dogs and would enjoy some company around the house! I currently work from home full time, so my availability is flexible. Stanley and I would be happy to have you hang out with us at my place (I’d recommend a meet and greet first). Or, I could stay at your place with your pet if that’s better for them, as long as I can have access to the WiFi so I can work. I live close to a nature trail that I take Stanley on daily, and we’re very familiar with the neighborhood. I can take frequent walk breaks and crate your pet if needed.

About: I have been dog sitting for friends for 15years. I have experience with all types of dogs from French Bulldogs to German Shepherds to King Charles Cavaliers. I treat each dog like they were my own and give them the best care possible while their owners are away. I also have experience dealing with smaller dogs that are aggressive with other dogs I work full time from home so I am able to give the dog any attention it needs and will be able to take them outside frequently. I will treat your pet like it is my own whlie they are with me. I have no issues with the dog sitting on furniture or sleeping on the bed. I will request that you provide a crate for when I have to leave the home

Would 1000% have Laura (and her husband) watch Maeve again! They are so kind and have a great set up for daycare. Maeve is an anxious girlie but was almost immediately comfortable with Laura.
