About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life, and I have lots of experience with big breeds as I’ve owned three Newfoundlands and a Leonberger. I also have some experience with elderly dogs. I have assisted in training all the dogs I’ve owned, and most importantly, I love all animals! I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’ve gotten plenty of time to spend time with your doggy. I’m less available early in the day (6–9AM), but from 9AM onward I’m at the disposal of your puppy. :) I’m quite good with crate training, as well as dogs that are a bit more stubborn. I am comfortable staying with them as long or as short as needed. I also have a lot of experience walking dogs that require prong collars or harnesses.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family since I was a kid. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats. I can’t walk past a dog on the street without asking politely to pet them! Two years ago I rescued my dog, Stanley, who is a 24 lb terrier mix. He was abused and took a very long time to warm up, but after a lot of patience and love he’s now thriving and the best boy. I learned a lot with Stanley and feel equipped to work with shyer dogs. Stanley also likes hanging out with other dogs and would enjoy some company around the house! I currently work from home full time, so my availability is flexible. Stanley and I would be happy to have you hang out with us at my place (I’d recommend a meet and greet first). Or, I could stay at your place with your pet if that’s better for them, as long as I can have access to the WiFi so I can work. I live close to a nature trail that I take Stanley on daily, and we’re very familiar with the neighborhood. I can take frequent walk breaks and crate your pet if needed.

About: I’ve owned, trained, and taken care of dogs for 26 years. I’ve had a Dachshund, Beagles, Rottweiler, and have fostered - and trained - a German Shepard, two Pit bulls, Husky, and currently a Penkingese. The German Shepard came to me from a friend who was rescuing him but couldn’t train him properly so I spent almost 2 months with him - trained him how to walk properly on a leash, stop nipping, and to become a follower rather then a pack leader. I then returned him to my friend (who I can give contact info so you can ask directly) who still has him to this day. My Rottweiler was the first dog that I had living on my own and within a month she was potty and crate trained, I trained her to walk properly OFF the leash, and even trained her to only sit in one specific spot in the car (passenger side backseat). She unfortunately passed away before my kids were born and it wasn’t fair to adopt dogs with the zero free time babies give you. My kids are now older and since I work from home, I’m excited to have dogs back around. Everyone (including dogs) that enters my home is treated like family. I’m a very hands on parent and that translates to all levels of care - whether it’s a pet or kid. I personally walk twice a day (typically by myself) so your dogs will be engaged and exercised. If you have any questions, feel free to ask - I’m very big on transparency. I work full time from home but own my own business. Due to this, I don’t have a fixed schedule or designated breaks or lunches, I can start and stop whenever I want or need to. Your dogs will never be interrupting or waiting on me for whatever they might need. I have a home with a good sized yard. Since I’m home 99.9% of the time, there really is no need to crate (unless for whatever reason you require that for sleeping or some other situation). They can sleep with me and sit on furniture (again unless you don’t want that due to the rules in your home and those rules will be followed and respected here). I’m home throughout the entire day as I work from home. He/she will be engaged & never alone while here. We also have a young dog who is sweet with all. We have long leashes and a fairly private yard, are frequently outside and would never leave them unattended. We treat all those who enter just as family.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring animal lover who has been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a yellow lab, so I’m very familiar with the daily routines, energy, and love that dogs need. Since then, I’ve also spent a lot of time around friends’ and family members’ dogs, helping out with walks, playtime, feeding, and giving them attention. “I reached out to more than eight dog walkers, and Stephanie was far and away the most reliable, punctual, communicative and considerate. She walked our dog Mia twice a day for an hour for two weeks straight (one weekend excepted, as she was at a wedding). On at least one occasion, she came early (with notice) to get the walk in before some rain, and on another, she heard popping sounds at the park (which scare my dog), and drove 15 minutes out of her way to another park. My mom, who worked with Stephanie for the pick ups and drop offs, can't say enough good things about her. We will definitely work with her again and likely be setting up weekly walks if she's available.”

About: Greetings. I've had pets most of my life and recently have taken care of many dogs during COVID on a long and short term basis. The longest stay I had was 2 months while the owner went to India. I recently moved to Pittsburgh (Mt Washington) from the Netherlands so I'm happy to have a pet to 🐶 hang out with while I'm learning the area. I work full time, however it's remote from home and I set my own break schedule. So I'll have plenty of spare time to walk, groom and play with the 🐕 I'm in a condo that allows pets and am on the ground floor so it's easy to take multiple breaks for a walk or run. Medicine wise, I have given pills and insulin injections to animals I have watched and not got scratched.

She took the time to discuss her previous experience and map out how things were going to take place. She went above and beyond to make Sullivan feel at home by allowing him to "rest" on furniture, taking him for several walks a day, and even taking him to a baseball game.
