“Hailey is an amazing sitter for my pets. She is prompt, responsive, and genuinely cares about my pets which is so helpful for me. I love the photos that I get and after visit notes and feel that my pets are being well cared for while I'm at work”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since the beginning of my middle school years. I got my first puppy when I was 11, and was able to do many months of research to make sure my puppy was able to get the proper training to learn the necessary commands and some tricks. I’ve learned patience and consistency not inly with but my other animals as well. As a part-time worker, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Daily, I am already engaging in walks, and having a pet companion can make it much more exciting! I prefer to keep dogs within their own environments in order to bring them the most comfort as possible. By being in their own home routines can be enforced within the comfort of their own homes

“Mackenzie is a sweetheart!! She showed up on time & asked all the questions that were necessary to make sure she took the very best care of my pups 🥹🥰 they absolutely loved her visit & 1000% will be using her again! 🖤🩶”

About: Animals have been my passion since I was young. I have volunteered at animal shelters along with rescuing my own dogs and cats from shelters and from the street. My schedule is pretty flexible and I am looking to possibly make this a career. I love to be outside and I am very organized and good at multitasking. I love walking and playing or even running with dog too. Currently I work part time at a hair salon and I have two school age children. I am open to hang out with any size dog. Feed them, walk them or just cuddle them! Hopefully your doggie needs a walk and I will be able to meet them very soon! Thanks so much for checking out my profile! I work part time with a very flexible schedule! I can make free time almost anytime! I love to be in the company of animals. I prefer to drop in to my clients homes. I have 2 dogs and cats at home so bringing more into my house might be hard at this point!

“Marissa is amazing! She’s super reliable and provides detailed drop-in visit notes and plenty of pictures! We’ve booked her 3 times now and our cat loves her! Would highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all ages/breeds for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I have experience with specific dietary restrictions and oral medications as well. I am currently between travel contracts (I am a travel occupational therapist) so I have open availability until my next start date. I have a cat of my own that requires oral meds in the evening, but I can be flexible with times. I am very open to what you/your pet may need! I've put dogs on runs in the yard, leashes, or harnesses, as well as keeping them away from interacting with other dogs throughout their walks if needed. Their comfort and safety are top priority.

About: I’ve spent the last 10 years caring for dogs of all kinds, including reactive pups and those needing medication. I truly love animals and take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs. Working from home allows me to be flexible and fully present—your pet gets real attention, not just a quick visit. I work from home so I have to ability to step away to care for people’s pets. I am also available most days and times It’s more than just walking dogs or making sure they have food and water. I want to make sure they know they are cared for emotionally as well and get some energy out by playing and interacting

About: I became a full-time professional pet- and house-sitter in July 2021. Since the majority of my time is spent sitting in the homes of others, I gave up my own residence a couple of years ago and became a nomad of sorts. I split my time sitting mostly between Wayne County, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA, but I also regularly get referrals in Philadelphia, Maryland, and North Carolina. The great thing about this for pet parents is that I'm never worried about stopping back to my home to check on anything, collect mail, deal with maintenance of any kind, etc - your home will actually 100% be my home for the duration of my stay! Prior to beginning pet care professionally, I had both cats and dogs growing up. I also pet-sit for friends regularly. I quickly make friends with most animals and I am especially known for winning over choosy pets who don't like strangers. Many of my clients actually schedule their time away from home around my availability because of how bonded their pets become to me! I will do everything I can to make sure your furry friend is happy and comfortable on a little staycation of its own while you're away, so you can travel worry-free. A few notes about my rates: -The prices quoted here reflect standard care, e.g., staying overnight, offering 2-3 feedings, doing a morning/midday/night walk or potty break, scooping litter once per day, regular snuggles and some playtime. Before I confirm these rates for bookings, though, I will need to learn more about the needs of your pet(s). E.g., Are they on medications; if so, how are they administered and how often? How many potty breaks or walks will they need per day? How long can they be left alone? Do they sleep through the night? Is it common for them to have accidents in the home that need cleaned up? Is any grooming care needed? -In addition to the above, I will also aim to have a clear sense of what level of home care is desired. E.g., Collecting mail and keeping an eye for packages? Washing used linens? Sanitizing kitchen and bathroom before departure? Vacuuming, sweeping, or mopping? Trash or recycling days? Plant care? Any outdoor tasks (e.g., water plants or grass, snow removal)? -I welcome sitting opportunities of any length. If you're scheduling a trip of 10+ days, we can discuss a discounted daily rate. Pet care is my primary work, so it's the crux of my routine! I also do some freelance work remotely so pet care always fits well into my schedule any day of the week. It's easy and enjoyable for me to take breaks to ensure that furry friends receive regular walks and/or snuggles, plus they can hang with me if I'm working. For dogs who like going on adventures, I am always happy to take them on longer walk/hikes, as I'm an active and outdoorsy person. But I'm also quite a homebody in general, so I will definitely be a couch potato with pets that don't go out exploring too. I will do my best to keep their eating and bathroom break schedule on their normal routine while you are away. I will gladly snuggle them at night in bed if your pets are permitted on the furniture and can ensure observing any rules of the house in relation to where the pet can/can't access. I'm a tidy person who is known by my clients for high-quality care of both the pets and the home. In my college days, I worked as a hotel housekeeper and it taught me to be a neat freak. In general you can expect to find your place the way you left it if I sit for you! I send at least one check-in per day that includes photos to make sure you get a daily dose of cuteness and know that all is well! I can arrange for this check-in to occur at whatever time works best for you. I'm typically a speedy responder to other messages, too, though I do silence my phone while I sleep and occasionally during brief parts of the day, e.g., for meditation, yoga, or virtual meetings. Some clients are comfortable with their sitters having visitors, but I never expect nor assume that's the case and would certainly not bring anyone into your home without discussing the possibility in advance. It's completely fine if clients have a no-guest policy. Even when permitted, guests are uncommon for me, but may include my teen mentee of 5 years from Big Brothers Big Sisters or an occasional gal pal for a movie night. Some clients welcome sitters to eat perishables that will spoil while they're away, others encourage sitters to help themselves to any food in the house. I will never assume either, however, and there's no pressure. Unless I'm explicitly told otherwise, rest assured that the only consumable goods I may use are essentials like cooking oils, spices, and occasionally milk/creamer for my tea.

About: I treat every animal as if it were my own. I am committed to making sure they feel loved, safe, and well cared for. I have gained a lot of experience watching my friends’ and neighbors’ pets throughout highschool. I have truly seen it all and I have found joy working these furry babies. I am a college student on summer break, so my schedule is very flexible. I have plenty of time during the week (including the weekends) to take on new responsibilities. This break allows me to stay active and make the most of my free time. I feel very comfortable taking care of animals. Every pet has its own personality and I am confident in my ability to read a pet's body language. l've learned to recognize subtle cues like tail movement, ear positioning, and vocalizations to ensure we both have a positive experience.

About: I have ten years of experience training and working with German Shepherds. I am knowledgeable and ready to work with any dog, no matter their age, breed, or size! Animals are my passion and my life! Besides my awesome dog, I have two horses, two goats, and a rabbit. I'm also a PEMF practitioner, so I get to work with them full time! Working in clients homes I am always very attentive to what they ask! I will follow all the steps you ask to make sure your animal has the very best care.

About: I love animals!! I have been caring for my dogs and those of loved ones or over a decade. You and your loved ones can rely on my dedicated and caring services. Please feel free to ask any questions. A service you're looking for not detailed? Let's talk!! I work mostly remote, which gives me flexibility to help other families in need. I look forward to meeting and caring for your loved ones. Whether it be walks, hikes, or just play time and potty breaks, I'm here to serve your needs, whatever they may be. Harmony can be made simple with all pets. My dogs enjoy puzzles, play time, snuggles, and love healthy treats. What do your fur babies enjoy the most?

“Stephanie is absolutely wonderful with our cat Cocoa! She was willing to work with our hectic schedule and and is so nice and accommodating. She also sends pictures and updates throughout her visit with our cat. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for pet care. She’s the best!!”

“Brandon was wonderful with my two senior kitties. And he took us on last minute when my previously arranged sitter unfortunately got covid and had to cancel. I’m so grateful! His daily updates were great and he was very easy to work with. My kitties were happy and healthy when I returned.”

About: My family and I absolutely love dog sitting — it’s such a rewarding experience getting to spend time with different breeds and enjoying all of their unique personalities. I truly spoil every pup as if they were my own, and they quickly become part of the family. You’ll see that reflected in my reviews! :) Before reaching out, I kindly ask that all dogs be fully house-trained, spayed or neutered, free of fleas, ticks, and worms, good with other pups and most importantly, great with kids. This helps ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone involved. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, but dogs are always supervised and either leashed or on a lead during all outdoor time. I bring this up because one client rated me slightly lower due to the lack of a fence. Even though it wasn’t mentioned in the written review and had nothing to do with the quality of care provided, I just like to be upfront so there are no surprises. If a fenced yard is something that’s important to you, I completely understand and encourage you to find the best fit for your pup’s needs. I’ve chosen Fox Chapel as the location on my profile because it’s a convenient central point for many of the areas I regularly serve. I’m located about 25 minutes from that area, but my clients come from all over the Pittsburgh region — some even drive over an hour — so listing this ZIP code helps keep my services easy to find and accessible. Lastly, a quick note: Rover takes a percentage of the total booking fee, which helps support their platform, maintain security, and provide protections for both pet parents and sitters like me. With that said, if you’re especially happy with the care your pup receives, tips are always appreciated — though never expected! Thank you so much for considering me, I'm looking forward to making some paws-itively wonderful memories with your fur baby. Sorry, I had to! Hehe :) Once again, I work from home so I am always here and available to care for him/her. They will be very well loved! I promise! I'll keep you updated throughout the stay with various photos, and other updates. If I'm unsure about anything, I will absolutely reach out and ask you!

“Always a pleasure having Brian take care of our babies. They were a bit naughty and got into our Christmas tree and he cleaned up after them and made a barrier so that they couldn’t get to it. Glad to know we won’t come home to a down tree!”

I’ll give all my love to them The pets will be strictly keep in house, be feed on time. Litter will be cleaned twice a day. I will watch all their behavior to make sure they are health. Emily M.
“I’ve known Emily for many years and shes always been such a responsible and patient person. Before I knew I could count on Emily, I had my neighbor dog sit for me and I returned home to a messy house and unhappy pup. But when I was traveling across the country, Emily stepped up for me. I came home to a spotless house and a very happy pup. I know from personal experience that Emily is a very responsible and loving pet caregiver. She shows up no matter what and goes above what’s required for your furry friend.”

Emma H.
“Emma has been pet sitting for us for a few years now and we are always happy with her care when we arrive home! We have a bunny and 2 cats that she cares for. She also always remembers to leave food and water outside for the stray cat! Their areas are always kept clean and she follows any requests that we have! Emma is very kind and caring towards our animals and they love her as well! I never have to worry when leaving my pets in her care and would recommend her services to anyone. I know she has cared for a variety of pets and is quick to learn about any type of animal she hasn't cared for before!”

“Natasha was our caregiver for almost a year. She was not only in charge of watching our children, but we had a German shepherd she was responsible for as well. I could tell right away how good she was with dogs which was a huge plus for us. Buddy (our dog) was quite the handful and often tackled down when playing with her. She always handled him well and treated him with as much love as she treated our children with no matter how hard he was at times. They shared a very cute bond! Stacie”
