“Heather was the perfect match for our pup and our travel needs this past summer. She was reliable, gave our pup love and attention while we were out of town and also sent us snapshots, which we appreciated and looked forward too! We will definitely book Heather again in the future!”

Nancee N.

“Nancee made sure our dogs had the best time during her visits! We appreciate that she let them be dogs and play and get dirty - their lives are short! And, on top of it, she made sure they were clean to go back inside after. Thank you so much!!”

Richard W.
“I've known Rick for over 15 years, including several years spent as roommates. He was there when I got my first cat and he took excellent care of her when we were living together. He grew up around animals and has two cats of his own who he would do anything for. In the time that I have known him, he has proven to be a reliable, genuine, and honest person. He truly loves all animals and anyone would be lucky to have him as a pet sitter.”

About: Growing up, we had at least 3 dogs at all times. I often was the caretaker for them and loved being around them. I’ve had 2 dogs in my adult life, a Boxer and a Great Dane, both of whom were reduces. I love dogs dearly and believe the deserve only the best care and attentiveness. I have a fairly flexible schedule so I am available for drop ins, in-home stays, and walking most weekends and weekdays. I am more than willing to work with what works best for you and your pets. I am currently not able to do boarding in my own home but am available to stay at your home or do drop-in visits. I not only take care of your pet’s basic needs but love to love on them too! Let me know your pets needs and preferences and I’ll make sure they are taken care of.

Ashley M.

About: I have been a dog, cat, and rabbit parent for most of my life and I love animals. My beloved cat recently died and I am missing the love of a pet but I’m not ready to get another one at this time. I will take very good care of your fur baby. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, and rabbits. I work 9-5 but can walk a dog during the day and my nights and weekends are mostly free to care for your pet. Any dog or cat is welcome! I have a two-level townhome with a balcony for outside enjoyment. I live in a semi-rural area so walks will include lots of trees and green areas.

About: My innate love for nature and all animals while owning several dogs, cats or whatever I'd bring home shows that I'm a natural fit for pet sitting. I am a professional nature photographer who studies habitat and feel I do have a calming connection with pets beyond a warm spot in my heart. I know that all animals bite. I'm retired and have some commitments, but I'm available 7 days a week and on short notice to walk or house sit. I'm not prepared to lodge your pet overnight at this time. However, that may change soon. You can be assured I will focus on your pet and not be distracted or lazy. I will be slow and gentle to gain their trust. I won't train or challenge them beyond their comfort level. Spending the first hour with all of them and doing their favorite things would ensure comfort for everyone.

Rachel V.

About: I have had a dog for most of my life. My family recently got a puppy, and he is a joy. I have volunteered at the shelter, taken care of family/friends pets and have worked in a daycare for dogs. They relied on me to feed, water, and take their dog(s) out to go to the bathroom. I’ll also help train or reinforce simple training. I have a dog of my own so daily I make sure he has food, clean and clear water. I also make sure he goes to the bathroom. We used to go to daycare, but now we do daily walks! I would love to help do these things for you and your pet plus more! I feed my pets twice a day and make sure they always have clean and clear water. I make sure they go outside every couple of hours, but if they show they need to go out sooner, I take them out. I play with my pets and love to cuddle! When I worked in a daycare, I made sure the pets were fed and had clean water. I also took them out three times a day for two hours each time.

“Great as always! Thank you!”

Mal R.

“Mal was great! She took time out of her day a week before to come and visit the girls so they could see her and start to get used to her. She was conscientious and very considerate. Gave plenty of feedback on her visits. They are not used to different people in the house but Mal was very supportive and she knows over time they will get used to her. I’m definitely going to seek her services again - and more often!”

About: I frequently watch my family members dogs. I take the neighbors dogs for walks all the time. I’ve cared for dogs of all different sizes, cats too! My pets get fed twice a day. My dog gets a walk or plays ball at least once per day. My dog also goes to the park frequently to go to the beach, followed by a shower. I always keep a close eye on what ever pet im watching and am aware of other dogs in the area. I also stay aware of weather or not other animals seem friendly or not and will use that to gauge weather the pet im watching is ok to interact. If you are looking to go through me individually and not through Rover, you can send me a message on here and I’ll send you my phone number and we can contact that way. The both of us can avoid fees this way too!
