About: I grew up with a west highland white terrier named Duffy. He was my best friend! When I go on walks with my husband I have to pet every dog I see. Dogs seem to really like me. I am a freelance writer/editor, and I also do sewing repair jobs, so my schedule is flexible. If I have to come to your home twice a day and you are within my area, taking care of your pet should fit into my schedule nicely. I will come to your home twice a day to care for your pet. I will make sure your pet is fed, watered, and gets any necessary medications, and I will spend time with them so they aren't lonely or bored. I will lock up your house with the key or code you provide me and follow any instructions for lighting/temperature, etc.

About: I have several years of dog and house-sitting experience through word-of-mouth referrals, caring for pets during trips ranging from a few days to a week and a half. I strive to find what works for each pet as an individual. I have cared for an elderly dog who required daily medication, had significant vision loss, and was a very picky eater. She preferred a very consistent routine. I have also cared for a younger, energetic dog who loved to play, needed plenty of exercise, and had mischievous streak. Working with such different dogs has helped me become flexible and responsive to a wide range of temperaments and care requirements. I’m currently working part-time, and my hours are somewhat inconsistent (with a trend towards more availability in the evenings), however taking time off would be no problem for me should it be required, given there’s sufficient advance notice. When caring for pets in a client's home, I always prioritize following any provided instructions and established routines. In this respect, I especially appreciate detailed care notes, as they help me provide the most consistent and personalized care possible. Every pet is different, and I believe clients know their pets best. At the same time, I use good judgment and common-sense safety practices to ensure pets remain safe, healthy, and comfortable while their parents are away. I am patient, attentive, and observant, and I make it a priority to learn each pet's personality, preferences, and needs. Whatever that means, I aim to adapt my care to what will help each pet feel most at ease. I also value staying in contact with pet parents throughout their time away, as much as their availability and preferences allow. My services include: •30 minute dog walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood to help your pup get fresh air, exercise, and a little adventure during the day. •30 minute drop-ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of love to make sure your pet is comfortable while you're gone. You can book up to three drop-ins per day! Every pet is different, so I’m always happy to accommodate extra needs or customize visits to fit your pet’s routine. • I always offer a (free) 10-minute meet-and-greet before any drop-in or walking service. This gives us a chance to meet, helps your pet get familiar with me, and lets us go over their routine and any other needs. Meet-and-greets are not required to book with me, they are simply available if you’d like a little extra comfort and peace of mind before our first visit!

About: I have grown up around a ton of dogs and have taken care of multiple dogs at a time. I understand that dogs are in need of exercise and attention daily. Walks are great ways for dogs to get exercise and it is important to be aware on how to properly walk dogs that will teach good walking habits. Lastly, I have a lot of free time and can be flexible with different schedules if needed. Seamlessly, I have a lot of free time and am always availlable on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I can work around other peoples schedules if needed as well. While walking these dogs I will teach them good walking habits, building other dog-to-dog relationships, and being able to be flexible with the dog owners schedule and rules.

About: I've had my 18+ year old cat since he was a kitten and have been around cats and kittens for most of my life. We also have a 7 year old mini goldendoodle who we've trained and raised since he was a puppy so I'm pretty accustomed to being around animals. I will also send friendly updates with pictures or videos if wanted :) I was recently laid off from my corporate design job so I am free and flexible to help/watch your furry friend(s)! I'm available for walks, checkins, or pet-sitting throughout the week. I am available to come to your house in order to feed, walk, give medications, clean litter boxes, take outside, etc. I'm also available if you need a stay-in caretaker.

About: I have always loved animals, whether it be a mouse or a horse. I also love to help people out, especially with dogs and cats. I’ve babysat one dog long-term (about 6 months), and I have been babysitting the same dog for about 2 years, since he was a 8 week old puppy. I also had a dog who passed away a few years ago, and had to take care of her in her senior years and help her get up as she had hip problems. In between dog-sitting, I did babysit dogs for a week, and usually wouldn’t mix dogs unless owners were okay with it. (these owners were from my work or teachers from my high school). I am currently attending college in Duluth. However, I do come home quite a bit Fridays-Mondays. In the summer, I will be very flexible though! I take dogs out on leashes as it makes me feel most comfortable but fenced in yards while watching the dog also makes me feel comfy as well.
