About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and stay temporarily in my parents house in Charlotte. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.

“Bret did a wonderful job while we were away. Ginger has special needs and Bret took them to heart while she is rehabing from a torn ACL. The pics we received all thru the stay made my heart melt, as they showed how much they enjoyed being with him. Bret was very respectful of our home as it was a live in. He left it as clean ( if not cleaner) than when he arrived. We have already booked another stay with Bret.”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs since I can remember. Many neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to look after their lovely pets! I will adore them as if they were my own! I work a job that is remote throughout the week and I do find myself having a lot of extra time because of that. I have a pretty open schedule during the weekends so I’m very flexible and I’m willing to stay at your house or bring them over to interact with my own pet.
