About: Hi there amazing pet parents! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Since I was a teenager, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. Professionally, I’ve worked at several kennels, volunteered at Tangi Humane Society & been a foster mom for Cajun Tails Rescue, worked at Hammond Veterinary Services, and I’m currently with Hickory Small Animal Hospital as I am also pursuing veterinary technician license. I’m trained in pet CPR, administering medications and vaccines, and have experience with both energetic puppies and senior pets with special needs. Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have three friendly fur babies of my own at home who love making new friends. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing them with the love and care they deserve! 💕 Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—it’s something I’ve built my schedule around for years. Whether it’s morning walks, mealtime routines, training sessions, or evening playtime, caring for animals is second nature to me. Since I work in a veterinary setting and have pets of my own, I’m constantly engaged in caring for animals both professionally and personally. It’s not just a job for me—it’s a lifestyle I love and live every day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. In my home, pets are treated like family—they have plenty of space to play, relax, and enjoy companionship with my own friendly dogs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. When caring for pets in your home, I work to maintain their normal routine to reduce stress while you’re away. I respect your space and make sure everything is clean and tidy when you return. I provide regular updates, photos, and am always just a message away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, snuggles, or specialized care, I tailor each visit to your pet’s individual needs.

About: I have worked with big dogs like Great Pyrenees and , medium dogs like Pit bulls, and small dogs like toy poodles. My most recent dog lived to be 14 years old and so I’ve grown an appreciation and understanding of care for those dogs. My current dog is a fostered young Pit Bull from the shelter. I don’t discriminate on dog breed or age. I also works with snakes so I’ve had my fair share of bites, it’s just something that comes with the job. I haven’t owned a cat of my own but I love cats and am starting to realize I may be a cat person! I’m currently a Grad student at SELU so I’m busy on Mondays and Wednesday’s but have a lot more time over the weekend and during Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I crate trained my current foster dog so I can crate your animals if necessary. I also have a back yard so I’m used to letting animals out on a leash.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience working at a veterinary office, where I’ve gained valuable knowledge about pet health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications and providing special care for senior pets or those with medical needs. I also have experience training puppies, helping them learn basic commands and positive habits with patience and kindness. Above all, I’m passionate about animals and committed to giving each pet personalized attention, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care is an important and enjoyable part of my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s walking dogs, feeding cats, or spending quality time playing and comforting animals, I make sure to prioritize their needs consistently. Working at a vet office has taught me the importance of regular schedules, so I’m very organized with feeding times, medication administration, and exercise to keep pets happy and healthy. I genuinely love making pet care a regular, rewarding part of my life. When pets stay in my home, I create a warm and safe environment where they can feel comfortable and loved. I stick to their regular feeding and exercise schedules to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I provide plenty of playtime and affection to help them feel happy and secure. I’m attentive to their individual needs, including any medication or special care, and I always monitor their health closely. My home becomes a cozy, caring space where pets can relax and enjoy their time while their owners are away.

About: Growing up I have loved animals and wanted to have a career with animals. Rover is just one way I can do that! Growing up I had a multiple animals that were childhood pets that I’ve adored. I am the type of person that will stop a stranger just to say hello to their furry friends! I enjoy dog sitting and meeting so many unique breeds and animals that I can form a bond with the animal and the owners! I love the experiences and becoming someone trustworthy to have as a repeat client! I currently work 4pm-10pm a few days out of the week. I have a bachelors in human sciences. I myself have threes dog and a cat that are all rescues. They are my spoiled little fur babies that get tons of cuddles, kisses, bark box toys, cat scratchers, etc. They love sleeping on the bed with us under the covers, head on pillow Lol! Overall, pet care fits into my daily routine because I feed, walk, and play with my own animals all day and make sure they are loved on and taken care of just as I would do the same for your own! They have tons of toys that are played with, I let them lay in the bed with me or chill on the couch. I feed them every morning and water them frequently. I walk them every 30mins-1 hour. I will also play with them outside etc. they cuddle and get plenty of belly rubs and scratches while I’m near. I am the type of person who loves seeing your pets and will think about them all the time even if I only watched them once! I love bringing them toys and treats! The phrase I have never met a stranger resonates with me in human and animal aspect! I love meeting new people and animals are always a plus! Pet care is always my top priority. I chose to animal sit over my part time job. I want your pets to have the best care possible. If I ever have work I make sure it’s not longer than a few hours. I want your fur babies to always be attended to and taken care of. I have several pets in my own home that are mine. They are kennel trained and leash trained. I don’t keep my dogs locked up nor would I do that to your pets. I treat your pets like my own. I will give them cuddles and kisses and send you tons of pictures.

About: Hello and Welcome, my name is Brianah and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I will take care of your babes as if they were my own. Professionally I worked at a high end grooming salon in bustling Orange County, California. I worked with dogs from the size of Chihuahuas to 150 lb Doodles! Many of my clients struggled with differing behavioral issues such as dog aggression, reactiveness, anxiety, and more. I am well versed in methods to handle a wide array of situations. I currently have 2 French Bulldogs (Spookie and Fig Newton) and an American Pit Bull Terrier (Chico). They are a rowdy bunch of boys but I love them! I have owned bully breeds for 12 years now so I am well aware of behavioral indicators, training, temperament and diet for these specific breeds. The first dogs I owned and raised were two English Mastiff boys who weighed 160 lbs and 140 lbs.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 229 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Husser. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Husser. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Husser.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Husser. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 93% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
