“Alex is fantastic. She was so good with my pup. She asked questions about his temperament and personality, she listened to my instructions about how to greet him because we’re working with another trainer; the whole nine. She brought my pup back and he whined when she was leaving like watched her car and whined. He was so happy to be with her and he came back so tired!! I will absolutely continue to use Alex and would recommend her to any of my friends and family.”

About: I am well versed in anything that includes animals. My father has owned a dog business for over 15 years and I have helped him throughout my whole life. I am also very well versed in horses and work for a couple people around their barn! I am a college student, but I have a very flexible schedule. I also work a few jobs but that doesn’t interfere with my scheduling. I have a fenced in yard with my own fur baby to keep your company! My roommate also has her own fur baby who will be happy to mingle with yours.
About: I have been taking care of dogs and animals since I was a child. At just 11 years old, I got my very own dog and have taken care of her by myself for the past 7 years. I trained her as a puppy to be potty trained, be obedient, and to do over a dozen tricks. I have worked with Rover for about a year and have loved each experience. I have also dog sat for friends and neighbors numerous amounts of times, and have enjoyed every one of them :) I am currently enrolled in online courses for school and have the ability to create my own schedule based on when your fur baby needs assistance. I have a very flexible schedule and can be available any time of the day. I will follow a strict schedule for your pup if needed. This will include providing food and water, regular exercise, playtime, and ensuring a safe environment surrounding your baby. I can take them on long walks and can handle a strong dog on a leash.
About: With over 7 years of hands-on experience and a lifelong love for animals, I bring genuine passion and reliability to every pet I care for. As a dedicated pet parent to two happy, well-loved dogs, I understand the importance of trust, safety, and personalized attention. I treat every pet like family—because that’s exactly what they deserve. As a self-employed bakery owner, I have the flexibility to make my own schedule—meaning I’m available any time of day to give your pets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day check-ins, or evening visits, I can adapt to meet your pet’s needs. I follow your pet’s routine closely, provide loving care, and keep your home tidy—ensuring comfort, safety, happiness, and plenty of tail wags while you’re away.
About: I have always had animals in my life. I know each one is different and special. I grew up on a farm so I know having a loving and compassionate person to care for your babies is a necessity when you have animals. I am a stay at home mom so while the kids are at school I have plenty of time to come by and play with your babies. I have a fenced in courtyard area in my home. We also have two dogs that love other dogs. One is a rescue Maltese and is 12 years old. The other is a 2 year old poodle, he is my husband's service dog so usually he is at work with my husband all day.
“Outstanding!! My dog lives her and would have went home with her, she's loving and a true animal lover. I'll continue to use her. Thanks for taking care of my diabetic dog, and being so thoughtful about his special needs.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience working at a veterinary office, where I’ve gained valuable knowledge about pet health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications and providing special care for senior pets or those with medical needs. I also have experience training puppies, helping them learn basic commands and positive habits with patience and kindness. Above all, I’m passionate about animals and committed to giving each pet personalized attention, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care is an important and enjoyable part of my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s walking dogs, feeding cats, or spending quality time playing and comforting animals, I make sure to prioritize their needs consistently. Working at a vet office has taught me the importance of regular schedules, so I’m very organized with feeding times, medication administration, and exercise to keep pets happy and healthy. I genuinely love making pet care a regular, rewarding part of my life. When pets stay in my home, I create a warm and safe environment where they can feel comfortable and loved. I stick to their regular feeding and exercise schedules to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I provide plenty of playtime and affection to help them feel happy and secure. About: All the Doggies sleep with me in my bed! They are allowed on furniture & anywhere they’d like to be comfortable. I worked for Companion Animal alliance in Baton Rouge working with dogs & cats as a caretaker. I mobile groom for people around the Livingston parish area & I’m well known on the nextdoor app. I have a bunch of references! I am very passionate about your fur babies & one day will open up my own business building for grooming/boarding & as new clients you would be adding to my fund for that. It has been my life long dream to accomplish this one day & I am going to keep working towards that. I want to expand this business into something much bigger & for people to feel at ease with leaving your babies in the care of someone who will love them unconditionally. All you have to bring for your baby is their dog food/cat food. I have dog/cat bowls, leashes, toys, puppy pads, litter boxes, litter, cat toys, cat/dog beds, ( I supply dog treats ) I do not put the babies in kennels unless instructed to do so by you if you bring your own. At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. Thank you for taking the time to read this & hopefully you have found the right sitter for your baby/babies. 🐶 I bring the babies to the dog park twice a week along with water treats & toys. I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. I LOVE & taking care of your 4 legged sweetie pies, when you book with me it will allow me to continue to care for the fur babies & accomplish my life long dream to open up a bigger place to care for more. 💕 I truly appreciate repeat customers, but with inflation the way that it is, the cost of gas being so high, I had to make the difficult decision to raise my prices up to $2 more since last year. I understand if you choose to look elsewhere for services, but I hope that you choose to continue to use me. & for new clients ❤️ I have a small male dachshund that gets along with animals & kids very well! I am 100% committed to your pets to make them & you comfortable with my services. I treat my clients babies just like I would my baby!

About: I have a dog and a cat of my own that I have loved and taken care of for over 10 years. I also dog sit, bathe, walk, and feed my neighbors, friends, and families dogs on countless occasions! I recently graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University and have some free time before my summer internship starts. For now, my days are pretty much free. I unfortunately do not offer boarding or in home sitting at this time but may in the future. If you need a walker or quick drop by I’m your girl!
About: I love dogs! I have 1 very spolied dog, King. He's a4 year old boxer that gives an impression that he'll eat you for lunch, but he's the biggest sweetheart!! I spoil and love on him every chance I can. He'll never want for anything, except more kisses! I want to share that love with other dogs in my spare time. I have a lot of love to go around. Your fur baby will go on walks and updates will be left for you to view upon your return! I am a very honest and reliable individual. I am punctual probably to a fault. Dont want me feed treats to your furry friend? I will never do what I am told not to. You can trust me and you'll be recommending me to your friends!! King usually sleeps all day, but I make sure he goes out and runs around several times a day. I go on long walks, but he had a very expensive surgery and I don't think he can take long walks. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or a client's home, all rules will be followed. My primary reason for being on Rover and caring for dogs is to make sure that nothing is missed while the hoomans are away!
