About: Reliable and caring pet sitter with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a passion for keeping pets safe, happy, and well-cared for. With years of experience. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and maintain a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, and I can easily adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s needs. This allows me to provide consistent attention, care, and companionship, ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. In my home, I provide a safe, spacious, and welcoming environment. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make up for it with multiple daily walks and trips to the dog park twice a day for exercise and socialization. I also have two children and a friendly dog, so your pet will have plenty of companionship and feel right at home. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care—so they stay comfortable in their familiar environment.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over six years, and spending so much time around animals has taught me that every pet has a unique personality, routine, and way of communicating. My experience includes caring for dogs both in Colombia and in the U.S., as well as cats, so I’m comfortable with different temperaments and daily care needs. I’m patient, dependable, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From energetic puppies to senior pets who just want a calm companion, I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs. For the past 7 years, I’ve worked as a professional animal trainer with marine mammals—so patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are at the core of everything I do. I bring that same thoughtful, reward-based approach to working with dogs and other pets. I currently have a small Pomeranian mix of my own, so I understand just how important it is to trust someone with your four-legged family member. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities—and I’ll care for them just like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits easily into my routine alongside my 9–5 schedule. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the week, and I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for more flexible care. I’m careful to only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and comfort level, whether in my home or yours. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and preferred routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm, safe environment. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and work to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. My goal is always to keep your pet happy, stress-free, and well cared for while you’re away.

Rebecca, did an outstanding job! She stopped by the house the day before to see if the dogs and her would get along, and they loved her. The next few days she came by and walked them while I was at work and sent pics of the pups on the walks. I will definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a dog sitter. James

About: Hi, I’m Jennifer! Animals have always been at the center of my life. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania surrounded by the Amish community, where caring for animals, from cows and goats to dogs and cats, was simply part of daily life. That early experience shaped my respect for animals of all kinds and gave me a lifelong passion for their care. Today, I’m proud to be both a certified yoga instructor and a devoted pet mom to three wonderful dogs and several cats. I bring the same patience, energy, and mindfulness from my yoga practice into how I care for animals. Over the past 20 years, I’ve gained extensive experience with dogs and cats of all ages, but I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs and cats. From gentle walks to providing comfort and administering medications, I understand the extra attention and compassion they need in their golden years. Whether your pet needs an energetic play session, a calming stroll, or specialized senior care, I adapt to their unique personality and routines. I am flexible, reliable, and committed to making your life easier while giving your pet the very best care. You can relax knowing your four-legged family member is in good hands. I treat every pet like my own, because I know how much trust it takes to leave your fur-baby in someone else’s care. Walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, litter box cleaning, or simply keeping them company, I make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. No task is too big or too small.

About: While professional dog walking for others is new for me, caring for dogs is not. I was lucky to spend 14 amazing years with my own dog, who was truly my soul dog and taught me so much about patience, attentiveness, routine, and unconditional love. After recently stepping away from my corporate career to slow down and focus on things that genuinely bring me joy - spending time with dogs, being active outdoors, creating meaningful connections. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I would care for them with the same kindness, attention, and love I gave my own. Whether your furry friend loves long walks, playtime, or simply companionship, I'm excited to provide a safe, fun and loving experience for them. Because I've recently stepped away from a corporate career I am flexible with my time, which allows me the ability to care for your furry friend. Dog walking is the perfect fit for this season of life because it combines my love for dogs, being active outdoors, and building meaningful connections in my community. You can expect dependable communication, punctuality, lots of love and attention for your pup, and someone who will care for them as if they were my own. At this time, I’m focusing exclusively on dog walking so I can provide the best possible experience and attention to each pup I care for. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I will make sure they are securely leashed, closely supervised, walked in safe areas, and cared for according to your instructions and their individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys energetic walks or a slower pace, you can expect dependable care, patience, and lots of love every step of the way.

About: Hi there! My name is Chloe and I’m an avid dog lover. I grew up with them my whole life and now have one of my own, a Bernedoodle named Lady Lou. I’m very active and like to bring her (and your pups) with me on walks, runs, the dog park, and swims in the lake (I don’t mind giving them baths). I have a fenced in yard and live one block from a great dog park that is a great for getting the zoomies out and lots of comfortable dog beds for late night snuggles. I also like to practice obedience skills with lots of treats :) I’ll make sure your dog feels happy and safe staying with me while you’re out of town, and more importantly that YOU feel confident that your dogs are in safe hands...I know how important that is and how difficult it can be to find someone you trust. Let me be that person for you and your dog! I do work full-time, but have a lot of flexibility on weeknights and the weekends, so if you work on the evenings or weekends, I can definitely help out when needed! I live next door to a dog park if your dog likes activity, but have plenty of room indoors if they prefer to lay low and relax instead. I work full-time Mon-Fri, but can offer dog-walking services in the evenings. I am available most weekends but I update my calendar often if I plan to be out of town. I live one block from a dog park and have a friendly dog that can keep your pup company while in my home. I can also easily crate your dog or keep them separate from my dog if needed. I have lots of toys they can play with and access to trails if your pup is in need of a long walk.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
