About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life, which has given me a strong understanding of their needs and behaviors. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have also taken care of dogs for family members and friends. Through these experiences, I’ve worked with dogs of many different sizes, breeds, and ages. This has helped me become confident and comfortable handling a wide variety of personalities and care requirements. I am currently a college student, but with summer coming up I have plenty of free time to put my full attention into your dogs. I currently don’t have any pets so there won’t be any issues with encountering other pets. My home has plenty of space to play indoors. I have a fenced in back patio for small outdoor space. My apartment complex is dog friendly with lots of grass, walkways, and dog areas. While taking care of your pet I will be able to stay with them the whole time, and give them full attention while in my care.

About: My first job was walking dogs back in middle school! I also stayed a couple nights at a family friend’s house in order to pet sit while they’re on vacation. I also have a pit of my own named eli, and a bunny named coco :)) I just recently started college, and it’s been a little hard finding a job, so my availability is pretty open, I only have a couple classes throughout the days :)) My dog roams around the house. He’s very friendly and loves to make doggy friends. Since he is a little bigger, small dogs might be intimidated, but he’s very gentle, and if needed, there’s a room we lock our dog in when there’s company :)

About: I have always owned animals, especially dogs. I have experience with boarding dogs, house sitting, dog walking, taking care of cats and even reptiles. I love all animals and I love taking care of them. I know all dog breads and how their personalities can defer between each dog and breed, which helps me meet the fur babies needs. I am currently focusing on school. I’m home all day everyday unless I’m unavailable. I take a lot of pride in making sure every animal that comes into the house feels like one of our fur children. I want to help with the anxiety of being in a new place in the best way possible. I have a lot of experience with shelter dogs who have anxiety and fear problems. I will make sure your fur baby is safe and loved like one of my own. I have cats and animals in cages in the home and would only board in the house if the dog has a good temperament with other cats. I am accepting of all breads and sizes, however I am not accepting of discipline problems. For dog walking if dog is above 30 pounds they must walk without major pulling. (This is a case by case basis and puppies are an exception) Any questions? Call for details! have a runner for dogs to play outside safely. I also have a lot of walking areas and fields for safe exploring! Want to know more? Please ask!

We have used Brooke a few times with Marcy, and each time she provides consistent updates and takes exception care of her. Marcy loves spending time with Brooke which is a testament as she is normally anxious leaving her family. There is always a warm welcome and big smile and fuss when Marcy sees her. Thank you so much for treating her like your own 🫶

About: I’m a huge dog lover and love having them around. I have watched, walked, fed and bathed dogs for past roommates, friends, family and neighbors since I was in middle school. I have experience with all sizes of dogs, grew up raising 100+ lb labs, cared for Great Danes/Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Boxers to Australian Shepherds/Chihuahuas/Mutts. I’ve also volunteered at multiple dog shelters. I work remotely so I’m home all day so I can give your pups attention constantly. I can watch dogs every day of the week and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and also have extra steel blockers around the fence for any potential pups that dig. I do have one older dog that gets along with other dogs and is happy to lay around all day with them.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have a goofy pitbull named Steel that is my pride and joy and loves being around other dogs. I work from home so I have plenty of flexibility to play with your pups, let them snore under my desk as I work or even go for a walk on my breaks. All sizes and breeds welcome! Plenty of experience with bully breeds. I am a twin mom so your dog must be comfortable with small children in the house that may throw a few toys over their playpen to share. I'm currently working from home M-F and have plenty of time to play with your pups! If I need to make a quick grocery store run it's right around the corner and usually takes 40min tops. Saturday mornings we usually take the kids to swim but are only gone for 3hrs. I have a fenced in yard. Baby gates and a crate if needed. Plenty of treats and water bowls. A safe quiet neighborhood for walks to get our steps in. I also love to take pictures so I'll be sure to keep you updated.

About: I grew up in a household full of love for animals, and that passion was passed down to me. I’ve raised many dogs, from playful puppies to wise seniors, and I treat every pet as part of the family — loved, cared for, and spoiled with affection. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy being around animals, whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company. I’m reliable, attentive, and make sure every pet feels happy and safe while you’re away. I’m a mom raising three boys, so caring for others is just part of my day — pets included! I have a flexible schedule and can fit walks, visits, or overnight stays into my routine easily. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. At my home, pets have plenty of space to explore and play! I have a huge, partially fenced yard, and we live off a quiet dirt road with a pond and private walking trails. We can go leashed or unleashed, whatever your pet prefers. I love spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to take walks, play, or just enjoy fresh air with your pets. If I’m caring for them at your home, I always follow your rules and routines to make sure they feel comfortable and safe.

About: As a pet owner, sitter, falconer, and former zoo keeper, a majority of my life revolves around animals. Their proper care and well being is of the utmost importance to me. I have been pet sitting just over ten years, while maintaining other jobs but am now pursuing this full time as a means to help support my growing family. In my free time I offer free snake relocation services; as well as reptile and falconry/raptor education events. I have helped whelp litters, bottle feed, tube feed, hand feed (birds). I’m experienced in medication administration, as well as abiding by special diet restrictions. I maintain a federal falconry license as well as a state sub-permit for wildlife rehab. I’ve cared for everything from birds to reptiles, exotic mammals, wildlife to house pets! There are few animals I’m uncomfortable with and for that reason my rates are adjustable for those with special circumstances! I’ve always felt I had a special bond with animals and I’d love to provide your pet with the same love, care and attention I would provide my own. Pet care is a daily part of my life! Fortunately, I livewoth my fiancee who’s just as passionate about animals and am able to leave my own animals with him when I’m working. Animals have been my whole life and I’m in no hurry to change that. I will always show animals the same love, attention, respect and care that I would show my own personal pets. Truthfully, I’ve never met an animal I didn’t love

About: Hi there! My name is Nicole, and I offer personalized, loving pet-sitting services in my home — where your furry family member will be treated like one of our own. With years of experience as both a pet owner and caregiver, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to keep your pet safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Here’s what makes my home a wonderful place for your pet: ✨ No Rush Walks & Neighborhood Adventures I believe walks should be about joy, not speed. Your pet will have plenty of time to sniff, explore, and enjoy their surroundings at their own pace. 🌳 Spacious, Secure Backyard My home features a large, fully fenced yard, perfect for running, playing fetch, or lounging in the sun. 💤 Cuddles Welcome (But No Couch Rule!) Your pet will be invited to snuggle up in bed at night for comfort and company — but to keep things tidy, couches are off-limits. 👧👦 Family Environment with 3 Kind-Hearted Kids (Ages 1–13) My children have grown up around animals and love helping care for and play with our four-legged guests. Currently, we don’t have any pets of our own — so your furry friend will get our full attention and affection! 💗 Reliable, Safe, and Personalized Care Whether your pet is high-energy or prefers quiet companionship, I tailor each day to fit their personality and needs. You can expect updates, photos, and complete peace of mind knowing your pet is being cared for with patience and love. 📅 Available for Overnight Stays, Daycare, and Weekend Boarding Let me know your schedule and I’ll do my best to accommodate! 🐕🐈 Because I treat every pet like family, space is limited — so I can give each guest the one-on-one care they deserve. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pet as deeply as you do, I’d love to chat! Reach out today to schedule a meet-and-greet or reserve your pet’s stay. During your fur babies visit upon request, we will do a wash down and air dry. Please be advised I do not use tools or trimmers. It’s all about the pampered bath and sending your fur baby home smelling fresh and clean. I work full-time in an office setting during the day your fur baby will be left to roam the home with cameras surrounding or if you would prefer they’re welcome to join me in the office. If that is something that you would like please feel free to let me know in advance. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. When your furry family member stays with me, they’ll be cared for with the same love, attention, and structure that I give my own family. A Safe, Comfortable Environment My home provides a calm, pet-friendly space where your animal can relax and feel secure. We have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe playtime, exercise, or lounging outdoors. Inside, your pet will have plenty of space to rest, play, and be part of our family’s daily routine. To ensure everyone’s well-being, security cameras are placed throughout the home and yard (excluding private areas) for continuous safety monitoring and peace of mind. Individualized Care Every pet is unique, and I tailor care to meet their specific needs. I carefully follow your feeding, medication, and exercise instructions to maintain consistency and comfort. Whether your pet thrives on quiet companionship or active play, I’ll create a routine that feels just right for them. If you prefer, I can crate your pet for naps, meals, or bedtime — or leave them uncrated if that’s their norm. I’m flexible and always follow your preferences for their comfort and routine. Family Interaction & Attention I share my home with three wonderful children (ages 1–13) who have grown up around animals and understand how to treat them with kindness and respect. We currently have no pets of our own, so your furry friend will receive our undivided attention and affection. Boundaries with Comfort Your pet is welcome to sleep in bed at night for extra comfort and closeness. To keep things tidy, we do have a no-couch rule — but there are plenty of soft beds, cozy blankets, and comfortable spaces to curl up and relax. Safety, Communication & Trust I maintain a secure, supervised environment and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and happy. My goal is to make their stay feel like a true home away from home — full of care, comfort, and love.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Huntsville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 194 sitters in Huntsville, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
