About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have a goofy pitbull named Steel that is my pride and joy and loves being around other dogs. I work from home so I have plenty of flexibility to play with your pups, let them snore under my desk as I work or even go for a walk on my breaks. All sizes and breeds welcome! Plenty of experience with bully breeds. I am a twin mom so your dog must be comfortable with small children in the house that may throw a few toys over their playpen to share. I'm currently working from home M-F and have plenty of time to play with your pups! If I need to make a quick grocery store run it's right around the corner and usually takes 40min tops. Saturday mornings we usually take the kids to swim but are only gone for 3hrs. I have a fenced in yard. Baby gates and a crate if needed. Plenty of treats and water bowls. A safe quiet neighborhood for walks to get our steps in. I also love to take pictures so I'll be sure to keep you updated.
“The doggy Daycare sitting couldn’t have been improved upon on any way; she was perfect! She was totally responsive to all of my requests. She made me feel very comfortable when she was caring for my very important fella. All of my requests were fulfilled. She walked him and gave him multiple trips to the dog park. Her personality is energetic and delightful. I absolutely would recommend her anytime. Patricia”

“Jordyn did a great job watching Shiner! She was quick to respond to any questions and sent updates and pictures throughout the day. Shiner came home happy and worn out from playing all day!”

Treats are not just for being a good boy or girl, we love to hand treats out for being the cutest too! “Lexi is an excellent pup sitter in soooo many ways. We have just found out that we weren’t allowed to bring a dog into the Renaissance Fest while visiting for a couple days but I was so anxious about leave my Pebbles at our Airbnb by herself. I found Lexi at the last minute and she was super accommodating and responsive to our needs. My pup came back happy and exhausted and I could really tell she had lots of fun with her three bigger dogs from the pictures she sent. I wish she was our local neighbor that we could use her help regularly since she’s superrrr nice!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly my passion. I have been actively involved in the rescue community for over 10 years and have extensive experience working with animals of all ages, personalities, and needs. I hold a degree in Animal Science and have gained hands-on experience working at a local animal shelter as well as as a pet care technician in a pet store. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and proper care. I am able to care for cats and am very knowledgeable about their unique needs and personalities. I am also able to board dogs, provided they are friendly with cats and children. Since I work from home full-time, your pets will receive plenty of supervision, attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, medication administration, or simply a calm and loving environment, I am committed to providing the same level of care and compassion that I would give my own animals. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and at ease while you’re apart. I work from home full time so I will be on YOUR pets schedule. I do have small children but they have been taught how to be around animals appropriately. They love to play with the animals but will never be unattended with them. I will provide whatever needs YOUR pet needs. They are all different and have different needs and schedules. I allow free roaming. Pets on furniture. Pets sleeping in the bed. Whatever your baby is most comfortable with is what they will get here.
About: Howdy! My name is Madison and I am a total dog lover! I have experience with small and medium sized dogs. I also have two years of experience with fostering dogs and I have been around dogs practically my entire life. The backyard is fully fenced and it is large in size, so there is room to run around and play. We do have a doggy door that your pup can go in and out of. I do require for your pup to be crated during the day when we are not at home and at night when we go to sleep. This is for everyone's safety and comfort. We live in a nice neighborhood, so we can go on walks if you provide a leash and request dog walks. My husband loves dogs just as much as I do, so we will both equally be the care-takers while your pup is under our care. We do have a 3 year old son, so please do not book if your dog(s) are not kid friendly. Our son does very well with dogs as he does not chase them, pull on their ears, tails, etc. We will not book an aggressive breed dog as we are not comfortable doing so. We also have a schnauzer mix named Toby and a Jack Russell terrier mix named Roxi and they are both 6 years old. They get along great with small and some medium sized dogs. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message! I work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pup(s)! Please reach out to me on your scheduling needs as most days I am very flexible due to working from home. I have a fully fenced yard, doggie door, and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I’m a huge dog lover and love having them around. I have watched, walked, fed and bathed dogs for past roommates, friends, family and neighbors since I was in middle school. I have experience with all sizes of dogs, grew up raising 100+ lb labs, cared for Great Danes/Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Boxers to Australian Shepherds/Chihuahuas/Mutts. I’ve also volunteered at multiple dog shelters. I work remotely so I’m home all day so I can give your pups attention constantly. I can watch dogs every day of the week and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and also have extra steel blockers around the fence for any potential pups that dig. I do have one older dog that gets along with other dogs and is happy to lay around all day with them.

“Finding Robert on Rover. Com was a true blessing! We were in town to visit a sick friend and needed a safe place to leave our 3 year old Catahoula for a few hours. It turned out that Robert lived just a short distance from our friends. Brooklyn loved her stay with Robert and his fur babies. They played in the lovely fenced yard and took breaks in the house when they were hot and tired. Robert was so good with her; she had a great time and we were happy to receive pictures of her playing during the day. I highly recommend Robert - he is great! The only downside is that we live so far from him. He would definitely be our go to pet sitter!”

About: I have grown up around dogs and then have raised them on my own as well. I’ve dealt with my dogs getting old and needing extra care, and have also helped my dog birth and raise 10 puppies. I know how to care for dogs, no doubt, but I know how to love on them even more so! ❤️ I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so I am super flexible with my schedule to fit around whatever you and your pet need. In a clients home, I try to keep the pet in as close to the same routine as when you (the owner) are home. Pets get stressed out when their people aren’t there, so I try to comfort them and keep things as familiar as much as I possibly can.
“I was very pleased with Kristina and this visit she kept me informed throughout the entire process and sent videoed and pictures. Fitz looked extremely happy and he received a good report. I will definitely use her in the future. Thank you for everything especially accepting him at such a late notice.”

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
