About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently in college, so while I have a couple of busy days (Mon., Tue., Thur.,) the rest of my week is very free! And I always have plenty of time for sitting. I can easily adapt to your pet’s regular schedule, including mealtimes, bedtime, medication, if they need to be crated, playtimes, etc. The comfort and happiness of your pet is my first focus.

About: I have worked at a Vet Clinic as well as taken care of dogs, cats, and livestock my whole life. I love the animal industry and have always had a passion for animal advocacy! With working in the Vet Clinic I have been able to learn all kinds of things like administering medication, knowing signs of distress, proper cleaning, and many other things. I do student teach on Mondays and Tuesday all day so those days would be longer between being let out! I am currently a college senior at the University of Arkansas. I am currently student teaching at prairie grove high school two days out of the week.
