“So happy we chose Jocelyn to watch our dog! This was our first time leaving our dog behind and Jocelyn sent pictures and made sure she was well taken care of. I was confident the whole time we were away that Sadie was well taken care of.”

“Oh my, what an amazing person! We highly recommend Lark. Besides being so sweet and caring, she is so attentive to your dog’s needs and personality! We used her for boarding and will be definitely use her again if we are in Fayetteville again!”

“At first Rider was not super happy, but Lindy knew to give him his space and he came out of his shell and was finally more himself! I’m so glad she was able to watch him for us while we were on vacation, she kept me updated and I felt like she really cared for him! Definitely recommend!!!!”

“Tiffany was amazing! Less than 8 hours before our flight departed we went to drop our Goose off and the other sitter had another dog she was watching that had attacked goose and neither her or us felt safe with goose staying there for the safety of all the dogs. Tiffany was amazing and within 5 minutes responded that she would be able to help us out and she was amazing. Got adorable pictures daily and she took such good care of him including baths after some play in the mud! If you need a sitter you won’t find a better one!”

“I didn’t expect my cat to do well with boarding. She’s a very anxious creature. A scaredy cat in the truest sense! Christopher and Jennie did everything in their power to make her feel at home, and I know they did a good job because she bounced back very quickly once we got back home, which has never happened with other boardings! She’s been prone to hiding for days after past experiences, but that didn’t happen here. Thanks for taking care of my best friend, guys. She may not have been super receptive to it, but I know she appreciated you regardless.”

“Rebecca took great care of my boy. Her daily updates were thorough. You can tell she genuinely cares about each of the dogs she sits. I know she went above a beyond to make him feel special and loved. She’s probably one of the best Rovers I’ve ever had! I would trust her with any of your fur babies.”

“Erin is fantastic! I felt completely at ease leaving Birdie in her care and never had to worry about her while I was away. She was communicative, attentive, and clearly took great care of her. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Tre was great as always. My little dog always has a great time with her. She always does a great job. I would recommend to anyone needing a qualified caregiver for your pets”

“Iyari took excellent care of our Bitty pup! Bitty has lots of special needs as a very elderly Chihuahua, but Iyari was up for the challenge and did a fantastic job. She provided daily photos and updates and made Bitty very comfortable during her stay. Bitty doesn't always warm up to strangers, but Iyari's sweet and gentle nature won her over and by the time we came back they were friends! I would definitely recommend Iyari to anyone and we'll be booking her services again soon!”

“Casey was awesome!! Kept us up to date on our fur babies with pics and messages. She took great care of them and we didn’t have to worry. We will definitely use her next time and recommend to friends!!”

“Bobby and Sandra kept my mind at ease for the complete time they had my dog. They treated him as there own and provided him with an excellent stay. I never imagined I could feel as comfortable leaving my dog with someone but they exceeded all my expectations. They are wonderful people and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a pet sitter.”

About: I’ve loved dogs forever but didn’t started caring for any until we got our first family dog when I was about 6 years old. Since then, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family; but I’m excited to expand my horizons! I have class M, W, F in the am, but other than that my schedule it totally flexible! Other than the occasional trip home to Texas, I am pretty much always available. My roommate has one female dog that is neutered and crate trained. I have a fenced in balcony with turf and a very nice dog park in my neighborhood. I would love to take your dog(s) on fun long walks to the park or even in the trails down by my house.

“I am extremely pleased with the services provided by Beatriz L. with regards to taking care of our nine month old pup Tanner. On my fist encounter with Beatriz I was convinced that Tanner would be in good hands in a safe and warm environment .During his Five night stay with Beatriz I received text messages with pictures of Tanner (looking very happy) on a daily basis and she was always very prompt with her responses whenever I had a question .I am sure it was a home away from home for a beloved Tanner and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that he was in safe hands!!!!”

“Ty was great! During our meet and greet my boxer took to him immediately! My dog stayed with him for two days and came back to me as happy as when I left him. Ty was accommodating, informative, responsive and knowledgeable! I will 100% rebook with Ty in the near future!”

About: Since a young age, I’ve always been surrounded by dogs and have experience caring for puppies, adults, and seniors. I worked as a veterinary technician for one month (I had a change of heart in career paths!), so I’m confident in administering insulin shots and giving medications. (I also had a senior dog with diabetes that I administered shots to). I’ve walked dogs and dog-sat for several people before joining this app. With two dogs of my own, I promise to treat your fur baby with the same love and attention they deserve! I’m currently a student at the University of Arkansas - so besides a few hours of school every day, I am free to spend time with your pet! For pets in my clients home, I am available to stay as long as needed and will make sure there is plenty of water, food, playtime, and potty breaks provided!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Huntsville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Huntsville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Huntsville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
