This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! She will be my number 1 go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my cats in the future!”

About: Both my wife and I have had pets since we were little. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and love spending time with them all. I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. We have a comfortable, fenced in backyard and a cage for inside if needed. We have 2 friendly dogs that have been around plenty of other dogs with no issues, and always love the extra company. Our 2 cats also get along well with dogs, and have always been around them.

About: I have been caring for the pets of my friends and family for over 5 years, and worked for a pet boarding facility for over a year. I’m a college student studying to be a veterinarian who wants to gain more experience working with pets. I have also completed the dog handler academy online training course for my last job! I am currently a college student who is able to take the time between and after my classes to care for pets. This also leaves my weekends completely open to focus on pet care!
