“Theo loved staying with Allison & Nicholas. He’s a very social dog, and they had lots of play companions for him! Theo was taken care of very well and I will definitely use them again when I need a sitter!”

“Alexander & Jaycee were absolutely incredible and took phenomenal care of my dog. They have a lovely home and perfect yard for exactly what my dog needs / is used to. And my dog actually became friends with their dogs (shout out to Stormy)! I would highly encourage anyone looking to let them take care of your pup! I’ll certainly be a repeat customer 😊.”
“Azure did an amazing job watching our pups! They had an amazing time! Loved the updates and pictures/videos while we were away on our trip! She really cared for our dogs and they loved her - even our one that is a little hesitant of people. They always seemed to be playing and were very happy pups - they had their own vacation too!”

“We loved boarding our Everitt with Cory. He was very in tune and experienced with dogs and how they act and was understanding of our young dog’s behavior. When we picked her up we could tell she was well cared for and happy with her stay. We would use him again and would recommend him to anybody that is looking for somebody”

“Mindi did a great job. Gizmo needed extra care due to his age she handled it like a pro! Gizmo needed meds and used an inhaler and had an ear infection at the time. I highly recommend Mindi she is very attentive and takes special care when dog sitting!”

“We left our two girls with Jennifer over a weekend for a wedding we had to attend out of town. The girls were well taken care of, and had a blast with Jennifer! She sent frequent updates with photos, and was great in communicating before and during our reservation for overnight care. Our girls stayed in her home and were treated like family. Her place was well-equipped for the dogs. Would highly recommend to any pet parent in Fort Wayne!”

“Hannah and Haley did a great job with my baby! A perfect fit for Jamie's separation anxiety, since he was never home alone, and he came home a very tired baby after playing with Hannah's dogs all weekend. He didn't seem to want to leave!”

“April and her family were great hosts for our dog. Finn got much attention. I appreciated the photos April sent as well. I knew Finn was in good hands. Thanks.”

“An even better 2nd booking experience. Nan and her family and little Henry are really good to my baby boy. She is really a Nana to him. She even knew to take him for a walk to help him use up his excess energy, which I thought was awesome. He is SUPER energetic. I highly recommend and Kai and I are now official return clients!”

“Every time our dogs stay with Kristen and her family they leave happy and healthy - we know they LOVE getting to spend time with Kristen, her family, her pets, and the other Rover doggos (new friends!). Kristen is also so lovely to work with - we’re so grateful for the ways she cares for our pups like they are her own!”

“Agnatha was amazing. We did the meet and greet while my dog, Cookie, was in perfect health. Unfortunately that evening my dog would need emergency surgery. My hotel wasn't refundable and I was worried about leaving my dog who now had to wear a cone and take medication. But Agnatha said she would be perfectly fine taking care of Cookie post surgery. When we picked Cookie up she was happy and healthy.”

“Rebecca is fantastic. My doggo loves hanging out with her. She gives him lots of walks, attention, and hang time, while following our outline for his specific needs. He’s very calm and happy with her.”

“Wonderful and attentive care givers for my senior dog. I received daily updates, they were perfect! We were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home, she received so much love and attention!”

“Heather was kind as was her family. Our dog had a great time with Heather and another house guest dog. He slept like a baby when he got home as he was worn out from all the fun!”

“We were so lucky to have connected with such a great family at the last minute when our original sitter fell through. They helped him get warmed up with a meet and greet and then our 3 month old pup was excited to go back the next day to stay. He found his home away from for a week and was sad leaving his new friends. Diana and her family took great care of our boy while we were on vacation, helped house train him, and taught him a few commands. It was nice having peace of mind that he was in good hands and getting updates and pictures while we were missing our fur baby. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!”

“Millie and her family took great care of our dog Buster! She is super attentive and communicates really well. She sent us updates twice a day with pictures. She was very flexible with our schedule which was so much appreciated because we were coming in from out of town. We could tell when we picked Buster up that he was very well cared for! Overall so so great!! Definitely recommend 100%!”

About: I have cared for indoor and outdoor cats. The most I have cared for at one time is 8 indoor cats. Including a big boy that needed to be separated from others during feeding time.
“My kitties are usually the kind that hide with strangers. They came out every time Mariah dropped in to check on them , and she sent pictures!!!! I would definitely use her again . Thanks again !!!!”

About: My very first pet was a beautiful long-haired cat from the shelter; after finding out she was pregnant, we named her Momma Luna! She gave birth to 4 kittens; I was a lucky kid. I have babysat for kittens & adult cats alike. I have also had community cats come to my backyard for food & attention. I’m comfortable lavishing them with attention or leaving the grouchy ones alone, whichever they prefer!
About: Hi! I’m Alexis an avid dog lover. I have two pets of my own, and lots of experience with animals. I am pet first aid and CPR certified through Purdue university, I have 5+ years of dog training and behavior experience, and I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for 1 year and gained valuable animal husbandry and care skills. I’d love to hangout with your pup! I run my own pet brand where I work from home so I am able to host dogs, or come visit your pup any day of the week and anytime. I can make my schedule fit with yours! I live in a good neighborhood where we can take leashed walks, or drive to a nearby park to play. I can crate dogs or let them free roam, I have two other dogs to keep your pets company or I have the ability to keep them seperate if that’s what’s needed. For in home visits I can do anything you require!
“First time using the Rover service and our first time away from our pet for such a long duration. Franki was an excellent communicator, went above and beyond spending her time with our dog in his own home so he would be comfortable, and we're so thankful for her! Great experience and our new go-to option if we need to travel!”

About: I’ve had cats off and on since I was 3. I grew up in a very pet friendly home and continued that in my own household. Now that I’m pet-free, I love spoiling other pets in order to get my “animal fix”.

“Taylor did a wonderful job taking care of my girls. I received a picture every day and that reassured me that the girls were doing okay. I will definitely be having Taylor watch my girls again!”

“I had a great experience with Cruz. He followed all of my instructions and was so sweet, patient, and caring with Astro and Lola. He spent time playing with them and made sure they were well taken care of. It made me feel so much better knowing they were in good hands. I would definitely book with him again and highly recommend him! 😊”

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life. Whether they were my own cats or just neighborhood cats, I’ve always been the one feeding them, taking care of them, and somehow becoming their favorite person. Everywhere I’ve lived, including where I live now, there always seem to be outdoor cats that I end up looking after. It’s like they just know I’m a cat person. I had my own cat for 15 years, and losing her recently was really hard. Right now, I don’t have a cat of my own, so getting the chance to spend time with and care for someone else’s cat would honestly mean a lot to me. I really miss that daily connection and all the little things that come with having a cat around.
“Amazing! I have a disability that makes keeping up with my litter boxes. Charity has come over almost every week for a year and a half. She is flexible with scheduling if something comes up, she is efficient and thorough, she is very personable, and even my grumpiest cat has come around to her. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Tracy is the BEST! He’s punctual, he puts in plenty of time with my sick pet, he even notified us when it was obvious someone had been in our house (our roofer). Book with Tracy!”
“Angie took great care of my fur babies. One cat doesn’t take to people right away but that changed with Angie. Wanted to be petted and very talkative. I highly recommend Angie.”

“Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! She will be my number 1 go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my cats in the future!”

“Alexis is absolutely awesome! She does such a great job watching Brutus and always makes sure he’s happy, safe, and well cared for. You can tell she genuinely cares about him, and that gives us total peace of mind. Brutus loves her, and we couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with him. Highly recommend Alexis to anyone looking for someone reliable and amazing with dogs!”

“Rebecca took great care of my dog! She was kind, responsive, and made my nervous dog feel safe and at home during her stay. I would highly recommend and will be using Rebecca’s services in the future if needed.”

“This was my first time using Rover and it could not have gone any better! Agnatha was extremely responsive. She allowed us to do a meet and greet and also a short trial run before Bobby’s first day with her. She sent lots of pictures and videos for reassurance. Bobby was very comfortable at her house and did so well! Bobby loves her and I know she loves him! We will definitely be using Agnatha again!”

About: Hi I’m Hannah, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to a German Shepherd! With over 10 years of experience caring for family and friends pets and 2 years working at an animal boarding facility. I can’t wait to meet your pet :) I work a full time night shift job so I am home during the day. My sister works first shift so she is home during the night so no pets will be left alone :) I’m flexible during the day so walking and pet sitting are available as well! When caring for pets in my home, I treat it like their second home, making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, from feeding schedules to playtime, ensuring they get the attention and care they’re used to. I ensure your pet feels calm with unfamiliar surroundings. I’m there to give them all the love they need while you’re away!
About: I've had dogs my entire life! I love dogs and treat them just like family! We also love to take pups on walks and play. I am home for the summer with our daughter. I am able to dog sit during the week, over the weekend, and overnight as well. We have a fenced in yard to keep the dogs safe. We also live in an area that is great for walks multiple times a day.
About: I have experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to senior and those with special needs. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. I have also raised and house-trained two puppies into adulthood, who are still with my family today! One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). We had his DNA tested, so we can now confidently confirm his impressive mutt status. His high energy and intelligence required consistent training and socialization. After raising him, it's safe to say that I'm comfortable with puppy routines, basic obedience training, and how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs. What sets me apart is that I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality and comfort level so they receive the best care that fits their individual needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Emily took such great care of Onyx and kept me completely at ease with thoughtful updates and adorable photos throughout the day. It’s clear they genuinely care and go the extra mile. I felt so comfortable knowing my pup was in such kind, capable hands and had some furry friends to hang out with and enjoy the day - thanks Dodge and Baker!! We will definitely be reaching out to Emily in the future and already booked her care for our vacation next week!”

“Amazing! Bell loved it here and she had plenty of time to play and other pups to play with! Amara was amazing! She was very accommodating and sent me lots of photos of Bella!!”

“Absolutely love Anne, I never have to worry about our pup when she's with her no she's in good hands She always takes great care and spoils our dog! Great communicator great personality responsible!”

“Lyndsey did a great job with our dog, Daisy! The pictures she provided were super cute and it felt good to know that someone was watching her while I was at work and my husband was away. I will definitely re-book with her should we need doggy daycare in the future!”

“Heather was very welcoming and great with the girls. She took time to get to know them and spent most of her time with them. They loved her baby bunny smelling back yard. I would definitely take them back.”

“Alexis is absolutely amazing in every way, upon first meeting her I could tell how kind hearted she was making it calm my mind of any worries that one may have leaving their fur babies with a stranger. Since Max has been going to Alexis he absolutely loves it, he had friends to play with and she makes sure they get plenty of play time and sends me updates throughout the day. At first Max would try to leave when I left after dropping him off, now he doesn't care about me when I drop him off. When I come to pick him up he is excited to see me but doesn't want to leave his friends. So I must say thank you Alexis for taking such good care of Max and giving him the love and care that I would while I'm at work I truly appreciate you and all that you do.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 18 years old. I am not intimidated by size or breed of dog or cat. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. I currently work part-time at a park on Thursdays and Fridays and/or when someone needs coverage. I also attend church on Sundays. Otherwise I am available all days. I treat the animals as if they were my own. Play with them inside and outside when weather permits. I enjoy cuddling with them and enjoying their company.

About: Dogs have had a tremendous impact on my life; I’ve trained & owned dogs for the last 20 years. Currently I own a Yorkie mix named Mayhem who loves motorcycle rides & fetch! Over the years I’ve helped strangers & friends with training & general care of their fuzzy babes. Pitbulls, labs, poodles, dobermans, tiny terrors & more. I try to add structured fun & exercise to any dog I encounter, paying attention to the dog’s personality & confidence level. A tired pooch is a happy pooch. I currently work nights, so I am flexible during the weekdays before 4pm to help let your dog have fresh air while you’re at work! And for nightshifters, I can let your dog out late in the evening because I naturally stay awake until approximately midnight to 2am. My true availability (I’m unable to modify the calendar to reflect this) is Monday & Tues available all day/night, Wednesday & Thursday between 7:45am to 4pm, Fridays before 2:30pm, and Saturday & Sundays I’m generally unavailable but open to requests on a weekly basis (especially if we have an established relationship). I am flexible & will do what you think is best for your dog. I am used to staying calm under pressure & providing a reassuring presence for your dog. I’m especially good for dogs which need a physical outlet seeing as I lead an active lifestyle with lots of running, walking, bike riding, hiking, etc.
“She was fantastic with our Winston. He took right to her and couldn't wait to see her everyday. She has a special gift with animals and it helped us out alot with our little guy. Very dependable and trustworthy pet sitter. I would recommend her to everyone. She was a 10 in our book.”

I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. We have a comfortable, fenced in backyard and a cage for inside if needed. We have 2 friendly dogs that have been around plenty of other dogs with no issues, and always love the extra company. Our 2 cats also get along well with dogs, and have always been around them.

Me and my husband and son love taking care of pets. We all help out with walks and drop ins. We love to take walks with our pups, play games with our cats, and snuggle with all of the above! But I have a lot of availability and willingness to care for your pet at your home or do dog walks. I have experience crating my pets, taking walks on leashes, and play time in a fenced yard. I can adapt to your pet needs and follow all necessary safety protocols.
“I was so nervous leaving our beast of a dog, Titan. He is tricky due to his deplorable past and emotional issues, but gentle with us. Tracy was calm and positive and it sure seems like all went quite well! We will use him again. We did not worry. Thank you, Tracy!”

I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. I do have 2 cats in my home, so I can only board dogs who are cat (and dog) friendly. Otherwise, I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your dog(s).

Thanks.”

“Isabelle and Casey were amazing in taking care of Koji and Misty! They sent us lots of photos and kept us updated on everything they were doing. They even checked with us before leaving the dogs alone for a quick errand, which we really appreciated. They also have a sweet dog named Pepper, and Koji became friends with him right away. On top of that, they have a beautiful home with big backyard with plenty of space for the fur babies to roam around, play, and feel comfortable. Thank you so much, Izzy and Casey, for taking such wonderful care of Koji and Misty. We truly appreciate everything you did and wouldn't hesitate to book with you again!”

“Wai was amazing! She took a lot of care to ask lots of questions to best accommodate our dog, sent us daily updates and photos, and far exceeded what was expected! I will be using her from now on”

“This is the first time we used Jami for our dog Lexi. Jami is very prompt with her responses and very friendly. She sent daily updates. Our dog had a great time and was very happy when we came to pick her up. We will be using her again and would recommend!”

“Emily did a wonderful job watching our 8 month old Golden Retriever puppy - it was our first time to board him and a little tough to do. She sent us several pictures over his 2 night stay - he was romping in her fenced in back yard with two other younger dogs, having a great time. (Bailey misses his new friends!). We will definitely have Emily watch Bailey again!”

“Alexis was fantastic. She provided daily photos and updates, kept me informed about how Bella and Coco were doing, and even reached out when Coco wasn’t eating to make sure she got the right care. Highly recommend!”
