We left our Baxter with Tyler for a trip that was a little over two weeks. It was a long time to be away from him but Tyler kept us updated with pictures and videos. Baxter went on lots of walks and got lots of treats and love. We’d definitely use Tyler again.

I had Nichole watch my dog Bowser for a weekend, and I will definitely be back! She did a wonderful job of communication, sending photos and videos of her time with Bowser. She even took him on a road trip to run errands, which he loves! She has a fenced in back yard so I was very comfortable with the activity that Bowser could get just outside the door. Thank you Nichole!

About: I’ve had animals all my life, and would watch my friends pets growing up too. I’ve had everything from giant breads to little dogs and love them all. We have cats and dogs of our own. So it is part of our daily routine for feedings, potty breaks, and going for walks. We treat our fur babies as part of our family and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve! We have a fenced in backyard, and our dogs are friendly. We also have the space to make sure they feel at home and welcomed.

She was wonderful and very caring. My chihuahua is a picky eater and went off her feed. Hannah drove to the store to buy a rotisserie chicken to mix into her kibble (my dog loves this) to help her eat. How sweet is that? Hannah also sent me a picture or a text every day for the week I was gone. Very pleased with her love and care for my dog.

Parker was amazing! She was so kind and so sweet with my doggie! No one has ever gotten her to feel comfortable enough to eat after just meeting, but Parker somehow got her to not only taste her food but to eat all of it! I am so so thankful! If she is willing to watch her again I'd be more than grateful! Thank you so much!

About: I was a dog mom for 16 years to my beautiful baby girl. We went everywhere together. Literally everywhere. In that time I was also the vet tech, groomer, trainer, personal Vizsla chef, bone delivery girl and I became a professional tennis ball and flippy flop launcher. I have significant experience in puppy/baby dinosaur stages all the way to senior care. I have experience with rambunctious pups that may have a minor injury, allergies and medication administration. I sadly lost my girl a few years ago and have been keeping friends and family's pets since and I've loved getting some puppy snuggles! I am currently working as a nurse and I work one week on and one week off. In my weeks off, I have plenty of time to go walking at the park or hang out at home. My home is very dog friendly and allowed on all couches, chairs and beds. I have an orthopedic dog bed also available and lots of toys! My yard is partially fenced in with no gate on either end. All pups will be leashed when outside the home. No exceptions.

I’ve used Karina to take care of my big dog (Max) and little dog (Daisy) during Memorial Day weekend. Karina was good about keeping me updated with photos and messages letting me know how they were doing. I felt so relieved that my 2 dogs were in capable hands while I was away. I highly recommend Karina, I know I’ll use her again, soon. Diana C.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
