I have significant experience in puppy/baby dinosaur stages all the way to senior care. I have experience with rambunctious pups that may have a minor injury, allergies and medication administration. I sadly lost my girl a few years ago and have been keeping friends and family's pets since and I've loved getting some puppy snuggles! I am currently working as a nurse and I work one week on and one week off. In my weeks off, I have plenty of time to go walking at the park or hang out at home. My home is very dog friendly and allowed on all couches, chairs and beds. I have an orthopedic dog bed also available and lots of toys! My yard is partially fenced in with no gate on either end. All pups will be leashed when outside the home. No exceptions.

About: Hi, I’m Gwen; I live in South Pittsburg, TN, I’m 58, a US Navy veteran and I have 3 dogs that I adore; 1 dachshund and 2 Chorkie’s. To me, a home isn’t a home without a pet. My dogs are my family and I love spoiling them. My neighbors trust me so much with their Yorkie, that when they go out of town which is at least 2 times a month, they bring their fur baby to me and I keep and care for her as if she were my own pet. Their dog loves my dogs and I so much that my neighbors can’t even say my name because she’ll run to their door wanting to come to my house. I’m a trustworthy person, so your pet and your house will always be safe and cared for by me. About: I have taken care of animals since I was young. I have always had animals of all kinds- from reptiles to furry friends. I have a dog now and she is my child. I also used to work at a dog boarding facility as well. I am doing rover until I can open my own- which is my dream! I do this full time and I have a part time job but that is only a few days a week! I would take them out according to your schedule and feed them-according to their diet. I love working with animals and I assure you they will be treated as my own. I also stick to their schedule. About me: Raised in the country surrounded by both family pets and farm animals, caring for critters is second nature to me. I am a doting grandma who lives too far away from my kids to see my grandchildren so I channel that attention toward my Australian Shepherd, Gumbo, and my new puppy, Boo, the Yorki-Poo. After I lost my husband and best friend I found the best way to cope is to help others and keep busy. If I can help you out with your dog or cat while you're away, let me know. I can use the extra income but also I need to feel useful. I keep my fee low. Tips are appreciated. I board at my home in the country near Dukedom, TN. Think of boarding here as bringing your dog to Grandma's house. There will be some spoiling and if pet parents permit, homemade dog cookies! Currently I am home all the time. Your dog will be with me and my dog while here. Gumbo (30 pound neutered male) likes to play fetch or frisbee and we do this daily. I feed my dog early morning (6-7) and early evening (6-7). I give a lot of outside time when weather allows. I give my dog a lot of attention and your dog(s) will get the same. We are a pack and your dog will be part of that pack when he/she stays with us. I live on 6 acres near Dukedom, TN. My large backyard has a chain link fence. If your dog likes to play ball or frisbee this is a great yard to do it in. In addition to the backyard, I have a large field that I keep a path mowed around just for walks but to go there your dog(s) must have excellent recall or be leashed trained very well. I don't want to be pulled around or have to struggle to hold them. Dogs really like going to the field. "No" is the word I use to stop misbehavior. If there is a different word you use, let me know. It is good to know what words/phrases your dog recognizes. It'd be great if you write those down and give it to me. I have carpet throughout my living quarters so PLEASE only housebroken dogs. I give numerous long outdoor time between 5 AM to 9 PM. Potty breaks are every couple of hours. Your pet must be vaccinated! Bordatella vacs are recommended every six-to-twelve months. if your dog frequents places with other dogs, get 6 month vaccine. My dogs are vaccinated. In the warmer months, it is very important that dogs have a flea and tick preventative or have some defense against these nasty bugs because both are out here. I keep grass mowed but they still get on the dogs so make sure they have a preventative. My dogs wear clothing treated with Sawyer flea/tick spray and I have had great success with that method along with a monthly prescribed medicine. Bring your pet's food/bowls/treats along with feeding instructions. Filling out pet profile in depth on Rover helps tremendously! It has an area for vet info and anything I would need to know about your dog can be on their profile! Gumbo has dog toys that he shares but if your dog has a fave, bring it. If your dog must sleep in a bed or crate, bring it. Sometimes a sweater or anything with your scent on it comforts a dog that misses his/her owner. You're welcome to bring that. If he/she has a brush that you want me to use, bring it. I can brush dogs but have no proper facility to bathe. In the summer, I have a small dog pool to cool off in and plenty of shade in the backyard. NO cell service out here so I do not carry my phone with me. I check my messages several times thru the day but I'm not like most that have their phone on them. It does me no good. Many rural people pay for cell service despite not getting it at their homes. I have a landline that works providing my internet service works. If there is anything else you need to know, do not hesitate to ask. I have my profile set to only take in three dogs at a time. I have two so I think five is enough. I am very attentive so rest assured I am keeping a good eye on them.

About: I can even file your pups nails down or trim their fur if needed. I can't do any fancy dos but I can help keep them brushed and bathed and trimmed! I have dog clippers with guards, hair dryer and a table for small dogs. I can bathe and dry large dogs but not yet equipped to groom any medium or large dogs. I'm currently not working so I'm pretty flexible on hours, only thing I can't do is over night but I can come tuck them in for the night and come back immediately in the morning! I do in fact have a fenced in yard if you have a sociable baby who can deal with my 5 lb "alpha" boy but if preferred I can walk them at home or even come spend time daily with them. Whatever you need you let me know and we will work it out.

About: I have been training a variety of dog breeds for 15+ years! I study different breeds of dogs while working with them in order to understand their behavior. I have specialized in leash and obedience training! I love working with large breeds so do not fear that your pup is too big for me! I have raised red and blue nosed pits, American bull dogs, Rottweilers, German shepherds, huskies, and Great Danes! I adore them all! Hi, I’m Gwen; I live in South Pittsburg, TN, I’m 58, a US Navy veteran and I have 3 dogs that I adore; 1 dachshund and 2 Chorkie’s. To me, a home isn’t a home without a pet. My dogs are my family and I love spoiling them. My neighbors trust me so much with their Yorkie, that when they go out of town which is at least 2 times a month, they bring their fur baby to me and I keep and care for her as if she were my own pet. Their dog loves my dogs and I so much that my neighbors can’t even say my name because she’ll run to their door wanting to come to my house. I’m a trustworthy person, so your pet and your house will always be safe and cared for by me. Give me a chance and I’ll show your fur babies love and attention and even spoil them if they aren’t already. Fur babies make life so wonderful. I’m semi-retired but am available most anytime to care for your fur babies. Since I do live in South Pittsburg, TN; I do charge $2.00 extra per mile if you’re located outside of my 20 mile radius because of the mileage and gas prices. About: I've grown up with dogs & cats the past 29 years. Animals tend to take to me very well and it's about their body language. I have open availability besides Sunday mornings. I can work with you on time of day whether morning, afternoon or evenings. Whatever works best for both of us. I do meal times, fresh water always, potty time, play time, exercise time, loving time, bonding time especially for first time pups, also helps me to get to know their quirks. I may bring them on hikes & other activities can be discussed. With my own fur baby, she loves to play and frolic in the snow. I feed her a rice, chicken, greens, frozen fruit and salmon oil diet since I’ve heard kibble can be equal to fast food. She loves walks & trail hikes.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was young. I have always had animals of all kinds- from reptiles to furry friends. I have a dog now and she is my child. I also used to work at a dog boarding facility as well. I am doing rover until I can open my own- which is my dream! I do this full time and I have a part time job but that is only a few days a week! I would take them out according to your schedule and feed them-according to their diet. I love working with animals and I assure you they will be treated as my own. I also stick to their schedule. If they eat at a certain time or have medicine at a certain time I foll ow that! I will go to the clients home for pet sitting. I love dogs especially. I have a baby girl and she’s my everything. About: I’ve taken care of my own personal reptiles, Bruce(leopard gecko) and Wayne(Bearded Dragon), for the past few years. I also had my pit bull pepper, and two terriers named Kirby and Steve. I love all animal, fur or scales, and you can trust that I will love your fur baby as much as you when you aren’t there. My schedule can more around a little, so I’m always free before 3 pm or any time after 3 pm. I am very flexible and can help to accommodate with what you need for your pets! I have a half acre backyard, with clean, low cut grass, and minimal risks. I have a large home with plenty of toys, a great neighborhood for walks/runs, and the ability to keep up with the more energetic type while still being able to calm down and relax with the chilled type of pup.

I reside in Covington Tn, with a huge fully fenced in yard, and doggy door with a smaller side yard for doggies only. I can also travel to your home for let outs so that your baby is in the comfort of their home. I foster a dog here and there. (If needed i can keep separate with separate play times and out side times, ect. ) I have a little mini farm with horses, a mule, a blind calf, two LGD's, two pet pigs, and one barn cat. About: I’ve had animals all my life, and would watch my friends pets growing up too. I’ve had everything from giant breads to little dogs and love them all. We have cats and dogs of our own. So it is part of our daily routine for feedings, potty breaks, and going for walks. We treat our fur babies as part of our family and make sure they get all the love and attention they deserve! We have a fenced in backyard, and our dogs are friendly. We also have the space to make sure they feel at home and welcomed.
About: I was a dog mom for 16 years to my beautiful baby girl. We went everywhere together. Literally everywhere. In that time I was also the vet tech, groomer, trainer, personal Vizsla chef, bone delivery girl and I became a professional tennis ball and flippy flop launcher. I have significant experience in puppy/baby dinosaur stages all the way to senior care. I have experience with rambunctious pups that may have a minor injury, allergies and medication administration. I sadly lost my girl a few years ago and have been keeping friends and family's pets since and I've loved getting some puppy snuggles! I am currently working as a nurse and I work one week on and one week off. In my weeks off, I have plenty of time to go walking at the park or hang out at home. My home is very dog friendly and allowed on all couches, chairs and beds. I have an orthopedic dog bed also available and lots of toys! My yard is partially fenced in with no gate on either end. All pups will be leashed when outside the home. No exceptions.
