“Remi is a wonderful care taker. After our initial meeting, I knew she was the right person to care for my senior dog. She even visited with my gecko. Remi will be my go-to person for future needs. I strongly recommend her!”

About: I am a compassionate life long animal lover. I’ve worked in animal hospitals with large boarding facilities, as the lead kennel technician, as well as being a veterinary assistant. I spent my days playing with and caring for other people's animals. I am able to give medications and tend to special needs animals. Though I left my hospital job when I moved here at the beginning of the pandemic, I've chosen to continue to work with animals because it is something that comes naturally to me & I feel that it's important to love what you do. I look forward to meeting new furry friends! I now have a fairly open schedule so I am mostly free to work with new clients to meet their pets needs and keep a consistent routine 💜 I am happy to hang out and get cozy with animals that aren’t up to outside playtime, and I love being outside with those that do have more energy! My parents currently have a puppy and I visit daily to have play time and help wear him out a bit (bc it’s so fun!).

As I have said before, I understand the struggle, stress and worry of leaving your pet at home while you're at work. I have fully experienced with my own dogs especially in our high fire danger area. About: I grew up around dogs my entire life, we’ve always had various pets in our household from bunnies, rats, ferrets to German Shepard’s, pit bulls and chihuahuas. I’m always home on the weekends, usually just chilling in bed watching movies, or go for a nice walk on the beach or in downtown. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions! *Please do not book with me if your dog cannot be left alone during the day. I work from 6a-3p during the week and I have a small apartment so I cannot have them barking the entire time I’m gone. Thank you for understanding* I do work during the weekdays but I work close to my home so I can always come home on my lunch to give midday potty breaks if needed. I have a consistent schedule and am usually home by 3/4pm. Dogs are kept separated when I am not home and I also have 24/7 camera on my apartment so I can always keep an eye on the dogs when I’m not there.

“My kitties were so happy with Jillian they were sad when she left. Sunny and Shadow had shiny coats from brushing. She fed them lots of tests at night. She sent many updates through the day depicting their walkabouts around the property. I felt like I was there with my cats at home from all the updates! I would highly recommend her services if are feeling nervous about leaving your home and fur babies. She was compassionate and was professional with her communication. I am so happy my cats had a friend to cuddle with while I was away. 😃”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and even more exotic pets in both urban homes and rural off-grid environments. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or administering medicine, I treat every animal as a unique being with their own personality and needs. Friends and community members often turn to me for pet care because they know I genuinely love and respect animals as soulful companions. As an entrepreneur with a flexible schedule, I’m available for daytime visits, overnight stays, and extended care. I work remotely and manage my own hours, so I can easily tailor my availability to your pet’s routine—including last-minute needs or irregular schedules. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. I offer a calm, loving, and secure environment where your animals can feel safe and at ease. I take time to learn your pet’s specific needs, preferences, and routines to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in your absence. I’m attentive to behavioral cues and quick to adapt to ensure trust is never broken. Whether we’re enjoying outdoor play or snuggling indoors, I create a grounded and peaceful space for them to thrive.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

It's been one of the best jobs I've ever had. I've spent a lot of time around puppies so I do have some skills in puppy training and use positive reinforcement with treats as my personal preference for training. I also have a lot of experience with cats and have one myself. I really love taking pictures/photography so I'll be sure to send you quality pictures of your fur babies while I'm with them! I do pet sitting/house sitting part time but my schedule is really flexible since I work mainly from home. I'm free most weekdays and weekends! More than likely, I will walk your dog in your neighborhood. But I do love to go on long walks/hikes so if you're open to doing a 60 minute walk or over night stay, I'll make sure to take your dog somewhere fun whether it's to a local dog park or to the river!

“It was our first time using Rover. We are very happy with Anna’s services over the weekend. We enjoyed the rover cards with pictures - it was good seeing how well our kitty was doing with Anna’s visits. I’ll definitely rebook Anna whenever we go out of town. Thanks so much for giving our kitty lots of love!”

About: Starting at the age of 12, I began volunteering at local animal shelters (Truckee Humane Society) as well as dog sitting for local Tahoe families. I am a huge advocate for taking time out of the day to get your pet exercise whether that be a leashed walk on a paved trail or an 8 mile hike into the wilderness. I work full time however, I am able to bring well trained social dogs to work. If you prefer for me to not take your dog to work, I live 10 minutes from my home so it is very convenient for me to let your dog out multiple times throughout the day! I love to take pictures of the adventures I bring pets on and keep the owner/owners updated. My friends would definitely describe me as a HUGE animal lover! I have references upon request.

Natalie S.
“Natalie is a natural dog lover. She indiscriminately cares for all pooches, regardless of their size or breed. She is firm with them when needed, but spoils them with tons of love and treats, almost as if you're at your grandparent's house as a child. Natalie has a large house with plenty of land to let the dogs run around on. She is great about taking dogs to the lake or on a hike. From first meeting Natalie, you can tell she is a natural dog person with tons of love to give.”
