Cheri was excellent! She helped me out big time with a last minute overnight stay, and lilah loved her time there. You know you have the right sitter when your dog can't wait to get in the door when you are dropping them off

Celeste was very friendly and responsive when wanting an update on how Coco was doing. She was very thorough with questions about Coco's eating schedule, walking habits, and the little details on how she acts. She took her on walks plenty of walks. Also, can't thank her enough, she allowed me to extend Coco stay for an extra day due to my brother wanting to stay out of town longer.

About: Animals have captivated my heart; they are magnificent creatures that trust and love us no matter what. I treat our pets like children. We are a home based business that allows me to socialize them on a daily basis. I have worked at several animal care facilities over the years and learned a lot from them, so I am well-educated about animals. I started this business by prioritizing proper sanitation/care and safety procedures. My entire career has been animal-based; starting at 13, I began volunteering at shelters and stables. My first job was as a bather at a grooming salon; the lady taught me how to groom. My third & fourth job was at a vet hospital; I have probably done it. If you put that all together, I have decades of experience with animals. I adore animals and love what I do. I do not work a second job, taking care of animals is my main priority. Because I don't work a second job I am able to give my full attention to every pet on daily basis. I have an outdoor area for the Pets to use the restroom several times a day. We have a large 3500 square-foot building that can house 80 small dogs a day. I take pictures and videos daily and upload them to our Facebook page for owners to see how their babies are doing. I have worked at several veterinarian offices that have had me in kennel cleanup and so I do know the proper handling disinfecting and safety procedures that need to be performed daily.

About: I have lifelong experience fostering dogs of all ages and breeds, giving me patience and understanding for both energetic puppies and gentle senior dogs. Living on a farm has taught me how to care for dogs, cats, and many different animals —so I’m confident handling pets of all kinds. I provide reliable, loving care with plenty of space for exercise, play, and attention, ensuring every animal feels safe, happy, and cared for like family. I am currently a senior in high school, however I get home fairly early and would still have plenty of time to care for your pets! Weekends I am always free and during the weeks usually the mornings and late evenings. I provide a safe and secure environment with a fully fenced yard and extensive acreage, including an additional fenced area for extra protection. Your pet will always be cared for in a safe setting. I am also flexible and happy to provide care either at my home or yours, depending on your preference. I have experience with farm animals so don’t hesitate to ask!

About: Howdy! I have primarily watched my siblings and neighbors pets. I love animals and will take care of your pet to the best of my ability! I am a full time nurse but I typically work 3-4 days a week. My schedule varies so really just depends on what your needs are. Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Hubbard home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Hubbard.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Hubbard sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
