“We are happy to have trusted Carly with checking in on our cats while we were away. She kept us updated with photos and let us know how our pets were doing. We would be happy to use Carly again for drop in visits.”

About: We provide dependable, loving care tailored to each pet's personality and needs. With patience, attention, and genuine compassion, we make pets feel safe, comfortable, exercised, and happy while their owners are away. We are semi-retired couple that have been in the area for over 8 years. We have plenty of time and experience to care for your pets. For hosting your pet at our home, we have an 8 year old hound dog mix that is unbelievably chill and he always loves to meet other dogs. We do have an extra large crate already if your dog requires/likes to be crated.

“So thankful that Amanda was able to keep a check on our pooch while we explored the Blue Ridge area! Don't hesitate to book with her if you need some pet love for your furry friend. :)”

“Taylor was excellent! He took great care of our senior cat, Jos, who can sometimes be very prickly around new people. He showed up on time, made sure Jos was fed and his litter boxes were cleaned, and followed all the directions we left for him. Taylor was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, and I would definitely book him for pet care in the future.”

“My husband and I had planned a trip to andrews. We first booked with someone else and they canceled on us after we had already booked $250 tickets for the railroad. I found Amanda and she was happy to do a visit for us. She cared for 2 of my boxers. She took pictures, and made sure they went to the bathroom and walked. I was so relieved I could count on them being taken care of while gone. She is very reliable and i would contact t her again if we are ever in that area!”

“Thank you Katirna for the wonderful care you gave to our kitty cat. We appreciated the photos you sent of him and that you even brought a package up to the house that was left at our gate. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pet and give you peace of mind, Katirna is your person!”

“Showed up and did everything, very respectful of my space and my pets. It’s always a stress wondering if someone will be reliable especially with your pets while you’re on vacation. I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of pet sitting.”

She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. I understand your home is your sanctuary, and I aim to leave it as if I was never there. All poops are bagged up and properly disposed of immediately. I send pictures of your pets happy and healthy during every visit.
“Delaney is a true superstar! I left her with her hands full and she did everything I asked! She even took extra care with my kitten who had a health problem as well as has a great time with my pups ? 1000000% recommendation and will use her again!”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. My mom worked in different animal shelters and boarding facilities my whole childhood, I always loved going to work with her when I could. We often fostered dogs and cats taking care of them until they found their forever home. I have watched my friend’s and family’s pets for them often as an adult. I am new to Rover, but I am excited to help out people in my community and confident that I will have plenty of positive reviews in no time. I am an elementary school teacher which means Monday-Friday I am at school until around 4pm. Otherwise I am available and home with the pups 😊 I have a fenced in back yard and a doggy door which will allow your pup outside access whenever they need it. If they need to be crated while I’m not at home let me know, otherwise they can have access to both the yard and inside the house while I’m away. I do have two dogs of my own, Winnie is a dachshund and Bella is a beagle. I also have a cat named Muchacho who is indoor/outdoor.. he comes and goes as he pleases. They are super friendly with dogs and cats, but if your pet isn’t just let me know and I can make sure they are separated during the visit. I will be sure to adhere to any feeding schedules or special requests.. I would want anyone watching my babies to do the same.
