About: I have 2 senior dogs with special needs so I'm familiar with administering medicine & the extra care that older babies need. I've cared for many dogs & cats over the years and love them all! I'm currently working part time in the afternoons. I have my mornings, evenings & nights open to help care for your pets while you're away. About: Ever since I was 10 I have had experience taking care of animals. At one point in time we had 26 animals throughout our house that we had to care for. I take pride in caring for animals because they are a true joy and blessing in this world. I also have a dog of my own who is very well trained that I have had for 7 years now. I have quite a lot of free time. Therefore, potentially walking and taking care of your pets will not only give me something to fill my time with but also give me immense enjoyment! Any scheduling conflicts you may have won't be a problem for me! My house currently does not have a fence, however I will gladly walk your pets on a leash if need be. I have a lot of experience with animals and have no problem walking or putting your animals in a crate if it is what is needed.

She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. She successfully worked for Trusted Housesitters but has switched to Rover for more local opportunities. I work remotely part-time and have a flexible schedule that can meet all of your pet's individual needs. 24/7 care and attention for your animal! I understand your home is your sanctuary, and I aim to leave it as if I was never there. All poops are bagged up and properly disposed of immediately. All water drops or pee piddles are cleaned up with pet-safe sanitation spray. The door locks are always double checked upon departure. I send pictures of your pets happy and healthy during every visit.
