“Awesome dog sitter. Highly recommended. Moriah is very professional prompt and trustworthy. Treated my dogs as if they were her own. Easy to communicate with and friendly. A+++++ Will definitely be using again.”

About: I raised my dog Rocky from when he was a puppy, so I’m experienced in caring for pets of all ages. I’ve pet sit many times before learning about Rover. Every pet is different, and I’m prepared to do my best to meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe a routine is incredibly beneficial to pet care, which is why Rocky is part of my routine. If your pet is staying with me they will be feed and walked first thing in the morning. Potty breaks throughout the day for pets with more frequent needs. Then second feeding and walk at approximately 6:30 pm. If I’m sitting at your place, if your pet has its own routine we will follow it, if not I will adopt a routine based on the environment. Previously, my house was a 3 dog 3 cat house. After some relationship changes, it’s just me and Rocky. Rocky is completely submissive, although he’s a Goldmation he very much embodies golden retriever energy, and gets along with pets of all shapes and sizes (like I said, 3 cats) When sitting at your house you can be sure that both your home and pets will be cared for. Cleaning is one of my favorite activities, so you might find your house is even a bit more tidy than you left it. And Rocky is very low maintenance and stays home when I pet sit, meaning that if you want me to spend as much time at your place as possible, I can do that.
“Abigail has been very helpful with our puppy! She met with us before doing a drop in visit. She made sure she knew how to take care of him and provided play and love while we were out. Will definitely use her again!”

About: Have your mind at ease when I'm taking care of your animal. I have 5 years of experience of kennel technician, also know CPR for canines. And also worked at a doggy facility which has doggie daycare grooming and boarding facility. Pet Care is 100% fits into my daily routine. I have four of my own that I love dearly with all my heart. And I would treat my clients pet the same as if they were mine. You will have 100% relaxation while you're on vacation or a job trip when I am taking care of your animal in house. I have four of my own and I love them dearly. And I would treat yours as my own with 100% respect and your property as well.
“Today was Nikki's 2nd visit with our king shepherd lucian. He absolutely loves Nikki and how she is with him. She's caring and loving and playful. He has lots of energy and loves playing and for her to teach him things. I look forward to her future visits with him. I'm very proud that we requested her to come and interact with him.”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my fur babies in Spencer's care. He took the time to get to know them so they would be comfortable when he came to the house. You can tell Tiffany and Spencer both have a big heart for animals. I am very grateful to have them help out.”

About: I have taken care of many pets over the years. We always had a dog or two when I was growing up. My girl(Gracie- Beagle) is a senior and my other dog (Maui- Bernese Mountain Dog) is a big teddy bear! I work 4 days a week 7am-5pm. So if your dog would be ok in my house while I’m at work I would love to have them! I am home Friday- Sunday though if you need a weekend sitter or daycare! Let me know if your pet is crate trained or if they normally stay out in your house! I have a fenced in back yard! But I do prefer for pets to be house trained. One of my dogs stays in a crate during the day when I have to work because he tears stuff up. I also only take one client at a time in my house unless you have more than one dog! I prefer not to mix multiple pets together that don’t know one another.
About: My name is Joseph, and I have been dog sitting for extra money since I was 16. I'm very passionate about animals and would like to build this into a full time job. When boarding your pet or dog sitting, I provide the basics, food, medication, clean litter box, etc. However when I've gone out of town before and left others to look after my pets, my main concern is they get love and don't feel abandoned. I like to go the extra mile and make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable from the moment you leave until you're reunited again. I like to give them lots of attention and affection, play with toys, do tricks, etc. If you're looking for someone to care for your animals needs plus a little extra, I'm your man.
“My first Rover booking ever and I could not have asked for a better person to look after my cat. Faith is very knowledgeable, caring, and charismatic and I would easily recommend her services to anyone I know.”

“This was the first time we had someone drop in that the dogs didn't know. Our youngest dog was not welcoming at her first drop in visit despite meeting her ten days prior. She worked with him and he ended up in her lap the second visit. She was great to our dogs and great to us. We would highly recommend Brandi and will use her services again. In fact, we have already booked her again. Thanks Brandi.”

“I cannot recommend Rose enough to take care of your animals! She did a phenomenal job checking in on my 2 dogs, went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of and was accommodating to some last minute changes/booking that she was able to work into her schedule. Can’t thank her enough!”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
