“John saved the day with coming over earlier than anticipated for an already long 2.5 week trip. He was responsive, communicative, and had a great calm energy- which was needed with my nervous pup. He won the nervous pup over within a day- and the photos with the happy wagging tail proved her allegiance had shifted. It was our longest trip away from the pets, but John made it easy for us with his updates. He even let us know when it looked like the pups were running out of a supplement we had just started giving them. We arrived home to 2 happy dogs and 1 ambivalent cat, all clearly well-fed and taken care of. We have already have asked John to watch the pets again next April. I am so grateful to have found John and will recommend him to our neighbors and friends when they need someone to house sit. Thanks, John!”

About: I have taken care of a wide range of animals my whole life. I was raised by two loving parents who work for the department of environment. I have always been more close with animals and have always done my absolute most to make sure they are taken care of. I have three dogs of my own two large ones and one small one. We also have two cats and some other animals. I cannot wait to meet yours. I’m currently a full time student and part time worker at the mall. I currently tend to two of my animals and have found the time to fit yours in as well. I can be available early in the morning to late at night. I make sure all my animals are in very safe hands and make sure they stay preoccupied. I always make sure to have as much patience as needed and stick to your schedule.
“Palma was on time, gave all necessary medications, sent photos, and left the house cleaner than she found it! She communicated well. Our babies were in great hands. Thank you Palma!!”

About: I have and do care for my dog and families dogs over long periods of time; including family friends dogs with medical needs at their own homes overnight I am able to check on animals before and after work shifts, and with ample advance i can arrange my work schedule to meet the needs of dogs routines and their owners I myself have my dog mostly kept indoors, and let outside on a leash within a large backyard. Family friends dogs were watched heavily and let out with supervision, even in large fenced in yards

About: I frequently pet sit for friends and neighbors, and it is something I greatly enjoy! I have a cat of my own and I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I am a college student who also works part time. Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays I have completely free, and Mondays and Fridays I have about half a day free each. I am very flexible to clients’ needs regarding pet care. Their safety and happiness is my priority. I try to keep their routine as similar as possible to normal, while giving lots of care and attention to their needs.
“Carol and Tony are such a sweet couple! I love that I get two sitters for the price of one. They were professional and caring towards my energetic pups. I will definitely be calling on them again.”

About: I am as reliable, flexible, and obsessed with animals as they come! Having grown up helping my parents with their petsitting business, I am experienced and familiar with the ins and outs of caring for other people's pets and homes. I also have three cats of my own who are the loves of my life, and have lived with several wonderful dogs over the years. As a long time Rover user, I know all too well how important it is for a sitter to send timely, thoughtful, and detailed updates after each visit. I strive to provide the same level of communication that I'd hope to receive about my own pets because I know how much this helps put your mind at ease while you're away. In addition to the services listed on my profile, I'm eager to help out in other ways that you might need - watering plants, receiving packages/bringing in the mail, etc. I'm happy to discuss this in more detail if there's anything else I can do for you. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! :) I work part-time with a very flexible schedule, and do not plan on traveling for the foreseeable future. The flexibility in my schedule allows me to accommodate last minute bookings under most circumstances. I currently cannot care for pets in my home, as I unfortunately do not have the space needed to provide this service to customers right now.
“Victoria was amazing! Took great care of my old gal and our house. Lots of pictures and feed back during her stay and even on Christmas. I would trust my Gracie with her any time!! Thank you Tori!! We can wait to have you stay again.”

About: Hello Neighbors-I'm a mom, wife and dog caregiver. I've owned, trained, and shown dogs my entire life. My dog Remi is a certified therapy dog who used to visit the VA. I love all types of dogs especially the sporting and smaller ones now. Leader of our pack( Remi’) is a herding dog and keeps our pack in line. Luna will follow him anywhere, they still play together like puppies even in senior years. I have a large fenced in yard -on a pretty pond in a very rural quiet area. I believe in positive rewards, training and plenty of exercise and love with all animals. Dog care and training is my part time career now. I enjoy the exercise and walks on the many trails in south county. Safety comes first, my yard is an acre of fun on a lake- completely fenced in. These days I usually come to your location for service. Please detail your pet’s special needs and plan by messaging or talking over phone about your specific needs. Looking forward to meeting you and your animals. If your dog is trained I can provide stays or plays at my fenced in backyard. Otherwise care is at your home. Walking can be from your home or possibly close on scenic trails.
“If I could give 10 stars I would! Elizabeth is absolutely amazing with pets and I highly recommend having her care for your pets. She was so engaging with all of my animals and sent pictures and updates, she’s incredibly kind and genuinely cares for your animals. She even came another time for me when I asked last minute and she was more than helpful to us. I am very grateful I found her and her services and will be using her again. Thank you so much Elizabeth!!!! ~Alyssa, Ben, Lili, Max and Lana <3”

About: Mason and I have both had pets our entire lives, there has not been a single moment in my life where there wasn't a pet in the house. Between the two of us, we have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, mice, hamsters, Guinae pigs, and even a little experience with birds. Though new to Rover itself, we have housesat many times for family and friends, taking care dogs and cats as well as chickens and even turtles. We live with my parents and their two dogs and two cats, whom we take care of when they go out of town. In addition to this, we are also pet parents to two adorable bunnies Motzi and Popo who my parents care for when I house sit. Mason and I are both in school, but work opposite shifts when not in class, so your furry friends will never be home alone for long periods of time. We are avid hikers and love to walk, so an active puppy is no problem for us. We both love animals and have extensive experience with a variety of pets and their personalities and would love to get to know yours! As pet parents ourselves, we know it can be difficult, and sometimes scary leaving them with other people for a time, but you can trust that Mason and I will provide thorough, loving care for your furry friend(s)! Mason works early morning into the afternoon and I am currently in college. When I am not in class, I have full availability with your pets, so your furry friends will never be home alone for very long. On a typical week, Mason and I both leave the house at around 6:30 or 7 am depending on how our commute may be where we are staying. I am usually back from school before noon and will spend the rest of the afternoon with your pets! Once Mason is home from work, we both take care of your furry friends. We will always do our best and move our schedules as much as possible to ensure that pets are not home alone for extended periods of time, especially young puppies or kittens as we know how adorable, yet mischievous they can be 😂! We are very flexible when it comes to the care of your pets, they are your pets after all! Whatever needs to be done for them, we got you! If for any reason, we think the job may require more time than we have to give, I will gladly let you know so that your pets will receive the care that they need and deserve. As lifelong pet owners, we have experience will mischievous puppies and kitties who get into stuff they shouldn't, as well as older pets who may need a little extra attention when it comes to things like food and medications. I have had many pets, and know how different their personalities and needs may be, and we are very comfortable catering to specific needs of your furry friends whether it be behavioral or medical.
“Victoria was a wonderful fit for our chihuahua, whose behavior is very typical of his breed! She kindly let our machismo-man get comfortable with her and won him over. She understands dogs, followed our requests, and was respectful of our home- the perfect guest! The peace of mind she offered us was priceless and we are looking forward to Victoria sitting Remy in the future. 5-stars!”

“Kiera was amazing! My pets love her and we do, too! She responded quickly to my request and showed up as scheduled for a meet & greet. We got feedback on our pets' status while we were gone and, despite telling us that she had another engagement on the day of our return, we arrived home to find Kiera walking our dog "one last time". Our house was clean, mail and packages were brought in and, best of all, our dog was calm & happy when we arrived home after an extended trip. Thank you, Kiera!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was very young. I watched my own dog and her siblings as well as neighbors or friends dogs many times. My dog Maggie actually passed away last year so I have plenty experience with senior dog care and puppies as well. Maggie was a medium-large dog and was 14 when she passed we loved her and made her as comfortable as possible until the end. I've also watched friends and neighbors cats as well so I have experience with both pets! I have class most mornings at 8am so i'm up early and I finish class early! I'm available monday, wed, friday at 11am and my sundays and thursdays are free so i'm available all day!!! I don't have a fenced in yard but plenty of space within the home and a good location for frequent walks! I can crate dogs if needed in your home or stay/watch them while outside, whatever needed.
