House Sitting in Hope Valley

“We are visiting from out of town and needed a sitter last minute. We have two rescue dogs who are sweet dogs but don’t warm up to strangers quickly. After reading Zoe’s profile and knowing her exposure to dogs of many temperaments, we felt confident that she’d be a good sitter. She absolutely was. She responded promptly to the request, arrived on time, and sent an update with photo. We would definitely love to have her sit our pups again. If pups are happy, so are we!”

About: I am currently a student at New England Tech in the Veterinary Technician program. I’ve worked at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists as a technician assistant for a year now. I’ve owned dogs for as long as I can remember. I have raised puppies and said goodbye to them as seniors. I know how to give medications safely and correctly if needed. I know how to handle crazy puppies and couch potato seniors. I love all types of dogs equally and have a deep passion of working with them. I am currently a college student and working part time at an emergency animal hospital. I do have multiple hours in between classes and work on most days to take care of your pets. I also can do homework from anywhere so that makes my schedule more flexible. I wouldn’t be able to have animals come to my house because I do have animals of my own but I would be glad to go to your house and take care of your pets. I follow directions easily and ask questions if i’m not sure about something. Feeding and walking schedules are easy for me to follow no matter how complicated you might think it is. I can give medication as needed and I have many tricks up my sleeve to get them to take them without fear. I work at an emergency hospital so IF an emergency ever occurs I know exactly what to do and where to go.

About: I’ve spent 6 years working at a puppy store dealing with temperaments of 50+ different dog breeds. At this work place I groomed puppies, fed them, cleaned up after them, and gave them tons of affection! I also have personal experience with administering pet medication, as well as dealing with deaf canines. I am currently a college student attending class Tuesday through Thursday. While I am not available those days, I do have a lot of free time on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. There is always at least one person in my house at all times. I have a good size fenced in yard with plenty of room for the zoomies! I have a golden retriever and cocker spaniel that love making new friends. I do also have 2 cats, but they can be put away if needed.

“Our two huskies are special needs (epileptic) and one still had cone on from surgery and Emily took great care of them for two weeks. She stayed at the house with them making sure they stayed on their regular happy schedules. I’m sure they will miss her!”
