About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

Blythe was very accommodating. She took us as a fairly last minute booking since we had a funeral and my previous sitter had just moved away. My pickup estimate was off and she was kind enough to keep Grokii an hour or two longer than expected even though it coincided with putting her kids to bed. Her kids are absolutely adorable and I know Grokii was doted on because he slept almost the entire next day. Great family - highly recommend!

Kathy is amazing. Isabel can be timid when she goes to a new place, but she walked into Kathy's like she lived there. Made it much easier to leave my fur baby for daycare.

Jennifer is friendly, helpful, and did great with my boy. He was very happy and seemed like he made himself right at home. I got plenty of updates and pictures during his stay and she was very understanding and helpful even when I needed help last minute. I brought him back for a second time and he got super excited as we were pulling up so he must’ve loved it there ❤️

About: I have loved and cared for many types of animals since childhood and have had two Beagle babies of my own for almost 10 years now! I will care for your pets as if they are my own. My communication and close attention to detail helps me to follow specific instructions, and as I am very particular about my pets - I understand how to ease the worries associated with someone else caring the way you would. Frequent updates and pictures is the way I roll so you won’t have to worry about a thing. Flexibility is everything to me, also being a caretaker to a grandparent, so if you are not sure if I am a good fit… let’s talk about it! My schedule is a balancing act but I am lucky enough to work from home, which allows me more flexibility with seeing and caring for my furry friends. I understand some things happen in life and I would love to help where I can! I will care for your pets in the exact manner you request, along with extra love, doting, attention, patience and empathy. Trust is everything when it comes to what you love, and my goal is for everyone to have the best experience.

Animal Experience While I have worked with hundreds of animals, here’s a quick overview: ✔ Dogs & Cats – All breeds, sizes, and temperaments. ✔ Exotic Pets – Reptiles, amphibians, rodents, birds, and more. ✔ Farm Animals – Goats, cows, ducks, chickens, quail, and more. Pet Safety is My #1 Priority Your pet’s well-being is my highest concern. Meet My Pack! 🐶 Maeve – A friendly Golden Retriever who loves socializing with all animals. 🐱 Aella, Akron, Asper & Arsen – My wonderful Bengal & Siamese mixes, all trained and well-socialized. Why Choose Me? ✔ 10+ Years of Animal Care Experience ✔ Background in Zoology & Advanced Pet Handling ✔ Custom Care Plans for Each Pet ✔ Emergency & First Aid Certified ✔ Fully Insured & Trustworthy Pet Care Let’s Connect! I understand the stress of leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I am here to provide peace of mind while ensuring your furry, feathered, or scaly friend receives the love, attention, and professional care they deserve. I have a highly flexible schedule and can accommodate last-minute changes as needed. Since my college coursework is asynchronous, I can adapt my work to fit around your schedule seamlessly. As a business owner who manages my own time, I prioritize reliability and responsiveness, ensuring that your pet’s needs are always met with the highest level of care and attention. Commitment to Quality Care in Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, I strive to go above and beyond to ensure both your pet's well-being and your peace of mind. If I notice anything out of place or in need of tidying, I’m happy to help—but always with your prior approval. I understand that personal preferences vary; some clients prefer to handle certain tasks themselves, while others appreciate the extra assistance. My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
