“We are so grateful for the love and affection Saleha and her boys have given Sepia. Saleha was very understanding towards Sepia's initial anxiety (around people and other dogs). She sent us videos and photos of Sepia every day and made sure Sepia was comfortable and happy during her stay. I couldn't recommend this family enough; if you're looking for a go-to Rover family, this is it. Will 100% book again!”
“Tammi’s the best! We have a Malinois that we needed help with. Our girl, Nymeria, can be a handful as a high energy, high drive pup. It’s pretty tough to find someone who understands her and we feel we got lucky finding Tammi. She did some training with her and helped us address behavioral issues. She communicates very well with us and is happy to answer any questions. We’ve definitely noticed the progress in Nymeria when it comes to jumping on people, waiting for direction, and how to behave/play with other dogs. She also loves playing with Tammis pup Ollie and usually comes home very tired. We’re definitely going to continue to book with Tammi.”

“Great experience with Stephanie. Super friendly and accommodating. My senior dog Chloe (17) requires a little extra attention and I felt that Stephanie care well for her. Will return with her in the future. Thank you !!!”

“Maverique is young and very large. She loves people and other dogs, but is also excitable when entering a new situation. Breanna handled her very well and I am very pleased with her services.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Jilma. She took my dogs in on very short notice and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I really appreciated how communicative she was, she sent regular updates and tons of adorable pictures that completely put my mind at ease. It was clear my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time. I’m so grateful for her flexibility and kindness we’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾💛”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing! She communicated with us every step of the way and made us feel so at ease by sending pictures and videos of our fur baby. She was incredibly accommodating to our needs and very attentive. Stella clearly felt right at home and definitely made a new friend—we can’t wait to visit Jessica again soon! Highly recommend! 🐾💛”

“Paulena was an amazing sitter for our dog. We received regular communication and felt comfortable that our dog was being taken care of. I highly recommend and would use her services again in the future”

“Abigail was great with my pup! She was able to watch him last minute and was even able to take in my sister’s dog last minute. She provided pictures and updates during their stay. I will definitely be requesting her services in the future :-).”

“Super thankful for how well Demelia cared for my dog while I was away! The photo and video updates were such a nice touch—I could tell my fur baby was having a great time. I came back to a happy, relaxed dog. Will definitely book again.”
“She truly loves dogs and is very attentive to each one and caters to individual needs. My dog is extremely high energy Husky/Australian Shepard mix and she did an excellent job ensuring that she was kept busy and got her energy out. She sent pics and frequent updates. Definitely will use her again because Luka came home happy unlike her last sitter she was acting weird for a week after.”

“Very responsive and friendly. The home was clean and well secured. I was provided updates and pictures multiple times a day. Highly recommended. Thanks”

“Finn is always so excited to go to Luzi’s house! He is 100% spoiled when he stays here. We have daily updates and can easily communicate with Luzi when needed. Luzi goes above and beyond to make sure Finn is comfortable and happy. Thank you!!”

“Our pup's second stay here and he had an absolute blast! He gets plenty of activity with the other dogs, plus one on one attention and cuddles from Vincent and his wife. We will definitely continue to take our boy here.”

But now , we go away with no guilt - and that is huge for us as we don’t have to worry if Skye is being treated with love , patience and care . Jen is a lifesaver !”

We will definitely be using their services again soon. I recommend to everyone that you should board your Dog with Darryl and Janice.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Homeland
Sandra took care of our pups on an overnight stay. Her house and backyard are very pet friendly. Sandra kept us to date with photos and how the day was going. They ate well, even Jax who is the pickiest. That let me know they were comfortable there. I appreciate Sandra cherishing our pets as much as we do.

Tammi was awesome! She took great care of my Koko Bean. She was very attentive, professional, and super nice. My pup was super happy when I picked her up, so I know she was well taken care of. Thank you Tammi! We’ll definitely use her service again in the near future.

Diane was the best pet sitter I've ever hired. She listens, asks great questions, and communicates daily when requested. She treats the pets as if they are her own. The home was amazing and her dog Duke was a great playmate for my two dogs. I highly recommend booking with her!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
