“I can’t say enough great things about Jilma. She took my dogs in on very short notice and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I really appreciated how communicative she was, she sent regular updates and tons of adorable pictures that completely put my mind at ease. It was clear my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time. I’m so grateful for her flexibility and kindness we’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾💛”

“So thankful for Stephanie! She suggested a meet and greet which was great! Gave us a chance to see Katie in those surroundings. Our Katie gets anxious when we leave but with Stephanie we knew she'd be taken care of. We were able to go out of town and not worry about our girl. Stephanie sent photos so we could see how Katie was doing. Gave us peace of mind.”

“They did great with my puppy. They Spent time with her and played with her. Sent videos every day showing what she was doing, which I really appreciated. I would have them watch my dog again.”

“Jessica took very good care of our puppy, Po. She was attentive and caring, made sure we felt like he was in the best of hands. We loved the videos and pictures she sent us every day.”

“Demi was amazing. She made our pup’s stay so special with plenty of activities and time with friends. She sent us lots of pics and videos throughout the day. Will definitely be sending our pup to stay with her again. ❤️”

“Sandra is truly the perfect pet sitter. Chloe and Spencer received so much love, attention, and care while I was away. I appreciated the frequent updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Both of my fur babies ate well every single day—something any pet owner knows isn’t always the case when boarding—so I knew immediately they were comfortable and happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sandra again and again. She’s amazing, and I’m so grateful for the care she provided. I will definitely book with Sandra again—highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Cheyenne! I asked her to watch my dog literally at the last minute and she immediately responded and accepted. She went above and beyond by picking up my dog which I was so grateful for. I have used her before when I needed boarding. She will be my first choice every time moving forward. I know my dog is in good hands with her and is being cared for like she is part of their family. I highly recommend Cheyenne.”

“Luzi is our #1 go to sitter! Our pup now sees her home as his 2nd home. He is happy and well taken care of while we are away. Thank you for taking care of our pup and giving us a worry free trip!”

“Edith was fantastic!! We left our 16 year old dog with her for a week and were super nervous because we were hundreds of miles away, but Edith gave us so much peace of mind and constantly sent us updates with pictures and videos! Our little dog looked so content and spoiled! I would highly recommend trusting your pets with Edith! Thank you so much!”

“Truly caring and so comforting to know my babies are well taken care of while I am away. I receive lots of funny pictures of the pups when she watches them which I love! Recommend without hesitation ☺️”

“Our first time booking a dog sitter and we had an amazing experience with Rachelle! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe watching our little girl, even through a very late (middle of the night) pickup. She also sent pictures and updates all day. Definitely will rebook with her when we need a sitter in California when we visit our friends.”

“Tammi’s the best! We have a Malinois that we needed help with. Our girl, Nymeria, can be a handful as a high energy, high drive pup. It’s pretty tough to find someone who understands her and we feel we got lucky finding Tammi. She did some training with her and helped us address behavioral issues. She communicates very well with us and is happy to answer any questions. We’ve definitely noticed the progress in Nymeria when it comes to jumping on people, waiting for direction, and how to behave/play with other dogs. She also loves playing with Tammis pup Ollie and usually comes home very tired. We’re definitely going to continue to book with Tammi.”

“Darryl & Janice went above and beyond, truly exceeded expectations! This was our first time ever leaving our dogs with someone and our first time using Rover. They took the time to explain to us how it worked, reassured us with our concerns, they were patient and understanding! But the cherry on top that made this experience AMAZING was the report cards, certificates and bow ties they gave Zeus and Boo! They made this experience feel like they were staying at grandma and grandpas house and were spoiled! Thank you for your kindness and caring for our babies we will absolutely be returning!”

“As a first time cat owner, we (my husband and I) were very unsettled about leaving her with a complete stranger. We needn't have worried. Kimberly was truly the "cat whisperer" for both my cat and us. Kimberly sent pictures communicated with us every day. We really can't thank her enough. She even trimmed Lollipop's nails!”

“Melissa and Richard are best. My dogs are my babies and they really do go above and beyond when it comes to watching them. They send pictures/videos everyday and for sure let you know how they’re doing and adjusting. Really puts your mind at ease. 10/10 recommend.”

“Debbie was super sweet and caring for Lorenzo! She gave great updates with photos and videos! She even got Lorenzo a new harness after he chewed his old one up. Very grateful for Debbie! Thank you again!”

About: I care deeply for animals of all kinds. I used to own a cattery years ago. I have had animals all my life. I have been petsitting regularly for family members for years. This is going to be my full-time job. I am home every day, and I walk my dog 3 miles every morning. I have very flexible schedule. We have a big fenced backyard. I always keep the pets I babysit with me at all times. I am an animal lover and treat each pet as my own. We have child gates in the house to block off certain areas for safety reasons.
“Hank seemed to have a great stay with Rob and Chief! Hank can be an anxious guy but we could tell through the video and picture updates that he quickly became comfortable. We just moved to the area 5 months ago so we’re a bit nervous leaving Hank with a new sitter but all of the pics and videos let us know that Hank was in great hands!”

Fantastic! Made sure our pup was comfortable, fed and cared for. This was our first time using rover so we weren’t sure what to expect but Sandra made it such a great experience. She gave daily updates with pictures which was very comforting. When we came to pick up our pup he was not stressed at all and seemed very happy—which says it all.

Tammi was awesome! She took great care of my Koko Bean. She was very attentive, professional, and super nice. My pup was super happy when I picked her up, so I know she was well taken care of. Thank you Tammi! We’ll definitely use her service again in the near future.

Diane was the best pet sitter I've ever hired. She listens, asks great questions, and communicates daily when requested. She treats the pets as if they are her own. The home was amazing and her dog Duke was a great playmate for my two dogs. I highly recommend booking with her!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
