“Jess was terrific! This was a last minute booking and the first time that we used Rover. It was a great experience all around and I know our puppies were happy to have a visitor drop in while we were out.”

“Magnum was super happy to have a first visit with Laura! He did so well eating and playing. He can be shy so having him comfortable right off the bat made us feel great. Thank you!”

“Christa is the best! She is so nice to help taking care of Toba for a last minute request. Our boy Toba was still recovering from diarrhea and needs probiotics for a few days. I was worried about this situation happened right before our trip. She is so patient for this extra care. From our first meet I just felt right that I can trust her! During our trip we received a lot of pictures and detailed updates from her. We can tell Toba really enjoyed meeting her and the walks! She really took a good care of my boy. We came home with a fully recovered and happy boy and felt so grateful for Christa’ s help! Christa is definitely the one you can fully trust with your little family member! We will have her back next time and highly recommend her to all!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I was a child, living with no less than 3 dogs at a time growing up, including other animals such as rabbits, Guinea pigs, turtles, bearded dragons, diamond tale doves and my current dog and cat. I’ve rescued 2 dogs from SPCA and trained them to be happy, healthy, content companions. I’ve taken care of cats, reptiles and dogs for neighbors in my hometown for over 10 years. I have experience with puppies and new litters so I’d be able to help out with that as well if needed. Everyone in my household is an experienced animal lover/owner as well :) I’m currently out of work and home for now so I have quite a bit of free time to help out with the local pets in need! I can coke for house visits in the day to feed, walk or entertain your pets as needed. Id be willing to stay and play with them a bit and or walk them.
“Danielle is great! We had her do drop in visits with our dog and she communicated with every visit. Our dog enjoyed her visits and was such a happy boy when we returned, I know it was because the was happy and taken care of!”

“Tasha takes our two dogs Cody and Tobey for walks every week. Cody is a difficult one as he is a large yellow lab who is older and grumpy and can be aggressive. Tasha is patient yet persistent when it comes to caring for him. Her pictures and texts about the results of the walk always make my day.”

“I am so thankful and appreciative for the care Mary and Ginny provided to my two cats. This was the first time we needed to find care for them and I couldn’t have been happier with finding Mary and Ginny. They made me feel completely at ease with leaving them behind and I know that they loved them the same way we do. One of our cats needs medicine and it felt like such an inconvenience to ask someone to take on that responsibility, but Ginny and Mary made me feel so much better about the situation and I am so thankful to them for that. Thank you again Ginny and Mary. It meant the world to me to know they were okay while we were gone 💕”

“Sharyn did an excellent job caring for my girl while I was away. My cat warmed up to Sharyn quickly and was friendly with her. Sharyn followed all of the instructions that I left, including water, feeding, and litter box cleaning. In addition, Sharyn played with Bella and gave her attention. About: I’ve had all kinds of animals my entire life, so being around pets and taking care of them has always just come naturally to me. Right now I have two of my own, and they’re truly like my kids—I treat them with a lot of love, attention, and care, and that’s exactly how I approach every pet I watch. What really sets me apart is how seriously I take that responsibility. I don’t just “watch” pets—I treat them like they’re my own, or how I would want someone to treat mine. That means making sure they’re not only safe, but comfortable, getting attention, exercise, and sticking to their normal routine as much as possible. I’m comfortable with all types of pets—high-energy dogs that need long walks and play, as well as more laid-back or older pets that just need patience and a calm environment. I pay attention to behavior, mood, and the little things, because I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your animal. At the end of the day, I just genuinely love being around animals, and I want both you and your pet to feel completely at ease while you’re away. have an open and flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the week and on weekends. Pet care easily fits into my routine, and I’m able to accommodate a variety of needs, whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or last-minute requests. Since I provide care in your home, my goal is to keep everything as close to your pet’s normal routine as possible. I know how important it is for pets to feel comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and making sure they feel safe while you’re away. I treat your home with the same respect I would expect someone to treat mine. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk routines, medications (if needed), and any specific preferences you have for your pet’s care. Safety is a top priority for me. On walks, I stay alert, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure your pet is always secure. During drop-ins, I make sure doors, gates, and anything that could pose a risk are properly handled before I leave. I also believe communication is huge, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages, photos, and how your pet is doing so you can have peace of mind. At the end of the day, I treat your pet like my own and your home with respect—you can trust they’re in good hands.

Holmeson cat parents share their Rover experiences
Alex takes truly exceptional care of animals. My cat Zaffy is normally jumpy and skittish, but with Alex she was completely at ease.. she’s an animal whisperer who builds trust and loves spending time with four-legged friends. I always know Zaffy is in the safest hands, and the studio-grade photos Alex sends are an added bonus; proof that my fuzzball is having a better vacation than I am. 10/10 recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.
