About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind, from my family dog to my friend’s dogs with special behavioral needs. About: Diagnosed with allergies in childhood, I didn’t have pets until in my 20s, when I picked a week-old kitten from a litter & raised him. Thelonious used to walk between my shoulders as I moved around the house, and slept in my bed. Friends told me he behaved more like a dog than a cat—very affectionate. We were very close. His death broke my heart & I still miss him. Seven years ago, I did cat-sitting for a friend whose apartment in NYC I stayed in for a summer while working nearby on Varick Street. He was a very easygoing cat. Years later, my stepson left his dogs at our house & I was their primary minder. I fed, walked & played with them every day. About: Currently available as needed. Would provide play time, multiple potty breaks, and walks with my own dogs! Have large yard and tons of toys. I previously worked in a vet office, so giving medication is not a hassle. Dogs can do as they please while supervised. Working in a vet office has provided knowledge of basic cpr, how to help/ prevent a choking incident and how to orally give medication as well as administering vaccines and or insulin. About: Hi my name is Micaela and one thing about me is that I adore animals! I love all animals so very much. I also feel that I work really well with them. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Most of my dogs have been big dogs so I’m pretty good with handling any challenge that’s thrown my way. I’ve had more aggressive and protective dogs as well as laid back dogs and I’ve loved all. I’ve also worked at local shelters in my hometown and felt that that helped me gain more experience working with varying animals. I trained a couple of my dogs from a young age and though I’m not certified I felt that I did a pretty good job. I’m very patient and very genuine. I also watched my dogs whenever my parents would go on business trips which was quite often so I’d say this is the perfect job for me! I’m a college student but have majority of my classes online so my schedule is pretty clear. I love being outdoors and in nature so dog walking is right up my alley. I also love just chilling at home so I have no problem with that as well. I will always be respectful of others space especially if they are allowing me to stay in their home and watch their animals. I would say I’m a pretty neat person and don’t mind cleaning up if anything is needed. Genuinely it makes me happy to help others around the house if necessary. I used to babysit for a while and would always tidy up when I could find the time. I recently moved and now live with my grandparents and mom. We also have a chocolate lab who’s very energetic and loves to play. We have a fenced in yard and a conservation close to our house so there’s plenty of space for the animals. We love having dogs in the house.

I care for pets in my home by giving them a quiet dedicated space where they feel safe, plenty of breaks outside, and regular meals and potty breaks on a schedule. If I am at a client’s home I keep the same routine, making sure your pet gets walks playtime, and cuddle breaks while respecting your house rules. About: Hello! I have been an avid animal lover my whole life. I chose to pursue my dream of caring for animals and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Zoology. Having been an animal care specialist at a wildlife safari for several years, you can expect all of your animal's needs will be met to the highest standard. I am trained in administering medications (injection and oral). While not a certified dog trainer, I have experience training a variety of different species. Your precious pooch will be staying in a ground level apartment with access to a yard. Endless adventures and cuddles will keep your pet happy and content while being away from their owners. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. I am not currently working so being that I am home all day, I am available to tend to your dogs needs 24/7! Walks, potty breaks, play time, I will be on your dogs schedule and can send you updates as many times a day as you request. Your pets safety and comfort is my highest priority. In my home they are free to roam where they would like, while outside they will always be leashed. If they feel more comfortable having a crate in home we can arrange to have that for them as well.
