Even though I'm a helicopter parent when it comes to my cats, I was totally at ease knowing that Ana was coming by daily to check in on them. Ana is compassionate and intuitive when it comes to interacting with pets, and my cats were happy to see her each day. Even my second cat, who is normally terrified of strangers, grew to like Ana. I highly recommend Ana. Even though her rate was a little higher than other nearby Rover providers who do drop-in visits, she is worth every penny. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.”

From neighborhood walks and drop-in visits to overnight care and litter box duty, I focus on making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m structuring my schedule around dog walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and kitty care, primarily in East Sacramento, McKinley Village, and River Park. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment for pets, whether I’m caring for them in their home or mine. For drop-in visits and walks, I make sure pets get exercise, attention, fresh water, and plenty of reassurance while their owners are away. For overnight or in-home care, I provide a structured morning and evening routine along with regular updates and photos for peace of mind. About: I’ve taken care of lots of types of dogs and cats. I have experience giving medicine to both dogs and cats ( I have experience with the cat burrito maneuver). I am patient with animals and do my best to meet them at their level. I am an owner of a high energy dog and she has taught me so much about talking care of pets. During the week, I have availability for lunchtime walks and evening hang. On the weekends, my schedule is much more open and I can be available whenever you need me. When taking a dog into a backyard I always make sure they are supervised. My pup is a jumper and can easily jump a fence. So I know what to look out for. When in a new spaces I always walk the fence line to check for any holes or loose boards. With indoor cats, I enter and exits the house carefully so nobody escapes. I understand cats can be shy, so i usually pick a spot and hang out quietly there and wait for the cat to come to me.
