“I dropped off my 7 lb chihuahua, Molly, for a daycare session with Hana yesterday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Occasionally I might be out for the night but its generally about once a week or less. My home has a fenced yard, an atrium, 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. About: Animals have always been a part of my life, so caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I’ve worked with rescues, fostered dogs, and recently rescued a pup of my own after moving to the Sacramento area. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and needs. I treat every pet in my care like they’re my own, with patience, love, attention, and plenty of affection. As a fellow animal mom, my goal is to make your loved one feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I currently work from home, which gives me the flexibility to make pet care a natural part of my daily routine. Since I have a dog of my own, my days already include regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I’m able to adjust my schedule based on each dog’s individual routine and needs, making sure they receive consistent care, companionship, and love throughout the day. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual routine. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, medications or special instructions closely and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I have a flexible schedule, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I also have a friendly pup of my own and make sure any introductions are done thoughtfully so everyone feels safe and comfortable.
About: I have owned dogs most of my life from a Doberman pinscher to a chowchow to an Australian cattle dog and a couple cats throughout my life. I love animals! I no longer have our latest family Australian cattle dog who was with us for 17 years and miss being around animals. I am an independent contractor in real estate so I can set my own hours. I’m very flexible! I love to get out and walk a lot for exercise for myself as well! I give them lots of love and attention that they need. Play with them and make sure they’re happy, exercised, and well fed at their eating time

“My dog Oreo had a great two weeks with Marilee and Joe. Oreo had loads of fun playing and wrestling with their dog Zuko who is a great role model for my 3 year old pup. The entire family welcomed and played with Oreo. He even got to go visit the river to swim! 😊 🐕 💗 💦 Marilee was great with communication and sent photos of my happy pup! Lol! He had such a great time I was sort of worried that Oreo would be in withdrawal when we got home without all of their company and attention! We are planning on having Oreo visit again when we go out of town.”
