“Wonderful and accommodating when a problem with another sitter arose while I was out of state. They took great care of my pet and assured me he was doing fine so I could go about my weekend without worry.”

“Megan took such great care of our dog, Kevin, while we were away on a much-needed two-week family vacation. She kept us updated, gave Kevin plenty of attention, and we could tell he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Megan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Our two dogs had a great time! They were very happy when we picked them up. Shannan made sure to keep us updated with photos and took them on lots of walks! Thank you so much!”

“Ms. Kayla did so well with cash! She gave me daily updates and her communication was on point! She definitely made me feel at ease being away from my baby for a long period of time! I would definitely recommend her!!”

“Kelly was awesome with Oakley. It was very last minute for us being from out of town. Sent us pictures and stayed in contact the entire time. Will definitely have her dog sit for us when we're in Olive Branch.”

“Melinda was very sweet and accommodating. We have a big dog who loved her large backyard! She always texted me back when I texted to check on him. We would definitely use her again!”

“I had to find a dog sitter the day before I travelled out of state and Vivian accepted without hesitation. I am always nervous leaving my animals with someone new but she may me feel very comfortable leaving my dog Bowie with her. Bowie got along with her sweet pup so well and I know he was in a safe happy space with them. She sent me photos and updates everyday and I was glad Bowie was with people that care just as much about him as I do. We will definitely bring Bowie back next time we need to board so he can visit his new friend Harley:)”

“Rachel was great with both of my dogs. I received a ton of pictures and updates throughout the day. Will definitely book with her again the next time we need pet care.”

About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with plenty of dogs, big and small, puppies to adults. I also love to foster dogs from the local shelter. I only have 1 class a day during the week, 50 minutes long so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care and love your baby!! I care for pets in my home by providing food and water, plenty of treats and toys. I also love to walk so of course walking the dog every 2-4 hours depending on age. And if I am hired to do a drop in I will take the dog out and play with the dog!!
About: I have been pet sitting/ dog walking for almost 7 years now, and I absolutely love it! As a huge animal person, I can confidently say that pets are my passion! I want to love your furbaby like I love my own! I would love to take care of any needs you may have. Feel free to ask any questions! I am a junior at Ole Miss. I mostly have online classes, so I am free a lot! I am also free for overnight housesitting needs! I have 2 dogs back home in Georgia and I miss them so much! They are the happiest pups ever! My roommates and I have a Golden Retriever that we adopted last year! As far as boarding and doggy daycare goes, he would love to play with your pup, but they can also be easily separated if needed! I have so much love for pets, and would love to share so much love to yours!
“Thanks Courtney, for providing a wonderful service for Sparky and Ace. Courtney kept us updated on our dog’s stay with her. We enjoyed the pictures she sent. We will be using her services again!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Springs
This was our first time using Rover for boarding, so we were already a little nervous. Then our original boarder backed out just three days before we were supposed to leave, and we were seriously stressing! Jennifer stepped in and accepted Aspen and Indy, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything worked out. Both of our dogs were well cared for and received great care throughout the weekend. Aspen can be our angsty, cautious girl, so we’re always a little nervous about how she’ll do with someone new, but Jennifer handled her wonderfully. And our high-energy boy, Indy, was happy as could be! It was such a relief knowing they were safe and being taken care of while we were away, especially after the last-minute scramble we’d had. We would absolutely trust Jennifer with Aspen and Indy again and would not hesitate to book with her in the future. Highly recommend!

Jennifer and her family are The Best! She took such good care of my furry baby, Jenn Jenn and I’m so happy we met. Not only did she take care of Jennifer, but we became good friends and I can see working with her for a very long time. Jennifer’s entire family are extremely nice and I appreciate them so very much. I was never worried about my Jennifer and knew from the beginning at the meet and greet that she would be in good hands. Thank you, Jennifer! We’ll work together soon. I highly recommend Jennifer!❤️🙏🏾👍🏾

Gracie seemed to thoroughly enjoy her stay with Jennifer. In fact, she actually seemed to be sad once we arrived back home. I think she missed all of the dogs she had fun with. We appreciated that Jennifer was so accommodating with changes to our arrival and pick up times. Thanks, Jennifer!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Holly Springs home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Holly Springs.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Holly Springs sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
