“Rocky loved staying with Chris and Tommie!! He was well taken care of and enjoyed playing with their pup! I appreciated the daily photos and videos of Rocky. He had a great vacation with Chris and Tommie and will be back for more fun.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing pet sitters! I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to watch my pet while I was out of town. They kept me updated the entire time with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. It was clear they cared for my pet as if it were their own. I came home to a happy, relaxed pet and a spotless home. I highly recommend them and would gladly book with them again!”

About: I started dog sitting in 8th grade and ran my own little business called “Ellie’s Caring Paws” for years. I did it to prove I was ready for my own dog, and now my dog is 8! I love caring for dogs and animals of all ages and making them feel at home. I’m mostly online for school and not working right now, so I have tons of free time to spend with pets and give them my full attention. When pets stay with me, they’re part of the family! I keep their routine the same, give plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles, and make sure they feel right at home.
“Shelby & Spencer are so kind! Charlee had the best time! I couldn't be happier with the care she received. She came home totally exhausted and so happy — which tells me she got plenty of playtime, love, and attention. I’ll definitely use them again💙!”

“We love Hannah! This is the second time our two dogs have stayed with her, and it’s so nice having someone to leave them with who we trust. Hannah sends photos throughout our time away which is an added bonus. Highly recommend leaving your babies with her!”

About: I have owned reptiles, amphibians, dogs, cats, birds and other furry critters my whole life. My passion really does live with animals so honestly, this is more of an opportunity to spend time with animals for me and I am hoping after college to work in the animal behavior field. Take care of it fits into my routine, especially in times after six but other times could work because I never work later than six. When I am free of work I am completely available I have a fenced backyard and I am able to take them on as many walks necessary because we have two parks nearby. My pets are all super friendly and sweet however if a pet isn’t comfortable around others I do have another house five minutes away I could always go to instead so either works!

About: I have had dogs my entire life, high energy medium sized hound dogs. I have worked at a veterinary office in the past & been taking care of dogs for years. I have a very open schedule and can give a lot of care! 1, friendly, small, dachshund dog living with me. Big yard in the back that’s not fenced in. Roommates also experienced with dogs. Have stayed in homes in the past dog sitting with no issues.
“Cayley was so amazing!! She took amazing care of my dog and sent pictures and updates!! I will definitely be consistently using her again to watch my dog!! Her communication was awesome and was very helpful and quick to respond!!”

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
