1. Heidi S.
“I felt like I left Lucy with a member of my family. Heidi sent me daily messages and updates to let me know how Lucy was getting along. I never worried a minute and enjoyed my vacation knowing Lucy was in such good hands. My flight was also delayed and Heidi offered to add a drop in to make sure Lucy had dinner. I will definitely ask Heidi to help out again.”

“Katie is an exceptional Pet + House Sitter! We received consistent daily updates during our time away along with multiple photos. We have been using Rover off and on for the last 2 years and we must say, she is hands down the best we’ve had a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Katie and we look forward to working with you again down the road!”
5. Machalah M.
“Machalah did a wonderful job caring for our two dogs (one who is a senior) & cat while we were out of town. She regularly sent picture updates; my fur babies obviously received lots of TLC. Machalah also left the house very neat. Will definitely use Machalah’s services again.”

7. Trina N.
“Trina is a gem! I feel so lucky to have found her and she took wonderful care of my kitty Izzy. So good in fact I didn't even get meowed at loudly on my return 5 days later! She played with her, fed her let her sit on her lap as much as she wanted which was a lot I'm sure. She's very conscientious and I felt like she cared for my kitty like she would want hers cared for. Izzy looks wonderful and wasn't traumatized by my leaving. BTW, my cat is 17, deaf, arthritic with kid ey disease who is super attached to me so I was terrified to leave her. But once I met Trina at the interview, I knew she would love Izzy as one of her own. I highly highly recommend her for persisting and overnights. She's the best!”
8. Emily C.
“Emily is fantastic! Our Thanksgiving plans changed last minute and we couldn’t take our dogs. Emily responded quickly and was able to stay at our home with the dogs. She’s kind, knowledgeable and I fully trusted her in my home. Will use Emily again when needing in home care!”
9. Megan K.
“Megan was great! I booked somewhat last minute and she was super accommodating and easy going. She played fetch with our dogs and they had a blast!”
10. Lauren Z.
“Lauren stayed with and cared for my dog at my apartment the last 5 days. My pup has a lot of anxiety and trouble eating when I’m gone, but Lauren kept me posted and she was even eating pretty well! The house was clean when I returned and my pup was happy. I’ve already booked Lauren 4 more times since I travel a lot.”
11. Lucy H.
“Lucy goes above and beyond with caring for your animals! Not only is she willing to accommodate for last minute emergency needs but she also volunteered to take care of the cat litter box to ensure they are fine for the longer visit away. Lucy provides excellent communication during the visits and I will continue to use her services in the future.”
12. Ellie A.
“Ellie kept all 4 of our dogs which I know can be challenging, especially since some have special needs. She did great, and the dogs were happy when we returned! Much appreciated!”
13. Emilia B.
“Emilia is responsible and good with time management. She has always been around dogs and is attentive to their needs. With her reliability and love for dogs she will provide excellent care.”
14. Hannah S.
“For as long as I have known Hannah, she has always had a pet in the house. Her two pet dogs grew up alongside her, and since a young age, I have had the pleasure to see her interact with them, showing nothing but love, gratitude, and extreme joy for them. She is an exemplary role model and caretaker, who’s compassion and empathy illuminates any space she’s in, and I truly believe that she would be a perfect pet caregiver for your company, if you see it through. I hope you consider her character, devotion, and desire to become a caregiver, granting her the opportunity to demonstrate that same joy she had with her own pets to other’s pets as well.”
15. Wanda & Stephen S.
“Had a little difficulty with figuring out the schedule at first, but that was sorted out quickly. My dog had a health issue and Steve was very helpful in managing this and very patient with our pup.”
16. Jennifer C.
“Jennifer was fabulous! She communicated frequently and sent pictures the entire time. I will absolutely be a return costumer. My babies were happy upon my return and seemed very well cared for.”

“I am so happy & grateful to have found Katie. This is our second time booking with her and it feels so nice to know we have found a trustworthy & reliable person to watch our pups. She is the best!”
18. Aelish C.
“We love Aelish! She’s the first person outside of friends/family to stay with our dogs overnight and made us feel so much better with her multiple updates and photos. She even gained some trust from our shy/anxious dog, which isn’t easy. We hope to be rebooking her in the future!”
19. Kimberly L.
About: Hello, my name is Kim, and I have spent most of my life in Roanoke, VA along with a few years in Florida. I am available full-time to care for your pets. I have extensive experience with larger dogs, having raised a Rottweiler, Cane Corso, and now a Golden Retriever. Previously, I worked at City Dogs in SW Roanoke, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Although I started by pet-sitting for family, I now have my own home with a fenced-in backyard, allowing me to care for more dogs. As a full-time online student at Virginia Western, I am home most of the time, providing flexible pick-up and drop-off times. While I prefer not to do pick-ups/drop-offs before 8 AM and after 10 PM, I understand that flights can be delayed and other circumstances arise, so I strive to accommodate your needs. For meet-and-greets, I try to be as flexible as possible, scheduling around my busy times to ensure a calm environment for your pet. Requirements: To ensure the health and safety of all pets in my care, I require up-to-date vaccination records for all dogs. This is non-negotiable, as the well-being of all our guests is our top priority. My own pets vaccination records are available for your review on her . Feeding Schedule: Feeding times are typically around 7-8 AM and 6-7 PM, with an additional lunchtime feeding at 12-1 PM for those who eat three times a day. I am happy to adhere to your pet’s specific feeding schedule. Dogs are fed separately to prevent accidents, and I allow an hour of rest after eating to prevent bloating. Please inform me of any allergies, as I provide a variety of treats and enjoy making frozen lick pads. What to Bring: Please bring your dog’s food to avoid upsetting their stomach with a sudden change in diet. I do have extra food and I have my pup so we always have food just in case! Additionally, bringing a dog bed, blanket, or toys that smell like home can help them settle in. I have extra bowls, beds, and toys, so don’t worry if you can’t bring everything. While I don’t have crates, you’re welcome to bring one if your dog is crate-trained or prefers to sleep in it. Daily Routine: My goal is to keep the dogs happy and stimulated. We aim for 8-10 hours of outdoor play and socialization, with indoor cool-down periods to prevent overheating. I also play soothing music to help anxious dogs relax. Treats are given after cool-down periods, and we use this time to practice commands and keep them mentally engaged. Important Note: I do not accept dogs or puppies who are not up to date on vaccinations!! The well being of our guests is our priority! We do not want to risk any sick pups! I am also privately insured through Pet Care Insurance or PCI. For visits, please use the Ring doorbell rather than knocking, as it helps keep the dogs calm. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I stay at home pretty much 24/7. I don’t work a job other than pet sitting. I am accepting dogs all days of the week! I have my own four bedroom house. The house has three empty rooms in case of boarding which I do let dogs on furniture. Also, if I don’t have a lot of dogs we all usually pile into one room. I have a fenced in backyard as well.
20. Haley F.
