âNicole is very accommodating and communicative. Daisy always enjoys herself there. She loves the fenced in yard and how she is spoiled when inside. We have used Nicole several times and will continue to do soâ

âJie and her family were amazing dog hosts. She sent us daily updates and videos and was an incredible communicator. This was the first time weâve left our furry children with someone and could not have been happier. We were so relaxed knowing they were in great hands and will recommend her and this service to all the pet owners we know!â

âOut of the past 10 dogsitters weâve used, John is the best. We got 5+ pictures of a day clearly showing our dogs were happy and having fun. John noticed and mentioned a half dozen things that showed us he was attentive to our dogâs needs and sensitive enough to help them when they were in need. Our dogs came back visibly less stressed than with other dogsitters, so we will be using John from now on!â
âChristian is great! He is patient, chill, and very good with dogs! I loved that our dog wanted to go back inside with him when we had to leave; that is a great sign!â

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.
âI canât stop saying how wonderful Rachel is. She has cared for Louis several times and each time Iâm at ease because I know heâs in good hands. Thank you Rachel so much!â

âSwift, Brian, family were amazing with our two dogs! They sent lots of photos throughout the weekend and responded quickly. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend!â

âKarl and his dogs are very welcoming. Karlâs yard is well suited for the dogs with a large space and a fence. Karl communicates timely and goes out of his way to ensure all goes well. All the dogs got along well and our dogs adjusted well on both sends of their stay.â

âSamantha and her family were amazing with Strider! She worked to figure out the best way to burn his energy and to keep him happy. As a bonus, she lives in an area any dog would love with places to hike and things to smell. I absolutely recommend her!â

âI couldnât have asked for a better experience. Amy was warm, kind, and incredibly attentive while caring for my dog. Â It gave me real peace of mind knowing my baby was in such good hands. Communication was great, and it was clear she genuinely cared. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her services!â

âStephanie took great care of our two dogs - took them on long walks, treated them with love, and they had a great time. Will definitely be in touch with her again when we're back in the area!â

âAlicia and her sweet family welcomed Ollie into their home for a 10 day stay. This was Ollie's first stay away from home and Alicia did her best to make him feel safe and comfortable during his stay. Upon pickup he was healthy and happy - would not hesitate to book again!â

âWe have used luiz and his beautiful family for several doggy day care options but this was the first time they boarded walter for us. Walter is a young man with an abundance of energy and they made sure he had plenty of play time and also rest time. I really appreciated the pictures and videos I was sent throughout the day as it really helps ease my mind being away from my babies! Will definitely use him again!!â

About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! I have my own high energy pup, so daily hikes, play time and training fit right into our routine. I have a fenced in yard, and a pet friendly home. Although our dog does not use one, we have crates available. Walks can be on or off leash depending on your dogs skills anf your own comfortability.
âNatalya was wonderful with Charlie, our miniature schnauzer... She introduced him to a doggie door (his first) and he enjoyed playing with Natalya's two lovely dogs... I know he was well cared-for! Communicating with Natalya was easy. A great experience for us and Charlie.â

By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
