About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.

About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! I have my own high energy pup, so daily hikes, play time and training fit right into our routine. I have a fenced in yard, and a pet friendly home. Although our dog does not use one, we have crates available. Walks can be on or off leash depending on your dogs skills anf your own comfortability.

About: I started taking care of neighborhood animals when I was 12 years old and continued down this path of animal care and rescue into my adulthood. I took care of a childhood dog for 16 years of my life before rescuing three of my own as an adult. All three of my rescues have their own unique behavioral issues. One I cannot have around small children from trauma inflicted on her by them. My other cannot regulate her emotions when she gets overstimulated, and my youngest is a deaf and mostly blind double merle! I have taken care of my own pets, taken care of countless neighborhood pets, and I have also worked on a horse farm where I was trusted to take care of the horses, donkeys, and pigs. My passion is taking care of animals. My empathy for them is great and its my goal to make sure that even the saddest animals have a full life and find happiness. I also like to make sure that when they are missing their families I can make them as happy, loved and cared for as possible until their families return. I currently work full time and have Mornings, Evenings and Weekends free with flexibility to take time off throughout the day to care for animals who need more frequent attention. Over the years, I’ve looked after all kinds of pets — from energetic pit bulls and bulldogs to small dogs like Shih Tzus and even cats. About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! I work full-time from home, or if I goto my solo office, I would take the dogs. (Office is pet friendly and it's not far from my home) I am very good with dogs and have had them a long time. About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Having a fenced in yard, it’s very helpful and handy to those pups with bladder issues to go in and out of the house as needed. About: I started taking care of neighborhood animals when I was 12 years old and continued down this path of animal care and rescue into my adulthood. I took care of a childhood dog for 16 years of my life before rescuing three of my own as an adult. All three of my rescues have their own unique behavioral issues. One I cannot have around small children from trauma inflicted on her by them. My other cannot regulate her emotions when she gets overstimulated, and my youngest is a deaf and mostly blind double merle! I have taken care of my own pets, taken care of countless neighborhood pets, and I have also worked on a horse farm where I was trusted to take care of the horses, donkeys, and pigs. My passion is taking care of animals. My empathy for them is great and its my goal to make sure that even the saddest animals have a full life and find happiness. I also like to make sure that when they are missing their families I can make them as happy, loved and cared for as possible until their families return. I currently work full time and have Mornings, Evenings and Weekends free with flexibility to take time off throughout the day to care for animals who need more frequent attention. Unfortunately, due to my own three rescue dogs at home I will not be able to take pets back to my house for care at this time.
About: I’ve always loved animals and have spent many years helping friends and family take care of their pets. It’s something that brings me a lot of joy. Over the years, I’ve looked after all kinds of pets — from energetic pit bulls and bulldogs to small dogs like Shih Tzus and even cats. Sometimes I’ve stayed in people’s homes for a week or two, and other times I’ve just stopped by for walks or check-ins. I’ve also welcomed pets into my own home when friends needed someone they could trust. I have a calm, friendly personality and get along well with animals, even if we’re meeting for the first time. I’m always careful to notice when a pet might be nervous or needs some space, and I do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. My schedule is very flexible since I work a per diem job and can choose when to take shifts. This gives me plenty of time for pet sitting, walks, or overnight stays. I’m usually available on short notice, too. The only thing I plan ahead for is care for my own cat while I’m away, but that’s easy for me to arrange — so it won’t affect my availability or reliability. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible — feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles just the way they’re used to. I make sure they feel safe and cared for while their family is away. If a pet stays in my home, I treat them like one of my own. I create a calm, cozy environment with plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I also make sure to follow any specific instructions from the owner so each pet’s needs are met. I’m gentle, patient, and understanding of different personalities — whether a pet is shy and needs space or energetic and ready to play.
About: I have had dogs & cats in my life since childhood. A parakeet too! I know how close we become to our pets & how important good care is. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun! I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well. I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.

About: I am an active human and love the companionship of dogs for walks and hikes, as well as a snuggle on the couch. I have cared for puppies as well as senior dogs. I am currently unemployed and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule as well as appreciate the routine of pet care to help me build routine of my own in this moment of unemployment. About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.
About: I've had animals since I was a child. I have helped neighbors, friends, and family members care for their furkids. Walking, feeding, caring for them is the least I can do. I provide them with love as if they are my own. I'm currently working at a job that allows me to come and go as I please with plenty of flexibility. I can help at anytime of any day! I have a fenced yard for my 3 Siberian Huskies and my golden retriever. I also have a Cat, 2 Green Cheek Conures, a Chinchilla, and a Sugar Glider. About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.

About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! I have my own high energy pup, so daily hikes, play time and training fit right into our routine. I have a fenced in yard, and a pet friendly home. Although our dog does not use one, we have crates available. Walks can be on or off leash depending on your dogs skills anf your own comfortability.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, after the passing of my last dog - I decided to give myself a break from owning pets and decided to take care of them for others instead until I am ready for my next fur baby! I work from home and can house sit any day of the week, most weeks. I leave the house to go to the gym for a couple hours per day. I have a full fenced in yard and the pets stay inside the house unless it’s play time of potty time. The house is big enough for multiple pets.
