“Phoebe is so sweet and kind, extremely respectful and communicative. She house sat and watched my dog and cat for about a week. She provided absolutely adorable updates, suggested and was open to a prior meeting, and followed some pretty precise and specific instructions for care. I’m so grateful Phoebe not only was able to care for my animals, but showed them love, cuddles and eased my pup’s major anxiety. Plus, I live in an apartment so it’s not easy during feeding time so I am grateful Phoebe was able to navigate that as well. Thank you Phoebe, hope you can watch these two knuckleheads again!! ❤️”

“Skye was great to work with and it’s clear she wants to provide quality care. She was great to communicate with and made sure all my questions and her questions were answered. I highly recommend!”

“Terry was fabulous! He and our dog Gus bonded beautifully—hung out together, went for runs, played ball…we got frequent updates on how Gus was doing, along with photos and videos. Highly recommend Terry!”

“Zach was amazing with Acacia, she’s super timid and he was very patient with her. I loved receiving photos and updates from him, and he really eased my mind while I was away from Acacia. I hope to work with Zach more in the future! 10/10 service. He also left the house exactly as we asked!”

“Tess was amazingly helpful with my dog, Boston!! He is a big dog with a lot of energy and I always worry that he might be a lot to handle for anyone coming over, and this was my first experience using Rover. Everything went seamlessly and I couldn’t recommend Tess enough!!”

“Steven is great! He’s friendly and our dogs couldn’t have been happier and more well taken care of when we got home. He was quick to take our sitting job in a pinch and we look forward to having him hang with our dogs again in the future!”

“Alexandra is a great communicator and was here exactly when she said she would be! We came home to healthy happy animals 🩷 She was constantly snapping pics of our cats and dogs. I loved seeing that they were all good :) Our house was spotless when we came home, no mess and she even went above and beyond to wash the sheets and towels. Definitely hope to use her again in the future! I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Theron was AWESOME. He sent pictures and updates of my fur babies. This is the first time I’ve used a pet sitter who was not a family member and I will definitely use Theron again and refer him to family and friends. I have nothing but positive things to say about his services.”

“Megan was awesome! My dog can be shy with strangers and she warmed up to Megan right away. Megan is attentive, timely, and great with updates! Hope to book with her again in the future!”

“She did great and kept me updated. Didn't leave the place a mess and my boy seemed like he had a good weekend since he dragged a bunch of toys out he never plays with probably showing off.”

“Highly recommend Hope!! Immediately during the meet and greet I felt confident that she was professional, responsible, and very fond of dogs, insourcing our pit bull boxer mix. He was obviously very comfy with her during the meet and greet and her stay. She even left a “deep sleep for dogs” video on the TV when she left :) we felt completely confident that Ducky was well taken care of and didn’t worry about how things were going while we were gone, which was so nice. Would def book again!”

About: I am the go-to pet sitter for my friends, family, and friends of the family. I have been told i’m an “animal whisperer” and take that title proudly! I have a bachelors in psychology, i’m a self-published author, and i’m certified in Reiki (energy healing) and can provide your pets and your home with reiki while i’m there. I have a background in housekeeping and can also provide additional cleaning services to your home. I love animals and have found pet sitting to be my happy place. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies! Pet sitting is my full-time job so my schedule is very available! I used to do housekeeping professionally and now just clean for friends and friends of the family, but would be willing to provide additional cleaning services if the client requested. I currently live with two cats and two dogs (a pitbull and a dachshund). They’re my roommates animals but I treat them like they’re my own. I always said growing up if i had steady hands I would’ve been a vet! I’m always caring for pets, or with pets and treat them like I would treat a child.
“Julia was great! She sent pictures of our animals as an update and was a huge help when we needed someone pretty last minute to watch our house.”

“Max was very dependable and prompt with any last minute needs that we needed help with. He was very pleasant work with and left the house in perfect condition and cleaned up when he left.”

“Sara always takes care of our two dogs and house like it's her own. She sends regular photos ans updates and even goes above and beyond washing towels and vacuuming. She makes my wife and I feel comfortable leaving our two dogs while we have to travel.”

“D'Andra was wonderful. Though this was only our first time with her house sitting, our pets were very relaxed. She has a calm, collected and warm demeanor. There was excellent communication throughout. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Lawrence took great care of our dog and house while we were away— would definitely recommend him! Our dog is often anxious around new people but she liked him pretty much immediately.”

Hillsdale pet parents share their Rover experiences
It was wonderful to have Jacob watch Finn at our house. He was very responsive, communicative and polite. Jacob asked great questions about Finn and his daily routine. He was easy to work with on the details of our requests. We returned to a happy dog in a happy house. Thank YOU Jacob!

Alex did such a wonderful job with our 15 year old geezer. He was very communicative with us and attentive to all of Milo's needs. When we came back Milo was clearly very happy and worn out (in the best way) from a weekend of fun. Would recommend Alex to anyone!!

Maya’s fantastic! She did an excellent job with our senior dog and the house. It is such a relief to have found someone like her. It takes so much stress off me, knowing I can travel & leave everything in good hands. Maya is kind, responsible, a good communicator and left everything in great condition. And I think our dog misses her already! Can’t wait to hire her again.

Phillis did a great job pet sitting for us! She was incredibly flexible, especially when Gemma had a rough time with her allergies and wasn't taking her meds or eating well. I had to adjust my trip for a vet visit, and Phillis handled the changes with understanding and grace. She also stayed with the pets through a few storms, keeping them calm and comforted. On top of that, she cleaned up after them and even took out the trash—truly going above and beyond. I really appreciated her care and attention. Highly recommend!
