She was SO flexible with me pushing the dog sitting back one day and then later asking to extend it another day. She spent a ton of time at the house with Bowie and was intentional about giving him enrichment and playtime. She left the key exactly where I asked her to and locked all of my doors. She was respectful of our home and left it exactly how it was before she got here. She is my new go to pet sitter!”

About: I grew up on a farm where I learned about the care for many different animals. I’ve pet sat for others since I was 16 and have been raising my own fur babies for almost 7 years now. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well-looked after. I have experience house sitting, cleaning up the home before owners return, and sticking to daily routines. After work I would head straight over to let the dogs out, keep them company, and make sure they got plenty of attention. On weekends I enjoyed taking them on long walks around the neighborhood. I’ve also cared for three dogs and two cats at the same time, including baths when needed. On top of that, I’ve raised a rescue kitten from just one week old—bottle feeding every two hours, teaching him to walk, use the litter box, and transition to solid food—so I’m very comfortable with pets who need extra patience or special care. Since I have a flexible work schedule, I am able to plan my days around pet care. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for walks, check-ins, or overnight care. I keep pets safe by following your routines closely and maintaining a clean, calm environment. I’m careful with doors, crates, feeding schedules, and any instructions you leave for me.

“Lacy was great to work with; understanding and was able to adjust when we had to modify our travel plans. She also did a meet and greet prior to booking. She stayed at our house while we were out of town for a little over a week, giving us peace of mind knowing that someone was here at our home looking not only over our animals, but over our property. She sent updates and pictures every day and followed our instructions for pet care well. She notified us when one of our cats got his pet tracking collar off, that a tree branch had fallen in our road, and would reach out if she had any questions about anything. Our animals really enjoyed her company and even had our more hesitant/avoidance cat eventually come around.”

My own dogs have lived long lives - two for 18 years, one for 17 so I know how to give meds and care for their special needs. Stanley's petsitter recommended I try Rover - so here I am! I can come to your house, or bring your dog here to my 1/2 acre fenced in yard, with a dog door to the house and lots of time to share with your pet. I am retired and in Tallahassee or the vicinity walking or meeting up with friends. I have lots of free time to share with your pet. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard and a dog door to the house. I have a pool. I can come to your house if needed, or care for your dog here.

About: My family has owned dogs my entire life - I grew up learning how to best care for them. Very trustworthy, kind, loyal, and loving! About: I taken care of animals all my life. Fishes, guinea pigs,hamsters, bunnies, dogs, and cats! I even volunteered at an animal shelter for a summer and it was such a great experience!! I will treat your baby like it’s my own💕 Majority of my day ends around 3:30 due to classes but other times it ends before that in the afternoon. I am free on the weekends unless I am traveling out of town! I live in a first floor apartment in a gated community. All dogs are safe to walk around the complex as every dog is required to be leashed. I also have a lock to my room incase I do any animal sitting, so no randoms can come into my room nor apartment.

About: I Grew up in a small zoo with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 chickens, and a lizard. My personal babies, peanut (14 y/o chihuahua) and Sophie Cat (4 year old Siberian) are my pride and joy. About: I’ve volunteered with cats of all ages and temperaments at local animal shelters, and I am unafraid of being scratched because of years of battle wounds from feline friends. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I also do much of my work remotely, so all I need is a computer and I can entertain your fur baby for hours :) My apartment has no yard but a front door that automatically locks. I have two roommates who love my cat, Honey, and would absolutely not mind having another kitty around. If your cat is antisocial, I have a spacious carpeted room with tons of toys and scratchers which they can be left alone with for as long as they want. If your cat is very social, great! I love giving cuddles and play time!
