“Listen, look no further on Rover! Sharon is it. My dog injured himself and needed a place for several days that was attentive to his needs because he couldn't run or jump and I didn't want him crated all day while I was at work. Sharon sent me videos, photos, progess updates, and my Bosey would get so excited when we pulled up to her house. Her home is so serene and calm. She has plenty of toys. He has recovered quicker than I anticipated. I soooo appreciate Sharon and the care and compassion that she had for my Bosey. I will be using her and anyone reading this review should too.”

“This was our puppy's first experience with 'Doggy Day Care' and it could not have gone better. Jessica was easy to communicate with, friendly and flexible. She sent a pictures and video of Jasper's day and I could tell he had a blast playing with her dogs. I would recommend Jessica Rover services without any hesitation. We will definitely use her again soon.”

“Rachel helped me out big time by taking my dog last minute after a cancellation. She responded promptly even though it was very late in the evening. She sent numerous photos to let me know my dog was in good hands. Will book again in the future.”

“Aspen was really fantastic with my 2 dogs during their week long daycare stays. She even sat patiently with my old dog to ensure all of the lunch was eaten. I also enjoyed the daily pictures she sent!”

“Breanna is great! We left our pup for daycare, she played, relaxed, and went on a walk. Breanna was very responsive and provided great updates. We would absolutely leave our pup with her again.”

“Christina was incredibly accommodating, and took excellent care of Lillian, who was a little stressed over being someplace new for the first time. Wish I lived in the area so I could book her again; Christina was excellent and communicates well (and sent photos during the stay, which was a bonus!)”

“Leslie was so wonderful with my wilson! She sent lots of pictures, even took him to a park when it was nice out. She followed the directions for feeding and gave him lots of snuggles ❤️”

“Iryna and Anna are so wonderful. Our dog is always happy when we pick him up. We can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind we have when we leave our pup with them.”

“Kaitlan is very professional and communicated with me by text promptly every time. We are in a motorhome and use Rover to find out of town pet sitters so we can find a safe place for my pups to stay during the day while we tour different areas. She was great.”

About: I work from home so your little ones won’t be by themselves, at least for not very long. I grew up on a farm with every animal possible around me so I’m used to it all. I work from home. I take my dog on a long morning walk in Cherokee park to start her day, throw balls in the fenced in dog park to use some energy, and take her out every 3 hrs or so to make sure she’s comfortable. My dog is like one of us. Well, sort of. We don’t feed her human food. Aside from that, we allow her on our furniture and she can move about freely as she wants. Your little one will have the same treatment.

“Marina is an excellent dog sitter. She was accommodating to my schedule, and conveniently waited for me outside of her complex when I told her I was almost arriving. I am always on the run so this was enormously helpful. I will definitely come back to Marina when the need arises.”

“Max is awesome. Kept me informed daily of Etta’s day. He clearly loves dogs!! He is gentle and kind to my baby. She liked him right away. He even wrote a poem about her!! Just loved everything about this experience 💕”

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life, have taken training courses, read books on positive training practices, and volunteered at shelters. I am a writer who works from home with a 3 year old 12.5lb playful doxie/terrier mix who needs walks early and often — so much of my day is spent on slow sniffaris and trips to the park. I live alone in a large apartment with several plush dog beds strewn about, so there is plenty of space to stretch and play — and my couch sits along three large windows where dogs can perch to watch the passersby. If your dog needs a sitter or a sleepover, I’d love to have them — and my little pup would love it even more. Since I’m around all day, I’m available to meet your dog’s special needs — administering medicine, adhering to feeding times, playing tug of war, whatever the case may be. We have warm and happy home full of natural treats waiting for you and your dog. I work from home and so am available to fulfill your dog’s needs without bother! I never leave my own dog for more than a few hours at a time so you can rest easy knowing your dog is getting the focus and energy they need. Dogs in my home get many daily walks, at least one trip to the park every day — and most of all sensitive and informed care. My family makes fun of me for how attentive I am to my own dog, brushing his teeth and treating him with healthy snacks, watching him closely for changes in behavior and physical afflictions. Your dog would receive the same care (plus or minus the teeth brushing). And you will receive as many photos as you can handle ensuring they are having fun.

About: I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by all types of animals. I love to travel and try to meet as many animals as I can along the way. I’m currently working part time so I figured I would fill up my spare time with my favorite thing and help out some furry friends along the way. I am happy to follow specific individualized instructions for all of the unique pets that are out there. I know how important those little furry family members are.

About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 14 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Live right by Cherokee Park, which is a great venue for pups. I just returned home from living/working in California for a year+. Therefore my reviews are from 2023 and earlier. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. My condo is very pet friendly and permitted by the HOA. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of memory foam beds and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

“Shelby is a covid dog and not socialized with other dogs at all. Myrna is very patient with her and pairs her with other dogs to teach her how to act. She spends the entire time with the dogs and has a great backyard for them to play in. Highly recommend!”

“🐾 Dog Review for Corey 🐾 I can’t say enough good things about Corey! From the moment I dropped off my fur baby, I knew they were in great hands. My pup was greeted with open arms and immediately felt comfortable. Throughout the stay, Corey provided not just care but also plenty of playtime and cuddles. They kept me updated with adorable photos and messages, which really eased my mind. When I picked up my dog, they were happy, healthy, and slightly tired from all the fun! I highly recommend Corey to anyone looking for a reliable and loving caretaker for their furry friends. Thank you for treating my dog like family! 🐶❤️”

Frida seems to really love Josie and is happy when she comes over to play with her or take her for walks. Josie was also able to help me with our beloved Kitty before she passed. Josie seems to really love animals. Overall I would highly recommend Josie and will definitely ask her to help again in the future.”

Donovan F.
“Donovan has a genuine love for animals and a gentle spirit. He puts my hyper pups at ease within minutes and they love his attention. Walks, potty breaks, exercise are provided in spades. I would trust Donovan with my babies before anyone else (including my family! Don’t tell them ha ha)”

Highlands dog parents share their Rover experiences
Cecile was exceptional, kind and so patient with my puppy! She gave updates the entire day, ensured my puppy felt safe and kept him busy. He came home very happy and very tired. Win win for both of us! I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter.

Grace was great our dog! We have a reactive/frustrated greeter blue heeler who can be a little shy around new people and had him playing and hanging out with her and her dogs with no trouble. We’re happy to have someone local who’s this good with him and will definitely be requesting more bookings.

We are from out of town and were visiting Louisville with our dog. We needed a sitter for the days where we couldn't bring Beau with us. From the beginning, Kaitlin was quick to respond and accommodating, even agreeing to a quick meet and greet before day care. Kaitlin was calm and we felt like we could trust her with Beau. Her dog, Maggie was very sweet and we felt comfortable leaving Beau with essentially a complete stranger! Thank you, Kaitlin! We would definitely recommend her.
