About: Hi! I cannot wait to get to know your pet! Learning their routines, behaviors, and boundaries helps me ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Making sure you return to exercised, well behaved, and happy pets is the always the priority. During inclement weather, I provide safe outdoor potty breaks, with indoor play like puzzles and scavenger hunts. Ensuring they're still getting to work out their energy and your money is well spent. I'm happy to help figure out which service is best for you and your pet. Please reach out with any questions. And I'm happy to set up a meet and greet so that I'm available to help out at a moments notice. I make my living providing pet care and housekeeping. Remember sleep away camp when you were a kid? Whether at my home or your own, I'd like to know what your pet's current routines are, and any anxieties you or they might have. I appreciate the trust and responsibility I've been given while taking care of your loved ones and home.
âAspen was really fantastic with my 2 dogs during their week long daycare stays. She even sat patiently with my old dog to ensure all of the lunch was eaten. I also enjoyed the daily pictures she sent!â

About: I have been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and have experience with a wide variety of pets. From raising and training two puppies alongside my sister when I was younger, to caring for horses, cats (both indoor and outdoor), a ferret, a turtle, and even nurturing a wild rabbit from infancy â animals have always been a meaningful part of my life. Iâm a true animal lover and take pride in providing attentive, compassionate care. I am comfortable administering medications when needed and understand how important it is to follow routines and instructions closely. When your pets are with me, you can expect regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel confident they are safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work part-time (typically 2â3 days per week), which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be readily available for pet care. Feel free to message me about availability â Iâm happy to work with your needs whenever possible. My home environment is safe, clean, and pet-friendly, with no accessible hazards or toxic items. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing them with patience, affection, and dependable care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Because I have availability throughout the week, Iâm able to accommodate a variety of care types and adjust my routine as needed to match each petâs schedule. âKaitlin was very sweet and was able to watch Vinny for me on short notice. She sent me a photo of him with the other pups she was sitting and was an excellent communicator! Our first experience with Rover was a great one thanks to her!â

About: I've, truly, never met a dog that didn't love me, and vice versa. My first dog, Patty, was a stray my big brother brought home, and he, my sister, and I, hid her upstairs, afraid our parents wouldn't let us keep her. She was quickly discovered as she escaped and ran wildly through the house with the three of us chasing her. She was our puppy, and that was the beginning of my love affair with animals. A known pet whisperer and rescuer, strangers would knock on our door when I was growing up, ask if I was home, then hand me a kitty or puppy in need, saying that they had heard I would take care of it. And I always did. I was blessed with compassionate, pet loving parents who knew the value that animals can add to a family, in helping children learn responsibility, patience and empathy, and to know what it feels like to have unconditional love. I carried that tradition on when rearing my own children on five, wooded acres in Oldham County. At one glorious point in time, we had rescued 5 dogs, 5 cats and added 2 baby pygmy goats to our menagerie. We even added a 6th dog, when actress Jennifer Lawrence's mom, Karen, needed to rehome her son's large Dalmation Boxer mix, when he moved to Chicago. Karen said she had pondered over the best home for the pooch, and thought, "If I was a dog, who would I want to live with? Greylyn! She's the best pet mama in the world!" It won me over immediately. All of our extended fur family were always happy, healthy and loved completely. The vet would come to our home, lining up 10 or more sets of shots on the kitchen table when it was vaccination time. We, also, initiated a rotating reward system that we refered to as"Dog of the Day", so that each pup could get extra special treatment on at least one day of the week. Although they all may have some similar characteristics, every dog has its own unique personality. I've dealt with every imaginable idiosyncrasie, and I celebrate the differences. I'm firm enough to help train them, fun enough to play and romp, and free enough to cuddle with them on furniture. HOME ALL DAY! I create from home, so I'm available to accommodate any special needs your pup may have. 'Going to Greylyn's', will be like going to visit 'Nana: the Dog', from 'Peter Pan'--a lot of fun and love and magic and attention. Except, I'm not a dog. And I promise not to let them fly off to Neverland... at least not on the first visit. SCENE: YOU and YOUR DOG at home. YOU: (on your device, searching, discovering, and, reading aloud: YOU: "COZY APARTMENT INSIDE A SERENE, ENCLOSED, COURTYARD/BEAUTIFUL PARK OUT THE FRONT DOOR/OTHER FUZZY FRIENDS TO PLAY WITH/BE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF YOUR DOG HAS A BIRTHDAY! YOUR DOG: (panting, lots of tail wagging in excitement) "Ruff Woof! Ruff Woof!!! WOW!! Take me THERE, (YOUR name)!!!! Pa-leeeese!! Please please pleasepkeeezzzeee! Take me there, (YOUR name)!!! THAT'S where I want to go!!! I want to go to Auntie Greylyn's!!" (more panting & drooling. more excitement) (DISCLAIMER: No Dog Actors were used in this dialogue. Real Dogs were compensated with milk bones in exchange for their testimony)Your dog can feel free to make themselves at home inside, and, safely go through the private court yard for active walks in the park, when needed. If your pet is crate trained, and, prefers that, please bring one along. We will always be on leash outside for our walks. Your furry friend can look forward to being "Dog of the Day" every time they come to play or have a sleep over.
âCatherine was great! She took our dog Clio for daycare super last minute and sent us pictures throughout the day. Clio came home tired and happy!â

âPolina is absolutely amazing!! I received text updates and pictures frequently from her and my pup had the absolute best time! She took such amazing care of him. He really enjoyed getting to play with other dogs and especially enjoys all the snuggles from Polina 𩵠I cannot recommend her enough. Sheâs seriously the best sitter you could ever hope to have!â

âChristina was incredibly accommodating, and took excellent care of Lillian, who was a little stressed over being someplace new for the first time. Wish I lived in the area so I could book her again; Christina was excellent and communicates well (and sent photos during the stay, which was a bonus!)â

âBreanna is great! We left our pup for daycare, she played, relaxed, and went on a walk. Breanna was very responsive and provided great updates. We would absolutely leave our pup with her again.â

About: What sets me apart is real, hands-on experience. Iâve raised animals my entire life and have cared for dogs across a wide range of ages, temperaments, and health needs. Iâm comfortable with energetic puppies who need patience and structure, as well as senior or sick dogs who require extra attention, gentle handling, and consistency. I pay close attention to instructions, routines, and small details, especially when a dog needs special care. I stay calm, reliable, and observant, which helps dogs feel safe and owners feel confident while theyâre away. My goal is simple: show up on time, follow directions closely, and make sure each dog is cared for as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Iâm currently working on my business, which means Iâm home most of the day with my own dog and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to give pets consistent attention, timely walks, and dependable drop-in care throughout the day. Because Iâm not tied to a strict 9â5 schedule, I can accommodate regular visits, mid-day walks, and last-minute needs when they come up. Caring for animals is already part of my daily life, so adding additional pets into my routine is seamless and never rushed. When caring for pets in my home or a clientâs home, I focus on consistency, comfort, and following the petâs normal routine as closely as possible. Pets always have access to fresh water, are fed according to instructions, and are given plenty of attention throughout each visit. My home environment is quiet, calm, and cozy, with large open areas where dogs can move around and play comfortably, including indoor space during bad weather. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, playtime, and rest based on their age, energy level, and health needs. In a clientâs home, I respect their space and carefully follow any care instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and specific routines. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.
âAbsolutely some of the best caretaking Charlie has had! Lori was great with Charlie. We met beforehand with her sweet pup to make sure the dogs would get along, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and quick communication. During his stay, Charlie got to run around and play with other dogs at her home and her familyâs farm, but also had time to rest and relax. He was such a happy boy when we picked him up and slept the whole way home! 10/10 would recommend Lori!!â

âToday was Macâs first day with Rachael and it went so well! She sent lots of photos and updates throughout the day to let me know Mac was doing well with other new dogs and in a new place. Highly recommend. Will definitely be requesting her for future daycare needs.â
