“Ashley is such a great sitter! Moose had the best time with her and her family. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely let Moose stay with her again in the future ☻”

“Christina was great!! I loved the pictures she sent, letting me know my dogs were having fun and making friends. They came home happy and exhausted - which was an added bonus. Communication before and during the booking was great. She set up a meet and greet before the booking to meet her, her boyfriend, and their dogs. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely book again!”

“Kelly was fantastic. First time ever leaving our dog with someone we didn't know. She took our baby in and treated him like part of the family. Got lots of updates and photos of him while we were away. I would 100% recommend her. I can see why she has so many repeat customers!!!!!”

“Best experience ever! I would recommend Jessica over and over to any and all! As a military family it is hard to find someone to trust with your furry family members but our pup had the best life with cuddles and treats the whole time. He was cared for like he was one of her own.”

“Shannon was fantastic! She communicated well with us while she watched our boy! She sent pictures to show he was doing fine! We felt at total ease leaving our “kid” in her care… she welcomed doing a meet and greet earlier in the week ( at our request) to introduce our dog to her to before dropping him off later that week. She was very accommodating with our drop off/pickup since we were flying somewhere. Will definitely use her again and recommend to her to other pet parents!!!”

“This was my first time using Rover. I was a little nervous, but Nicole was very kind, responded very quickly. Gave me updates with a video! It was a last-minute booking for Fourth of July, and she was very accommodating to me and my dog, which I really appreciated the ladder. Highly recommend!! 😊”

“Matt is a great dogsitter who communicates daily with photos of your pet and how they are doing. Our lab (Noelle) enjoyed being there with him and his kids. 10/10 recommended and we will be using him again.”

“Jamie and Aaron were amazing!! Max had the best time and I think he was sad to leave. They provided pictures and video while he was there. Will definitely use them in future!!”

“Starr is absolutely the best. She is caring and compassionate. Sends lots of pictures which is very reassuring. Starr and her children gave our Winston lots of loving. We will be using her for all of our future sitter needs.”

About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention. I also know how important a walk is to a dog, it’s the highlight of their day! We’d make the most of it.
“Our pup did great at Mandi’s! I didn’t have to worry at all because she sent pictures of his day and an update of what he did. She was so sweet to send him home with a personalized bandana and a jar of homemade treats! Definitely recommend!”

“Our dog Dobby just finished her first tryout stay with Daniela. It seems like she had a good time and there weren't any big problems. Daniela kept us in the loop and sent lots of pics during the days. Dobby seems pretty happy with her stay, so we are as well. We will definitely be getting in touch with Daniela again for further dog watching.”

“This was our first experience using Rover, and Sarah made it easy! She was very thorough and made sure to provide frequent updates and pictures. Winston seemed to have a great time! Would definitely use again.”

“This was my first time needing a sitter and I was pretty nervous about it. I've never had to leave my sweet boy anywhere other than the vet for a day. Carol was very accommodating. She allowed me to see where he would be, answered any questions I had and sent pictures to me to assure me he was ok. I was grateful for that. That helped ease my mind. I would definitely use her again if it should become necessary again. She's awesome!!”

“I can’t thank her enough for helping me out on such short notice! She took my dog in last minute for the weekend and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated, treated my dog like one of her own, and it was obvious my pup was happy and well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing I have someone I can trust when unexpected things come up. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you again!”

“Bianca was a wonderful host on a short notice trip. She took great care of my 5 month old goldendoodle and gave me updates throughout the visit. Her dogs also got along well with mine and I think they became good buddies. Thanks, Bianca!”

Tammy was great! This was the first time we have used Rover.com to find a pet sitter and we have already rebooked with Tammy for additional dates. Our experience was positive from the initial booking through all communication leading up to our dogs staying with her and of course the actual stay. Tammy was flexible and quick to respond to any questions and potential changes to our plans. Definitely recommend.

Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
