About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had hands on experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies to seniors. I’ve been around dogs that are very calm and dogs that “don’t usually like people” and have been able to have them warm up to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medication, and providing exercise and play. I currently have a lot of free time which allows me to be more flexible in caring for your pets and making sure they receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. When caring for pets I prioritize keeping their normal routines to reduce stress. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and playtime based on their energy levels. I pay close attention to behaviors and behaviors changes and ensure doors, gates, and leases are secure for safety. I also can send photo updates to owners while they’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. We currently have 2 large dogs. I can administer medication. I have a very flexible schedule. My schedule is very flexible since I have a 2.5yr old daughter. My husband is also home about 50% of the month which makes my schedule even more flexible. I have taken care of all different sizes and breeds of dogs and cats since I was a kid. Both of my dogs are rescues who needed some extra love to acclimate when they came home.

Erika was absolutely amazing! She was so good and so sweet with my dog! She took her on such a long walk and I got to see videos of her playing at the dog park. I’m always nervous being away from my baby so getting to see videos made me feel so good! She went above and beyond and I am so thankful! Will be booking her every time I need a walker for Mabel!

About: Friendly sitter with experience with senior pups, cats and chickens. I currently have two wonderful dogs and a handful of chickens. One of our dogs is what we believe is a Foxhound and the other is a Shepherd mix. Both are rescues so we are not sure. I also have experience with cats, parrots (green crowned conure) and various farm animals. Update: I no longer work from home. I am now in Richmond M-F, 8-5. I am happy to stop by during my lunch break to check on your babies in the city. Any other surrounding areas would have to be weekends and not during work hours. Apologies for any inconvenience! I am happy to stop by your home and care for your pets. One of my pups is reactive and we do not want to make her (or your baby) uncomfortable by bringing other pets into our space.

About: Whether your precious purse pooch needs a structured routine while you’re at work or you have to leave your gigantic baby home while going on vacation, I’ve got you covered! I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own pets (cats and dogs!) and friends and family have trusted me to feed, play, and meet their dogs needs while they’re away. I work part time and am saving up to go back to college in the Fall, so until then my availability is pretty open to help. Whether its early mornings, nights, or weekend stays, I am flexible when it comes to my schedule and value consistent communication when changes come up. I have reliable transportation and can accommodate last minute needs or plan for more structured, longer care. At the moment, I prefer to take care of pets in the comfort of their own home since I don't have a big enough space to invite your pets into. You know your pet best and sticking to what they're familiar with as far as feedings, exercise, and other care is what I will prioritize. My approach is calm, steady, and confident. High energy doesn't overwhelm me and big personalities don't intimidate me. Did you think of your feisty cat with the big attitude just now? Or is your dog sprinting a relay race from room to room as you read this? I would love to meet them! I focus on creating a balanced environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and understood.

About: New to the site but not new to petsitting! I've had various pets my entire life and been pet sitting/walking for over 25 years! I have experience with any species from hamsters, lizards, and bunnies, to cats and dogs, as well as livestock! My family raises and competes with oxen in the Northeast, and until recently moving south I cared for large animals (horses, cattle, goats, etc) as a side gig as well. There isn't an animal out there that I'm unwilling to work with! I love to care for and work with dogs. I'm happy to do regularly scheduled walks/hikes, or help out as needed. I don't have any official training certification but I do have a background in behavior analysis that has proven helpful when working with and training pets and farm animals. I'm available weekdays mostly during the day but have plenty of flexibility overall. Also available most weekends! Message me with your needs and I can check my schedule for availability. I have a German Shepherd and a Staffordshire Terrier. Although they love to play, due to their size and intensity of play, I'm not doing any care in my home at this time. If I establish a relationship with a client and know their pet well enough to know if it's a good fit, we can discuss the possibility of care in my home. I am willing to do care for small animals in cages in my home (hamster, bearded dragon, etc) In a client's home, I will follow whatever individual preferences they have!

About: I have ALWAYS loved animals and have wanted to work with animals in some capacity. In the past, I worked at a dog grooming service and loved it, but I want to do something with more interaction with the pets, I have taken veterinarian classes all through high school, and am certified to become a vet assistant. I’ve had a dog in my home since I was 12 and also have had my own dog for 3+ years and a couple cats as well. I currently go to Powhatan High School and nanny for a family with two children after school! As of this summer I will be nannying Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00am - 6:00pm but will have time off as needed. I also have Wednesdays and weekends off. This is just an extra way for me to meet some fur-babies and do something I love while earning a little bit extra!! I have 2 dogs and a kitty at my house but I prefer to go to your fur-baby's home, where they are more comfortable and where it will cause less stress to your pets as-well as my own. I can provide any services to your pets such as walks, checking in throughout the day, or just playing in the backyard!

About: I provide personalized, attentive care tailored to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s calming companionship for anxious pets, playtime for energetic puppies, or gentle care for seniors, I ensure every pet feels safe and loved. My experience with medication administration, basic training, and maintaining routines sets me apart. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving you peace of mind while you're away. When I’m away at UNC Chapel Hill, my parents help support the business so our clients experience the same reliable, loving care. My mom is a retired teacher who adores animals and has been hands-on with many of our bookings. We always communicate clearly about who will be caring for your pet — and we treat every pet like family. This reassures clients nothing changes except availability improves. As a college pre-med student with a passion for pets, I balance my studies with caring for animals, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. My medical background gives me an extra edge when it comes to understanding health needs, administering medications, and ensuring pets stay happy and healthy. I prioritize each pet’s well-being while managing my busy academic schedule, offering owners peace of mind that their pets are in capable, loving hands. When caring for pets in my or client's home, I ensure a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's specific needs. If they stay in my home, I create a cozy space with plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. I maintain routines, whether it's feeding schedules, medications, or nap times, to minimize stress. For in-home visits, I focus on maintaining the pet’s usual environment and routine, providing personalized care such as feeding, play, and cuddles, while also ensuring their space is clean and secure. My approach is always flexible, offering a combination of love, safety, and reliability.

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was young and love to be around all animals! I used to nanny for a family with 5 kids and they had a wonderful dog that I always helped to care for! Feeding and taking him to the groomers and vet appointments…all things that I was lucky to get to help with! I also used to care for 2 cats (both needing to take medication) and a bull dog on a daily basis! I have a Jack Russell (that just passed away) myself that I had for about 10+ years and no kids do she was my only fur baby! I have recently in the past year gotten a brand new puppy named Sugar! She is a beagle/terrier/lab mix and 25 pounds of Adorableness! She is so sweet And absolutely my little girl, as she follows me everywhere and tries to be wherever I am, and always under foot!!! She’s a little skittish and still all puppy at eight months! So I am no stranger to puppy needs at all! I also have Bella, who is a pit/beagle mix and she is a little over a year and a half old! She is 60 pounds of crazy but happy and smart and always at my husband side! What a love bug! But remember, with pets, there is no personal space! Lol I love pets of all kinds and will care for them as if they were my own! Snuggles are free!!! I am currently a part-time private nanny, to a bunch of different families who may need care for their little ones day a week, and my schedule is always changing from week to week! This is a little niche that I found that nobody was able to fill, and I wanted to dedicate my career to helping those families who only need four hours a day one day a week and that doesn’t necessarily need to be the same day. As my schedules always changing, my availability will always be changing so I will try to keep that up-to-date as I hope more of you reach out! I’m really looking forward to all the snuggles! I am always very mindful of the time for feedings and walks…any medication will be given correctly and timely…I will make sure your home is locked up after I leave from a walk and/or feeding! Please know that I will do my best to. Gain the trust of the animal! Cats too!
