When caring for pets I prioritize keeping their normal routines to reduce stress. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and playtime based on their energy levels. I pay close attention to behaviors and behaviors changes and ensure doors, gates, and leases are secure for safety. I also can send photo updates to owners while they’re away.

Before watching a pet I’d like to know their routine, feeding schedules, and any medication/health concerns. I also like to know their energy levels, their favorite activities, any triggers they have, or behavioral quirks. I also would like to know how they do around other people and pets if they have any allergies and what commands they are familiar with.
A typical day
It depends on each pets personality and energy level. For more high energy pets I’d include activities like walks and playtime with toys like fetch and lots of attention. For lower energy dogs I’d provide brushing them and lots of pets/letting them relax. I try to keep pets routines similar to what they are used to so they feel as happy and stress free as possible.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have had hands on experience with small, medium, and large dogs as well as puppies to seniors. I’ve been around dogs that are very calm and dogs that “don’t usually like people” and have been able to have them warm up to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering oral medication, and providing exercise and play.

Taylynn is responsible, flexible, and dependable! My cat (and home) was well cared for while I was away for 2 weeks.
We were lucky enough to have Taylynn take care of our animals. She was very responsive and was communicative with daily updates and pictures. She even swept our main floor before we got home. It was almost like we never left. We can't recommend her enough!
Taylynn was excellent! She had great communication, very obviously cares about doing a good job, showed up on time and was very pleasant during all our interactions. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a pet sitter.
