About: Growing up I always had animals around me. My childhood dog, Twinkie was a cute little yappy Pomeranian. She was a picky eater, but would always save a treat in her bowl and only ate it with me after I came home from school. In high school I volunteered at the local Wildlife Rescue where I cared for various small injured animals. I was responsible for feeding and weighing them, cleaning their cages, raising meal worms, and even got to observe surgeries. After college I lived a veterinarian so I am used to caring for random foster animals without notice. I work from home with a flexible schedule to care for animals. I can type on my computer in the same room your pet naps. I can take your pet on walks at any time needed, though I recommend mornings and evenings due to the current heat outside. I cook and clean for all of my own meals and can do the same for your pet. I can schedule cuddles or play time as needed throughout the day as well. :) I have a downstairs lounge, an upstairs living room, and a few bonus rooms in which your pet can relax. There are no other animals or plants in these areas. Crating is fine, but I prefer animals to have more space and freedom to move about. If I am coming to your home I am happy to follow any rules or special instructions you may have. During down times I will be using my laptop quietly in the same room as your pet.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I have early classes and finish by midday, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoon and evening for dog walking. I’m organized and reliable, and I make sure to prioritize time with pets in a way that fits consistently into my weekly routine. Since I offer dog walking only, I focus on giving each dog a safe, fun, and engaging walk. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner like leash preferences, walking routes, or special needs. I always make sure dogs stay hydrated, avoid hazards, and get the right amount of exercise for their age and energy level. I treat every dog with care and patience, just like I would my own.

“Heather did an exceptional job! This was our first time using Rover and when we first met Heather during the meet and greet we knew our pups would be in good hands, and we were right! We hired her for 2 drop-in visits a day for 6 days for our two dogs. She communicated well, gave detailed updates, and photos each day. Because of her consistent communication, we were truly able to enjoy our vacation and know our pups were being well taken care of. She even went out of her way to bring in any unexpected mail/packages for us, and left a toy and some treats for our dogs when we got home. About: I have had my dog Hagen since I was 10 years old. I trained him by myself from pott trainings to crate training and even simple trick. He is very gentle and wonderful with kids and I’m so glad i’ve gotten to grow up with him. I am currently interning part time before I go to college so that leaves plenty of time to play with pups of all ages. I love getting my daily fix with dogs and can’t imagine life without them. In my clients home I will be respectful of their property and make sure I don’t let their dog out of my sight even if their yard is fenced in. Also, on walks I will keep them away from other dogs because I am unsure how they will react unless the owner has specified otherwise that they are friendly with other dogs and I feel safe doing so.

About: I have always been enthusiastic about animals since I was little. I have never once lived without a dog. Starting in my high school years, I have sat for multiple dogs belonging to different relatives, along with working at a doggy daycare. Currently, I have a senior chihuahua mix of my own! I have a completely open schedule and I am available every day of the week at all hours of the day. I am also very willing to adjust myself around my clients' schedules. Safety is a priority for me and I always pay close attention to a dog's unique needs. I make sure a dog is supervised as much as possible throughout the day. I also carefully consider a dog's body language and personal space.
